Frey’s eyes widened at Daniel’s confession.
‘Love you…’
As she pondered the two letters, blood rushed to her face. The feeling that an emergency suddenly took hold of the heart that was beating slowly.
However, it wasn’t that she hadn’t noticed it at all.
It’s just that I’m surprised because it’s the first time I’ve heard this from a man and a nice man like Daniel Prause.
Daniel curled his lips inward. He had never seen Frey, blushing like this, even in the glimpsed future.
The reaction was so many times more adorable than he’d imagined, he wanted to push harder.
“Frey. You cannot leave me.”
Daniel remembered what his future self had looked like when he’d first glimpsed Frey’s future. He was half naked, tears streaming down his face like he had no self-respect.
[‘A guy who cries in front of a woman is pathetic.’]
‘As soon as I saw it, I just thought so, I said it all.’
But now, after having feelings for Frey, he corrected his present self.
It was clear that the future had changed, with divorce talks coming out of Frey’s mouth. He was quite confident.
Contrary to his expectations, however, Frey hesitated before opening his mouth.
“Daniel, before, you used your ability to foresee the future because you were worried that I would divorce you.”
“….?”
‘Why did the future change?’
Daniel wanted to ask the God who gave him this ability.
[“Frey. Shall we forget about our contract and start over?”]
‘When I said that, I thought future Frey would forget about the divorce if he listened to me.’
As his face showed doubt, Frey was quick to add.
“Daniel. I’m glad you told me you love me. really.”
“….”
The sight of Frey’s smiling face made Daniel forget the doubt that had been swirling in his mind.
There was something about her messy blonde hair and the joy in her eyes that made him forget everything else for a moment.
Soon, however, Frey’s expression turned worried. The reddened corners of his eyes revealed his frustration.
“But whenever you use this ability, you say you saw a future where we get divorced…I’m also afraid that if I say I love you, then we’ll fall out.”
“….”
Daniel was speechless for a moment.
In the future he saw, it was always Frey who left.
However, Frey, not knowing exactly what future he had glimpsed, seemed to think it was Daniel who was leaving.
Looking at Frey, who was anxious, all kinds of thoughts came to mind.
‘I’ll try to explain to her that you’re the one who left, so she doesn’t have to worry about my feelings.’
Frey could thank him for his honesty.
‘But before I could organize my thoughts, my heart throbbed first.’
“Frey. Are you afraid that you will fall in love with me too?”
‘For days, I thought I was the only one afraid…’
He fears that Frey will leave him as the future he glimpsed. That she’d turn her back on him and call him with a cold voice.
But then he realized that Frey was thinking the same thing. He felt a strange sense of excitement at this realization.
Frey blushed and averted her gaze.
“It was just that, on my way back to Prause Castle during our wedding anniversary, I had a sudden thought. The time I spent with you in the North was very happy.”
“….”
Daniel’s throat tightened.
Something must have gone wrong with his body to overreact when he only knew one of her emotions.
Daniel carefully reached out and stroked her hair.
‘I already didn’t have the patience to waste time with ambiguous words like starting over.’
“Frey. Then let’s change our future.”
The hand that had been so gently stroking her hair brushed against her ear. Frey sucked in a breath but didn’t move away.
‘I liked the way he handled me with care like he was handling a valuable object, and the way he so bluntly suggested we change our future.’
“Starting today, I’m going to do the things that other couples do, one by one.”
“….”
“If you feel uneasy about accepting my feelings after we have done everything…then tell me again how is it?”
Not a single word of letting go came out of her mouth.
“As I said before, I will be able to satisfy you, Frey.”
But mesmerized by the sweet voice, Frey didn’t notice anything strange and nodded.

Meanwhile, a secret conspiracy was underway at the Prause Castle.
“Come on, Arsene.”
“Yes, brother.”
“Where did Frey and the Grand Duke go?”
“Um….”
Damon and Arsene crossed their short arms and pondered.
They weren’t sure what the anniversary was all about, but Frey seemed happy to be out with Daniel.
Arsene gripped the window sill and squealed when he caught a glimpse of the carriage as they returned from their date.
[“Wow! She has a rich color!”]
[“Really?”]
The color was pale, but there was definitely a pink tinge in Frey’s eyes as she looked at Daniel.
‘Pink is my favorite color, so maybe they’ll stay together forever?’
Damon and Arsene were amused by that thought and ate the cookies the Grand Duke bought when they returned.
As they were drinking milk, the atmosphere in the castle suddenly became strange.
[“If anything were to happen to the Emperor’s health, should the grand duchess stay at the imperial palace?”]
[“If she has a will for the throne…”]
Knights and servants walked from the castle at a busy pace, chatting about various things.
Damon and Arsene couldn’t understand all the difficult words, but they used a combination of mood and ability to figure out what was going on.
“What if Frey doesn’t return….”
Chuuk!
The two boys sulked like puppies who’d lost their favorite cushion.
Too many people were talking about the possibility of Frey staying at the palace so they couldn’t dismiss it as a useless concern.
As they wondered if there was any way to bring her back, they heard a conversation among the knights in the hallway.
“Couldn’t young lady Lydia have manipulated the undead monster to break the barrier?”
“If we can stop them, Lady Frey and His Majesty the Emperor will be relieved.”
“But the opponent is transcendent, so we have no choice but to trust Grand Duke.”
Again, the two couldn’t understand the contents of the conversation.
But a simple schematic settled in the two children’s heads.
[Lydia stop = Frey returns to the castle.]
Realizing an important fact, the two children started moving quickly.
“Luke. I’m going to take a nap.”
“Are you sleepy? If you go to sleep now, you might wake up hungry later.”
“I am not hungry.”
“I ate the cookies grand duke bought earlier.”
Luke took the two children to the bedroom without questioning them and covered them with a blanket.
At least until tonight, the atmosphere in the castle seemed not good, so he decided that it might be better to put the youngsters to sleep.
“Have a nice dream, young master.”
As soon as Luke said goodnight to them warmly and left, Damon and Arsene rose from their bed.
They grabbed their clothes from the closet, rolled them up, and laid them on the bed, then pulled the covers over them to hide them and play tricks, so people didn’t know they were leaving.
“Let’s go, Arsene.”
“Yes, brother.”
Gee!
The children had learned from Wiz how to use the necklace for self-defense given by Frey.
Due to the nature of being a transcendentalist, they instinctively knew how to use magic, so with theoretical understanding added, sneaking out of the castle was not difficult.
They worked so well together that Frey would have shuddered at the memory of the original story disaster.
“We will get scolded by Luke later. right?”
“Yeah…but let’s go find Lydia.”
Convincing Lydia should be a piece of cake, especially since they’d brought a bunch of cookies to bribe her.
The two first set the coordinates to the zoo in the imperial palace they had visited before.
Then they hid in the bushes and activated Arsene’s ability.
It was easy to figure out who had an evil mind just by looking at the color of the airflow.
“Brother, that person!”
“Let’s follow.”
If you follow those who have undead monsters in their heads, there will be plenty of similar ones.
Arsene peered into their minds, trying to figure out where Lydia was.
‘The basement of the building that the Duke of Gelon is using as a wine cellar.’
‘A place where you can properly cover yourself even when the blood of undead monsters splatters.’
‘If you go right from the alley at the mouth of the Rennes River, you’ll find a wonderful vineyard beneath it.’
Arsene gathered information in an instant.
The coordinates of the moving magic circle set by the four-year-old Transcendentalist with only his intuition and ability were accurate.
“Let’s go, brother.”
“Yes!”
Gee!
Once again, a scene that would have shocked Frey was created.
In an instant, Damon and Arsene moved to the dank basement and looked around.
There was no sign of anything large, including adults or animals.
“Lydia—!”
Relieved, they clutched the cookies tightly in their hands and looked around innocently.
Tuk!
It was just then that something caught at their feet.
