Chapter 326: Third Brother is Actually the God Himself
Hearing this, the High Priest furrowed his brow.
Huang Quan continued, “But I don’t think my third brother is like him.”
“First of all, as the holder of the Line of Death, it’s normal for you to sense the corresponding Line of Life accurately. However, Rong Mian had seen my third brother’s soul state and even occupied his body, yet he couldn’t see the Line of Life. So, I suspect that his soul isn’t as powerful as my third brother’s, hence he couldn’t perceive it. As for why my third brother disappeared when he entered the city…”
“I lean toward the idea that my third brother is the original entity. He was drawn by the fragment of his own soul power within the replica, causing him to ignore the tower’s restrictions and go to Rong Mian.”
The High Priest asked, “If that’s the case, Ah Mian should be stronger than Rong Mian. Why was Rong Mian able to take over his body?”
“Because of experience and knowledge,” Huang Quan explained. “My third brother is a Line of Life. He won’t manifest unless the Line of Death holder is in danger, and Rong Mian’s soul body contains a portion of his original soul power, so my third brother wouldn’t guard against him.”
“Also, Rong Mian has been in the tower for so many years. Whether in terms of strength or experience, he surpasses my third brother, who is not in a state of eruption. So, taking over my third brother’s body was easy for him.”
“That makes sense.”
“My third brother’s situation is quite unique,” Huang Quan said. “Take today’s incident, for example.”
“When I was healing you, I found out that the injury you sustained was nearly fatal, and the person who attacked you intended to kill. As the holder of the Line of Life, my third brother must have sensed your danger, and his true self woke up briefly to save you.”
“His true consciousness is extremely powerful, so when he is awake, the hidden Line of Life appears. Once his true consciousness fades, the Line of Life also disappears.”
“I am one hundred percent certain that my third brother is the god himself,” Huang Quan said. “However, his soul power has been dispersed and used to create other replica souls. For him to fully awaken, there is still much to be done.”
“To start with, finding those replicated souls and reabsorbing his own soul power is an essential step,” Huang Quan continued. “But right now, it’s clear that we have no way to proceed with that step.”
“That’s why I haven’t mentioned these matters to my third brother since we left the ruins.” Huang Quan looked at the High Priest. “And as long as you stay well, my third brother won’t erupt.”
“We will have enough time.”
The High Priest didn’t speak immediately after listening.
After a long pause, he nodded, “I understand.”
“Since you understand, take good care of yourself,” Huang Quan said. “If you are well, so is my third brother.”
If he wasn’t well, her third brother definitely wouldn’t be either.
“I will try to foresee matters related to him,” the High Priest added. “I will do my best to help him find those replica souls and reclaim his soul power as soon as possible.”
Huang Quan was momentarily stunned and looked at him. “That’s what you understood?”
The High Priest met her faint gaze with a strong sense of self-preservation and quickly added, “I also understood what you were saying.”
Huang Quan looked at him for a long while before saying, “I don’t approve of you using foresight to investigate.”
“There’s no doubt that my third brother’s soul is the original soul of that god. But, High Priest, a god’s soul is much stronger than a human’s. Its strength requires a body that matches it.”
“My third brother hasn’t recovered much of his soul power yet, and he hasn’t awakened, so his current body can handle his soul. However, if he ever fully awakens, his current body won’t be able to withstand a god’s soul.”
“If that happens, it could end up harming hm instead
Chapter 327: It Seems They All Have Issues
The High Priest looked at her. “So, should we not search?”
“We definitely need to search,” Huang Quan replied, “but there’s no need to rush.”
Before gathering all of his soul power, we must first make sure that Third Brother’s body becomes stronger. Only then, when his divine soul power is fully restored and he awakens, will his body be able to withstand it.
The High Priest looked at her for a moment, then nodded and said, “I understand.”
“Go and rest,” Huang Quan said, “I’ll rest as well.”
“Alright,” the High Priest responded, and then turned to leave.
Huang Quan followed him outside. Originally, she planned to check on Nangong Min, but she didn’t expect the High Priest to head that way.
Since the High Priest was going there, Huang Quan decided not to follow and went to bathe first.
After bathing, Huang Quan headed to Nangong Min’s room.
The High Priest, who was sitting by the bedside, stood up when he saw her approaching. “I’m going to bathe; I’ll come back later.”
Huang Quan looked at him and said, “You don’t need to come back. I’ll stay with Third Brother.”
“When he wakes up, seeing someone familiar will put him at ease.”
The High Priest was certainly familiar, but in this situation, seeing Huang Quan would be more reassuring.
Hearing this, the High Priest glanced at the unconscious Nangong Min lying on the bed, nodded slightly, and then left.
After he left, Huang Quan walked over to the bedside and sat down, her beautiful eyes narrowing slightly as she looked at the sleeping Nangong Min.
The Nangong family had Ling clan blood, but even so, a half-human, half-Ling bloodline shouldn’t be able to bear a divine soul, let alone a soul more troublesome than a divine one…
Yet his body was able to withstand it, and moreover…
She had issues, Third Brother had issues, so what about Big Brother and Second Brother?
Thinking of the black mark behind Nangong Yun’s ear, Huang Quan sighed in her heart.
It seems they all have issues.
But having new problems doesn’t matter. Even if they have issues, they are still her brothers!
As for the problems they have, she will help them find out and then find a way to solve them!
Nangong Min opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling, feeling a bit confused.
Wasn’t he on a training journey?
If he was on a training journey, why was he inside a room?
What was going on?
Blinking, Nangong Min turned his head to look around, and he saw Huang Quan sitting beside the bed.
“Quan Quan?” Nangong Min called out.
Hearing his voice, Huang Quan turned to look at him. “Third Brother, you’re awake? How do you feel?”
Nangong Min sat up and replied, “My head hurts a bit, but I’m otherwise fine.”
“That’s good.” Huang Quan nodded slightly.
“Quan Quan, didn’t we part ways?” Nangong Min looked at her, his face full of confusion. “How did I end up here with you?”
Huang Quan looked at him and asked, “Do you remember what happened last?”
Nangong Min thought for a moment and said, “I remember I was on my training journey, but suddenly I felt a sense of unease. After that, I don’t remember anything.”
After hearing what Nangong Min said, Huang Quan pondered for a moment and then said, “Third Brother, you came to the city.”
“Huh?”
Nangong Min looked bewildered. “How did I come to the city?”
“No, why don’t I have any memory of coming to the city?”
This matter was tricky; it wouldn’t be easy to hide the truth.
Huang Quan thought carefully for a moment and then said, “Third Brother, I don’t know why you suddenly came to the city, but when you found me, you said you felt I was in danger, so you came.”
“At that time, I was indeed in danger.”
Hearing this, Nangong Min immediately stopped worrying about why he had no memory of coming to the city. He stared at Huang Quan with concern and asked, “Quan Quan, were you hurt?”
