The Whole World Knows That the Crown Prince Loves Her

Chapter 253: Resealing?

Jing Chen looked at him and said, “Take your medicine first.”

Feng Jiuyuan gave him a glance, then took out a porcelain bottle and swallowed the pills inside.

Seeing that he had taken the medicine, Jing Chen said, “I know what you’re going to say.”

“Thank you this time. If there’s a next time, I…” Jing Chen frowned, wanting to say something reassuring but not wanting to lie.

“If there’s a next time, you’ll do the same thing,” Feng Jiuyuan said.

Jing Chen pressed his lips together and remained silent.

Feng Jiuyuan was right.

“This time, I saved you for your father’s sake,” Feng Jiuyuan said, looking at him. “If it happens again, I definitely won’t save you!”

Jing Chen looked at him and nodded slightly. “I understand. Thank you this time.”

“Go back to the High Priest and rest for a while,” Feng Jiuyuan said. “I’m going to lie down too. With them guarding us, you don’t need to worry.”

Jing Chen glanced at the few people surrounding Feng Jiuyuan, nodded, thanked him once more, and then left.

“Bang!”

Soldiers continued to fall from above, prompting the Jiuyuan City people to move Feng Jiuyuan aside and set up a barrier to prevent him from getting injured again.

“Boom!”

A pure white Buddha Lotus exploded on the high wall, sending dozens of soldiers plummeting down.

Jing Chen’s Dragon Chant Zither had dealt with most of the soldiers, and the remaining ones who were barely holding on were finished off by Huang Quan and Fohsin together. Before long, the rain of arrows finally stopped, and no one on the walls could stand up to shoot anymore.

**Chapter 253: Resealing?**

Huang Quan flung a person aside and leaped down.

Seeing that the rain of arrows had stopped, the people below began to withdraw their vines and barriers, all of which quickly disappeared.

Huang Quan landed and walked back to the High Priest and Zhong Yu, saying, “It’s done.”

After speaking, Huang Quan looked at Jing Chen and said, “You were a big help. If you hadn’t played those two notes, Fohsin and I wouldn’t have been able to resolve this so quickly.”

Jing Chen shook his head. “It was the least I could do.”

“Are you okay?”

“I’ve been injured a bit, but I took some medicine, so I’m fine.”

Huang Quan nodded to show he understood, but then he thought of Feng Jiuyuan and said, “Feng Jiuyuan needs the help of the Buddhist sect to reinforce his seal.”

Under normal circumstances, Feng Jiuyuan shouldn’t have been able to spread his wings due to his seal, but he had partially broken it. By unlocking just a corner of the seal, he had been able to use a portion of his bloodline’s power to spread his wings. However, to fully restore the seal to its original state, he needed someone to suppress it, and there was no better candidate here than a disciple of the Buddhist sect.

The High Priest said, “I’ll speak with Fohsin.”

Huang Quan nodded in agreement.

The High Priest then approached the Buddhist disciples and spoke a few words to Fohsin. After listening, Fohsin glanced in Feng Jiuyuan’s direction and then followed the High Priest to where Feng Jiuyuan was resting.

Seeing this, Huang Quan didn’t pay any further attention.

Feng Jiuyuan had only partially broken the seal, so Fohsin didn’t need to create a new one—he just needed to use his power to re-seal that corner.

Before long, Fohsin had re-sealed the broken part of the seal.

Feng Jiuyuan looked at him and said, “Thank you.”

“The seal on you has weakened,” Fohsin said calmly. “In at most a year, it will completely disappear.”

Feng Jiuyuan nodded. “You’re right.”

“You need to have the seal renewed,” Fohsin advised.

Renew the seal?

Feng Jiuyuan chuckled. “There’s no need for Master Fohsin to worry about that.”

Fohsin gave him a look but said nothing more before standing up and leaving.

After Fohsin left, the High Priest looked at Feng Jiuyuan and asked, “Will you stay here, or will you return with me?”

Chapter 254: You’ve Brought the Person I Wanted to See

Feng Jiuyuan said, “I’ll go back with you.”

“Young Master, you’re injured,” the people of Jiuyuan City immediately tried to dissuade him when they saw that he was determined to leave. “There are fewer people on their side, and we have more here. We can take better care of you.”

“What care do I need after coming out?” Feng Jiuyuan replied nonchalantly. “Besides, even if you have more people here, none of you can compare to that one person over there.”

The people of Jiuyuan City fell silent. Although Feng Jiuyuan’s words were harsh, they were undeniably true.

Not to mention the High Priest, even that woman named Huang Quan on the other side was more powerful than all of them combined.

“I’m going over,” Feng Jiuyuan said, standing up. “We’re about to enter the next tower realm soon, so take care of yourselves.”

The people of Jiuyuan City responded, “Thank you for your concern, Young Master.”

The High Priest led Feng Jiuyuan back to Huang Quan’s group.

“The bodies are starting to disappear,” Huang Quan said as they returned. “The entrance to the next level is about to appear.”

“Boom!”

Just as Huang Quan finished speaking, there was a loud crash as the walls surrounding them suddenly collapsed.

“What the hell? What’s going on?”

“Why did it suddenly collapse?”

The sudden fall of the walls caused everyone to cry out in surprise.

The High Priest quickly formed a seal, raising a barrier that protected everyone inside.

“Rumble!”

As the high walls crumbled, stones fell to the ground, kicking up clouds of dust.

Amidst the billowing dust, the massive stones on the ground began to disappear, and the dust gradually settled.

The scene before them became clear, and when they looked up, they found themselves standing in a large plaza. Along the edges of the plaza were many statues, some in human form, others in the shape of beasts.

The statues lined the sides of the plaza, and in the center was a staircase.

At the top of the staircase was a smaller plaza, where four black pillars stood.

Seeing the pillars, Huang Quan said, “We’ve arrived.”

The High Priest asked, “Arrived where?”

“You’ve Brought the Person I Wanted to See.”

“The most crucial level has arrived.”

Upon hearing this, the High Priest frowned, about to say something when suddenly, a man appeared at the top of the stairs.

The man was dressed in a black robe and wore a mask, identical to the one who had appeared in the earlier images.

It’s him?

Everyone was a bit surprised. They hadn’t expected to see this man so soon!

But upon reflection, it made sense. Starting from the fourth level, if it weren’t for Huang Quan and Foxin, they wouldn’t have made it this far, let alone see this man.

“You still have one last level to pass,” the man at the top said as he looked down at them.

One last level?

Everyone was puzzled. “Haven’t we already reached you?”

“You are down there, and I am up here,” the man replied. “If you want to stand before me, you still need to come up.”

“Then we’ll just go up,” someone said and immediately began walking toward the stairs.

The man watched without stopping him.

“Boom!”

Just as the person was about to step onto the stairs, a statue flew at them. Unable to dodge in time, the person was hit by the statue and crashed to the ground.

Everyone else was stunned by this scene.

The man’s expression remained unchanged as he looked down at Huang Quan and said, “You’ve brought the person I wanted to see. You may come up directly.”

Hearing this, everyone turned their gaze to Huang Quan.

What did he mean by saying she brought the person he wanted to see?

Wait!

Realization dawned on them, and they suddenly turned their attention to the man in the black robe standing beside Huang Quan.

The only person who had appeared beside Huang Quan recently was that man in the black robe. But hadn’t she said that he was her brother?
