The Whole World Knows That the Crown Prince Loves Her

Ye Qin noticed Huang Quan’s sudden silence and inquired, “What’s on your mind, Quanquan?”

Huang Quan shook her head and explained, “I was just thinking about something. I can’t decide whether to be more proactive or reserved.”

Ye Qin appeared puzzled by her dilemma. Huang Quan was known for her decisiveness, so he wondered what could make her hesitate about being proactive or reserved.

“What’s causing this uncertainty?” Ye Qin questioned.

Huang Quan sighed and said, “I’ll reconsider it.”

“Alright, take your time. If it’s something important, you can be proactive. For less important matters, you can be more reserved.”

Huang Quan’s mind was in turmoil. She thought to herself, “Isn’t the person I’m considering important?”

Ye Qin, unaware of the depth of Huang Quan’s inner conflict, took the bracelet from her and gently placed it on her wrist.

Huang Quan watched as he fastened the bracelet and contemplated speaking further. However, considering the upcoming competition and the limited time they had, she decided to postpone any such conversation until afterward.

With the matter settled, the conversation trailed off, and before long, the carriage came to a stop.

“We’ve arrived at the Alchemy Tower, Master,” the driver informed them.

“Thank you,” Ye Qin replied. He then turned to Huang Quan. “Let’s go, Quanquan.”

Huang Quan nodded and followed Ye Qin as they disembarked from the carriage.

Their presence didn’t go unnoticed, and they immediately attracted the attention of the onlookers.

Huang Quan and Ye Qin were both accustomed to being under scrutiny, so the attention from the onlookers didn’t faze them.

Ye Qin led Huang Quan into the Alchemy Tower and explained, “This is the largest elixir shop in the imperial capital. The Alchemy Tower has ten floors, numbered from one to ten. The elixirs sold on each floor correspond to that floor’s level.”

Huang Quan listened and clarified, “So, the first-level elixirs are on the first floor, the second-level elixirs on the second floor, and so on?”

“Yes,” Ye Qin confirmed. “On the first floor, you can find all kinds of first-level elixirs, whether they’re high-grade or low-grade first-level elixirs.”

Huang Quan scanned the surroundings, noticing that the first floor was relatively empty, while the upper floors appeared more crowded.

A waiter approached and inquired, “Two guests, may I ask what level of elixirs you’re interested in purchasing?”

Although Ye Qin didn’t state it explicitly, Huang Quan knew they weren’t here to buy elixirs; they were here to sell them.

Ye Qin presented a token to the waiter. As soon as the waiter saw the token, his demeanor shifted, becoming more respectful and serious. “Please wait a moment. I’ll go inform the shopkeeper,” he said, then swiftly departed.

Observing this, Huang Quan turned to Ye Qin. “It seems you have connections in the Tianqi Empire.”

Huang Quan hadn’t probed Ye Qin about his identity, but from his familiarity with the Tianqi Empire, the mansion, and the token he presented, it was evident that Ye Qin had a connection to the Empire.

“Do you want to know, Quanquan?” Ye Qin asked with a smile.

Huang Quan shook her head. “If you didn’t volunteer the information, I won’t pry.”

There were times when she didn’t share information, not necessarily because she didn’t want to, but due to her own reasons. While she could be quite curious, there were certain topics where her curiosity didn’t even register.

For instance, Huang Quan was more intrigued by the death aura that surrounded Ye Qin than his identity.
