The Whole World Knows That the Crown Prince Loves Her

Chapter 342: “Give Him a Surprise”

Upon hearing the man’s agreement, Huang Quan breathed a sigh of relief. “You can come out now.”

“Once you’re out, I’ll send you to a special space.”

With this in mind, Huang Quan contacted Kumo in the space, instructing her to inform the man of the rules that had been previously set. As for the treasure…

Given the special circumstances, and having just forcibly awakened the treasure the day before, it wasn’t advisable to do so again immediately. She would wait until the treasure woke up to discuss it.

Kumo assured Huang Quan, “Don’t worry, I’ll explain everything to him.”

“Alright,” Huang Quan responded, focusing on the man.

The man, being an external soul entering Nangong Yan’s body, could leave easily if he wished.

Soon, the man exited Nangong Yan’s body.

As soon as he emerged, Huang Quan grabbed his hand and transported him into the space, ensuring no chance for the Heavenly Dao to detect it.

After sending the man into the space, Huang Quan handed him over to Kumo and began using the life energy to cleanse the death aura from Nangong Yan’s body and soul.

The death aura was soon completely cleared.

Nangong Yan looked at Huang Quan, feeling a surge of curiosity.

They had only been away for three years. What had happened during that time to cause such a significant change in Huang Quan?

As Nangong Yan was staring at Huang Quan, she happened to look up at him.

Their eyes met, and both were momentarily taken aback before breaking into smiles.

Huang Quan said, “Your body is free from the death aura now. It won’t affect you anymore.”

“Ningquan, thank you,” Nangong Yan said, his mind filled with questions he chose not to ask her directly.

He planned to wait until A-Mian returned to ask him.

“We’re family; there’s no need for thanks,” Huang Quan said. “Once you’re back, A-Mian will be so happy.”

“Let’s not contact him just yet,” Nangong Yan suggested. “Let’s give him a surprise.”

Huang Quan raised an eyebrow. “Are you sure, Second Brother?”

“Yes,” Nangong Yan nodded.

“Alright,” Huang Quan said. “Since you say so, I won’t contact Third Brother for now.”

“But when Third Brother returns, he’ll head straight to the academy and won’t be coming out,” Huang Quan added. “I’ll let you know when he gets back.”

“Okay,” Nangong Yan agreed. He looked at everyone and asked, “It seems like you all came here directly upon returning?”

Everyone nodded. They had received news on the way back and came here immediately to prevent anyone from leaving.

Nangong Yan chuckled, “Alright, I’m not going anywhere now. There are plenty of guest rooms here, all cleaned regularly. I’ll show you to your rooms so you can rest.”

Since Huang Quan wouldn’t be leaving soon, neither would the others, except for the Grand Priest. After greeting Huang Quan, the Grand Priest took his leave.

Nangong Yan showed the remaining guests to their rooms and then returned to Huang Quan.

“Quan Quan,” Nangong Yan said, sitting down after entering the room. “You mentioned that the Soul Searcher can’t be successfully crafted. Is there another way to find our parents and brother?”

Huang Quan nodded. “Yes, there is another method.”

She had originally planned to use that method if there was no news of their brother and father within three days. Now that Second Brother is found, she can use it to locate their parents!

With that thought, Huang Quan looked at Nangong Yan and said, “Second Brother, I will start by searching for either our parents or Third Brother.”

Chapter 343: “Don’t Do Anything That Hurts Yourself”

“Find one first, and then figure out the rest,” Huang Quan said.

Nangong Yan listened and looked at her without speaking for a while.

Eventually, he asked, “Quan Quan, there are some things I was planning to ask Third Brother when he returns, but since you mentioned it, I have to ask you now.”

Huang Quan knew exactly what he wanted to ask. No one is foolish; the changes in her weren’t something that could be explained away by a near-death experience.

A normal person wouldn’t become like her just from almost dying—unless something fundamental had changed within them.

“Second Brother, go ahead and ask,” Huang Quan said, looking at him. “I’ll answer any questions as long as I know the answers.”

Nangong Yan asked, “How is your condition? Is it getting better?”

Huang Quan was taken aback, surprised by his question. She had prepared herself to explain her identity, but Second Brother had asked about her condition instead.

“What’s wrong?”

Seeing her hesitation, Nangong Yan raised an eyebrow. “Didn’t you say you would answer any questions you knew the answers to? Why are you silent?”

“Do you not know your own condition?”

“Yes, I know.” Huang Quan replied obediently. “With the spiritual power, I can suppress the cough now; it doesn’t persist like before.”

Nangong Yan nodded. “That’s good to hear.”

Huang Quan looked at him and asked, “Is there anything else you want to know, Second Brother?”

Nangong Yan smiled. “Of course, there are other things I want to ask.”

Huang Quan nodded. “Then please ask, Second Brother.”

Nangong Yan asked, “You mentioned finding one among our parents and Third Brother first?”

“Yes,” Huang Quan confirmed. “We can start by locating one of them.”

Nangong Yan inquired, “How will you do that?”

Huang Quan looked at him and said, “Third Brother, the process is too complicated to explain clearly.”

Nangong Yan asked, “Is it too complicated to explain, or is it something you can’t talk about?”

“How can you find someone when you don’t even know their general location, without using a soul-searching artifact?”

“I—”

Nangong Yan patted her shoulder and said, “Our bodies come from our parents. Don’t do anything that harms yourself.” With that, he turned and walked out.

He wasn’t sure what it would take to search such a vast area, but from what he had seen with the man who had troubled him before, it must be a great cost. He didn’t want her to go through that.

Huang Quan turned and watched Nangong Yan leave.

Once he was out of sight, Huang Quan sighed.

Using that method would indeed come with a cost, but without any clues, how could they find anyone?

“Quan Quan.” Emperor Qin appeared at the door of her room, looking at the sighing Huang Quan.

Huang Quan turned at the sound of his voice and asked, “Qin Qin, what are you doing here?”

“I came to check on you,” Emperor Qin said. “And to provide a clue.”

At the mention of a clue, Huang Quan’s interest was piqued. “What clue?”

“How to find Uncle and Aunt,” Emperor Qin replied.

Huang Quan moved forward and pulled him into the room, asking, “Qin Qin, have you found a clue?”

Emperor Qin shook his head. “I didn’t find anything new. It’s just that we already had a clue, but we didn’t realize it before.”

“What clue?” Huang Quan asked.

“Uncle’s jade pendant,” Emperor Qin said. “We previously thought that the pendant was taken by the person behind Nangong Qingle, so we didn’t consider examining it closely.”
