The Tyrant Wants To Live Honestly

TWTLH-Chapter 188

“Nanny, do you really not know where Dorothy went? I was going to introduce her to my friends.”

The nanny smiled and shrugged her shoulders.

‘Is it hide and seek? I guess Dorothy wants to play with me too.’

Raymond was excited.

“Dorothy, Dorothy~”

He was excited and searched the garden.

Under the trees, behind the rocks, in the flower bushes. He searched hard, but he couldn’t see where Dorothea went.

When he couldn’t find her for a long time, the nanny noticed something strange and looked behind the bushes where Dorothea had disappeared.

“She was here just a moment ago!”

It was Dorothea, who usually never had an accident. So the nanny was too careless.

Raymond’s heart sank for a moment.

‘Dorothea has disappeared!’

Raymond became anxious and began searching widely around the garden, but he couldn’t see where she had disappeared to.

Just as he was about to cry, Dorothea was seen, and Theon was next to her.

Raymond smiled broadly, feeling both relief and joy at having her already met his friend.

“Dorothy! You were even outside the garden!”

He ran towards his lovely sister But Dorothea’s cheeks were wet with tears.

In front of him was Theon, who looked confused.

For a moment, Raymond’s eyes turned cold.

“Theon, did you make Dorothy cry?”

Raymond furrowed his brows and looked at Theon, who looked at Dorothea in confusion.

“Maybe… I think so.”

Raymond clenched his fist in response to Theon’s reaction.

“You’re such a naughty boy! I thought you’d be a good friend.”

Raymond pulled Dorothea into his arms.

‘I thought I had made a good new friend who was calm and well-spoken.’

‘I don’t need a friend who makes Dorothy cry.’

‘Dorothy has never cried like this even as a baby!’

It was his first time seeing Dorothea cry so loudly.

Even when she fell hard and scratched both her knees, Dorothea stood up, smiled, and brushed the dirt off her legs.

Even when she met scary knights, she didn’t cry.

‘For Dorothy to cry like that, Theon must have done something really bad.’

“What did you do to Dorothy?”

Raymond hid Dorothea behind his back and glared at Theon with hostile eyes.

Carnan told him to get along well with Theon and Julia.

They are important friends, and they will continue to see each other in the future.

Raymond knew what his father meant when he said, ‘to maintain a good relationship and never let it go wrong’.

Because Grand Duke Fried, along with the Milanese Imperial Family, are the pillars that built Ubera.

But Raymond can’t be friends with someone who makes Dorothea cry.

Theon was confused as he saw Raymond clenched his fist.

“Your Highness Raymond, that is—”

“I didn’t cry because of Theon!”

At that time, Dorothea screamed from behind.

When Raymond turned around in surprise, Dorothea wiped his tears with the back of her hand.

“It’s not because of Theon?”

“It’s because there’s dust in my eyes.”

Raymond tilted his head at Dorothea’s words.

‘There’s no way that dust went in like that. Why are you lying?’

“It was so painful because something like a thorn got in there…”

Dorothea spoke in a sobbing voice.

‘A completely unconvincing excuse. Why is Dorothy like that?’

After thinking about it carefully, Raymond realized her intention.

‘Dorothea already knows how important Theon is. She knows that we shouldn’t fight with the Fried family.’

‘How smart, my younger sister…’

Raymond folded his knees and made eye contact with Dorothea.

“Are you okay now…?”

‘Did Theon do something really bad to her?’

He looked into Dorothea’s eyes.

“I cried because I fell, it’s okay now.”

Dorothea nodded, and Ray was relieved

“Thank god.”

Just then, the nanny came running late.

“Oh my, our princess! You were in the garden, when did you come out here!”

The nanny wiped Dorothea’s tears and comforted her.

Dorothea seemed to be slowly calming down.

Raymond looked at Dorothea and Theon alternately.

‘Anyway… I guess I should introduce them, right?’

“Dorothy, I wanted to introduce you to my new friend.”

Raymond tugged on Theon’s sleeve and made him stand in front of Dorothea.

As Raymond quietly looked at Theon, Theon bowed his head and took Dorothea’s hand.

“I’m sorry for the rudeness of my introduction, Princess Dorothea. I’m Theon Fried.”

Theon politely kissed the back of Dorothea’s hand.

Raymond was relieved to see the sincerity in Theon’s apology.

‘You are a friend who knows how to apologize!’

‘Dorothea, on the other hand… She blushed. Why?’

Raymond was puzzled.

At that time…

“Theon, why did you go alone when I told you to go with me?”

Julia came running from the corner.

Theon seems to have come looking for Raymond when he was late.

“Julia’s here too!”

Raymond thought it was fortunate.

‘Julia is a year younger than me, and because she is a girl, she might have more in common with Dorothea.’

“Dorothy. This is Julia Delevingne. She’s from Friedia with Theon.”

Raymond introduced his new friends.

“Hello, Princess Dorothea.”

Julia smiles brightly and says hello to Dorothea.

Just when Raymond thought Dorothea must be shy, he noticed her expression stiffen.

“Hi…”

Dorothea smiles awkwardly.

‘Oh, I see. Maybe she’s just wary of strangers because she’s never made a new friend before.’

‘I Need to help her get close and become friends with them.’

“Dorothy—”

“I want to go back to my room, Nanny.

Even before Raymond could speak, Dorothea tugged at the nanny’s white apron and hid.

“Eh? Why don’t you hang out with your new friends?”

“I’m tired…”

Dorothea went up to her room.

Raymond stood still and looked at Dorothea’s back.

‘Dorothea is in a very bad mood during this day. It was surprising because Dorothea seemed to be good at anything.’

“Still, it would be good for her to make friends…”

Even though she’s a princess, she doesn’t have any friends.

‘Come to think of it, I couldn’t even show her my spirit.’

‘Dorothea will be able to do it soon, if I let her know in advance and talk about it together.’

“Prince Raymond.”

“Ah, yes.”

Raymond, who was staring blankly at the place where Dorothea left, belatedly looked back.

Theon and Julia were waiting.

“Dorothy seems to be in a bad mood today. Let’s play together.”

Raymond smiled brightly.

“Now you will be called His Highness the Crown Prince….Don’t you like it?”

“If I become the crown prince, I have to study more, right?”

Raymond looked out the window.

Outside the window, children were playing. The children of those who worked at the palace.

They don’t go through things like studying and just play around.

Playing in the dirt, catching bugs, and playing in the water. But the crown prince will become a much cooler person than those kids.

“That’s right, Your Highness.”

Minerva nodded, but Raymond’s expression was not bright at all.

“I don’t want to become Emperor.”

“What? Why?”

“His Majesty can’t even come to see me.”

He was so busy that he didn’t even have time to take care of his sons and daughters.

‘He always talks with a serious expression and has no time to play with friends. Who would want to do that?’

“Your Majesty the Emperor is in charge of many important matters.”

“Something more important than meeting me?”

When Raymond raised his eyes and saw Minerva, Minerva lowered her head as if in trouble.

‘Sometimes young children ask such harsh questions.’

“Of course, meeting the crown prince is very important, but His majesty takes care of the countless people of Ubera. Very meaningful and special work.”

Minerva stroked Raymond’s head.

Raymond buried his head on the desk.

‘The most meaningful and special thing for me is playing with my father and Dorothy.’

“You’re going to be able to do great things, Prince, but you’ll have to study harder to do so, right?”

Minerva opened the book.

“Even if I study hard, I’m an idiot.”

“What do you mean an idiot, Your Highness is so smart.”

“Dorothy is smarter than me.”

“That’s… Princess Dorothy is special.”

“Then a special person should be the emperor.”

Raymond looked at Minerva.

Minerva smiled and rolled her eyes.

‘But Princess Dorothea doesn’t know how to handle spirits yet. The only people in the world who know how to handle the spirit of light are His Majesty the Emperor and you.”

“What do I do with spirits?”

Raymond’s sulky voice.

Raymond summoned the spirit and looked at it.

The spirits he can summon with his power are pretty enough to fly in the air, but other than that, it’s not really useful.

‘I wish the spirit could give people bread, I wish the spirit could be a shield in war…’

“Who decided that you have to be able to handle the spirit to become emperor?”
