“Episode 51”

As if knowing how insane her own words sounded, Ray’s eyes couldn’t suppress the awakened greed. It was exactly the look he desired. Eyes deviating from common sense. Only then did Clothan smile with delight.

“How.”

“How? What do you mean?”

Ray was in this state after absorbing the drug. She scanned him with impure eyes, subtly wiping the saliva from her lips. Even eating less than a squirrel, Ray wrapped her hand around Clothan’s throat with a vigor full of energy. Then she lightly twisted his hair in her hand.

“After grabbing you like this.”

It was an immense grip. Adding force to the hand holding his hair almost to the point of breaking his neck, she savored the faintly exposed throat. Her rough fangs were poised to easily pierce the tender skin.

“It must be delicious, Clothan. Truly delicious…”

Swallowing saliva, Ray continued speaking, then suddenly realized and slowly loosened her grip. “Oh. S-sorry.”

Apologizing and trying to give up, Ray disappointed Clothan, who had been expecting much more. He barely expected it to be only this much.

“I’ve been having strange dreams lately, maybe that’s why.”

She quickly regained her composure. Rushing to make amends before her enthusiasm waned, Ray slowly descended from his lap.

“Clothan, so, um, would you like to go for a walk?”

Trying to smooth things over, Ray was unfortunately met with Clothan’s lack of cooperation.

“Clothan?”

Clothan’s hand was enveloped in a white light, and soon a small dagger appeared. Ray, already confused, didn’t understand the situation. Before she could even ask about the purpose of the suddenly conjured dagger, he decisively brought the sharp blade to his palm.

“What are you doing?”

The blade dug into his palm in a straight line. Where the blade passed, red blood spewed out, and rose petals fell onto the white floor like rain. “Clothan!”

The momentary shock at the desperate and acrid smell was soon overshadowed by Ray’s stomach, which began to churn violently. The drops of Clothan’s blood falling before her eyes seemed like a divine elixir, and the urge to lap them up surged within her. Instead of worrying about the wound, all she could think about was the taste of the flowing blood. It was like sugary sweetness, warm and comforting. Just swallowing it once would satisfy her completely. It was an unparalleled delicacy, incomparable to anything else.

“Here.”

Naturally, he extended his injured hand. Ray knew it wasn’t a request for treatment. It was a reward given for indulgence. Ray’s mouth eagerly accepted it. Although a last shred of reason lingered at the edge of her consciousness, time was on the side of instinct.

“Just one bite.”

Not knowing what she was saying, Ray crawled on her knees. Despite her desperate approach, she maintained her composure in front of her goal. Grabbing his hand, dripping with blood, she delicately brought her lips close, as if to share a kiss.

“Oh.”

She had only tasted what was on his lips. Her hesitant tongue emerged first, gingerly licking the blood, then pressing her lips against his wound before greedily sucking it. The blood flowing down her throat was unbelievably sweet. It was a taste she had never experienced before in her life. Despite being full, Ray continued to crave more blood.

Her lips were stained with blood like a lioness feasting on prey. Her gaze was fixated solely on the wound. It was horrifically delicious. Perhaps she could eat it for the rest of her life. With her mouth full of blood, Ray thought to herself.

“Is it delicious?”

Unable to answer, and looking at Ray stuck to his hand, Clothan couldn’t help but chuckle. It was complete now. There was no reason for her to feel anxious.

The reason she could never leave him forever. If there wasn’t one, this was all it took to make her stay forever.
