The Whole World Knows That the Crown Prince Loves Her

“Go back to the palace,” Di Qin instructed.

“Yes.”

Together, Huang Quan and Di Qin entered the carriage, which was then driven towards the palace.

Inside the carriage, Huang Quan expressed her gratitude, saying, “Thank you for your help.”

Di Qin gazed at her and smiled, “Aren’t you curious why I helped you?”

“Curious,” Huang Quan replied with a smile. She inquired, “Why did Your Highness help me?”

“If I said that I fell in love with you at first sight, would you believe it?”

“Yes,” Huang Quan responded with a smile. “I am so good-looking; isn’t it normal to fall in love at first sight?”

Suddenly, Di Qin seemed to revisit the moment he was rescued by her.

That day, he had remarked, ‘You look very good.’

She had replied, ‘That’s pretty much it.’

At that time, he had thought, ‘Can you be a little humble?’

Now, he doesn’t think so anymore. Her appearance was heavenly, so why should she be modest?

“Yes,” Di Qin affirmed with a smile. “You are very good-looking.”

“I have confidence in my appearance, but I also have confidence in His Highness the Crown Prince. I believe that His Highness the Crown Prince is not the kind of person who falls in love at first sight just because someone is good-looking,” Huang Quan stated. “Your Highness, please tell the truth about the reason for your help.”

Di Qin looked at her and said, “I believe you can find the answer yourself.”

Huang Quan raised her eyebrows, looking at him with a half-smile.

By letting her find the answer on her own, wasn’t he giving her the answer?

“Your Highness, we’re here,” a man’s voice interrupted outside the carriage.

Di Qin commanded, “Get out of the car.”

“Okay.”

Suppressing other thoughts for the time being, Huang Quan stepped out of the carriage. Observing the splendid and sacred palace before her, she asked, “Is this the priest’s palace?”

“Yes,” Di Qin nodded. “Your brother is inside; come with me.”

After that, Di Qin led the way to the priest’s hall.

The priest’s temple, though spacious, was empty.

Di Qin guided Huang Quan through the corridors into a small courtyard.

The high priest stood outside the courtyard. Upon seeing them, he reported, “The alchemist just left, and Nangong Mian fell asleep.”

Concerned, Huang Quan asked, “How is my third brother now?”

“His life was saved, but he was seriously injured. It will take a long time for a full recovery,” the high priest replied.

“Thank you,” Huang Quan expressed her gratitude. “I’ll go in and see the Third Brother first.”

Di Qin nodded, “Go ahead.”

Huang Quan entered the room without saying anything more.

Observing the people entering the room, the high priest turned to Di Qin, “Since you are here, I will leave first.”

“Very well.”

After the high priest departed, Di Qin raised his eyes and glanced at the room in front of him.

Inside the room, Huang Quan looked at Nangong Mian, who had fallen asleep, her dark eyes filled with distress.

Huang Quan extended her hand, lifted the quilt, and untied Nangong Mian’s clothes.

The injured area had been bandaged. Carefully controlling her strength, Huang Quan cut off the bandages and then gently removed them, revealing the bloody wounds.

The wounds had already been treated with medicine. Huang Quan found a basin, fetched some water, and cleaned the wounds.

Once the wounds were cleansed, Huang Quan placed her hand on them. A green light overflowed from her palm, covering the wounds and beginning the healing process.

A quarter of an hour later.

Huang Quan re-dressed Nangong Mian, covered him with a quilt, and left the room.

When Huang Quan emerged from the room, she saw Di Qin.

“You didn’t leave,” Huang Quan noted.

“I was waiting for you to come out,” Di Qin replied, looking at her. “How is your brother’s injury?”

“He is fine,” Huang Quan assured him. “He will wake up soon.”
