With a somewhat unsure expression, I scanned the text.

Spirits of Fortune are the most human-friendly among all spirits.
Although invisible to the human eye, they are always near people, bestowing various blessings upon those they favor.
However, forming a contract with a Spirit of Fortune is extremely difficult, as they are generally cautious, shy, and timid, making them reluctant to respond to calls.
Once a contract is established, though, the contractor can expect a lifetime of small fortunes.
For example, finding a gold coin at least once a month … (excerpt)… However, the offensive power of a Spirit of Fortune is very weak.
They avoid conflict and dislike situations of strife.
That said, in the rare case of a contractor’s life being in peril, the Spirit of Fortune may suddenly transform into a Spirit of Misfortune, changing its nature entirely.
After reading, I let out a deep sigh, resting my chin on my hands.
‘I think this might be right… but since I only have one chance, I need to be careful.’
By the way, what do spirits look like?
I’ve never seen the Spirit Kings either, so I’m curious.

After confirming Lina wasn’t nearby, I whispered as quietly as I could.

The explanation of Spirit Sight was on the very first page of the Spirit Encyclopedia.
It’s a vision that allows one to see spirits, which are intertwined with all things in the world but remain invisible to ordinary people.

Spirits of Fate are the only domain that has never formed a contract with anyone.
It’s uncertain whether a Spirit King even exists for this domain, and its appearance has never been recorded in history.
Unless one delves into the vanished ancient past, no existing spirit master has ever reported contracting with a Spirit of Fate.
As such, its abilities and personality remain a complete mystery.
It is unknown whether this domain has ranks like lower, intermediate, advanced, or Spirit King, as other domains do. Its existence has only been confirmed through oral tradition, myths, and folklore.

Spirits of Emotion are balanced in all aspects.
They are temperamental and difficult to handle, with abilities that fluctuate depending on both the spirit master’s and the spirit’s emotional state.
However, if managed well, they can bring significant victories to their allies.
Their attacks involve manipulating human emotions, making their moves unpredictable, which is useful for professions requiring stealth.
As the rank increases from lower to advanced spirits, the number of targets they can affect simultaneously also grows.
As I diligently read, my eyes sparkled at the word ‘victory.’
“Cool.”
At that moment, glittering text appeared in midair.
[The Spirit King of Emotion ‘■■■’ shrugs smugly and puffs up with pride.]
[Yes, I’m pretty amazing, right? I could handle an army of ten thousand. By manipulating emotions to make them *** and compel them to ***, the amplified *** ultimately leads them to *** themselves.]

I’m curious about what was said, but Yupyrhos blocked it.
Anyway, it’s clear that they’re very powerful.
‘Now I’ve finished reading about the Core Spirit domains.’
Next up: the elemental spirits!
Fire spirits ignite flames, while water spirits can manipulate both water and ice.
Earth spirits govern abundance and famine, as well as minerals and plants.
Even among earth spirits, those aligned with minerals and those aligned with plants differ in nature.
Then there’s air.
Air spirits are semi-transparent, bouncy, and said to laugh a lot.

I scratched my head in frustration and turned to the description of air spirits.
This was important—what if the unidentified Spirit King belonged to air?

Spirits of Air have the lowest affinity with humans among elemental spirits.
This isn’t because they dislike humans but because they are indifferent to everything in the world.
They value freedom above all else and take immense pride in their boundless liberty.
Since air exists everywhere in the world, they can go anywhere and be anywhere.
Because they treasure their freedom, they rarely enter contracts with humans.
Although the contract difficulty is exceptionally high, once a contract is formed, they remain loyal until the contractor’s death.
Few living beings can survive without breathing.
Unless one is a homunculus, rock, steel golem, or zombie, breathing is essential.
For any living creature, the attack of an air spirit can be terrifying.
They simply cut off the air supply.
‘Wow, air is cool too!’
That narrows down the unidentified Spirit King to two possibilities: Fortune or Air.
Pouting slightly, I pondered deeply before making up my mind.
I decided to answer before Lina returned!
“Yuppy, the Spirit King of ◇◇ is…”

My heart pounded wildly. What if I was wrong?
