The Villainess’ Beloved Plan: The Struggles to Avoid a Doomed End

CHAPTER 013: The Villainess Becomes a Maid! 3

This was shortly before Randall’s servant went to report to him.

“Oh, this one-piece dress is so cute! If you look closely, it has small flower patterns!”

“Isn’t it? Dresses are nice, but there are so many cute outfits for commoners that have been trending in the castle town lately. I sent my maids to buy some, and they ended up liking them so much that they bought some for themselves too.”

“I get it! I want one too! Oh, this pink one-piece would be perfect for Lady Sophia!”

“I think this pale blue dress would look good on Isolte.”

“And this emerald green one would look great on Lady Alina.”

“I definitely want Orion to wear this black and white Gothic Lolita style dress.”

“Gothic lolita?”

“Something like this frilly one.”

“Wow! So this is what they call gothic lolita!”

Sophia and Orion were watching Isolte and Alina from a distance as they squealed over a dress that Alina’s maid had bought from a clothing store for commoners in the castle town.

“…Honestly, I’m not into Gothic Lolita style, no way.”

“Orion, I think that pink dress you’re planning on putting on me is pretty similar.”

“Are those really what’s trending among the common folk right now?”

“I wonder…? When I was living there, I wore simpler one-pieces, but maybe it was because my family was too poor.”

“So, what are you going to use that dress for?”

“I wonder what it’s going to be for?”

Alina arrived early in the morning and started spreading out the dress in Sophia’s room without much explanation.

Izolte, who has a weakness for cute things, got excited, and the two of them started making a fuss together, but Sophia and the others had no idea what they actually wanted to do with the one-piece.

Knowing Alina, it probably meant something significant, but based on the atmosphere of the conversation, it was sure that the one-piece would end up being worn. While Sophia, who usually wore dresses, was okay with this, she understood Orion’s discomfort about wearing a “Gothic Lolita” dress, especially since he typically wore shirts and pants.

Orion had also generally worn pants before being reincarnated into this world. It seemed he didn’t really like skirts, as Sophia had never seen him wear a skirt outside of his high school uniform. Suddenly being asked to wear “Gothic Lolita” would understandably be unsettling.

“Well, Lady Alina, I’m completely in favor of wearing that one-piece, but what exactly are we going to do with it?”

Feeling a bit scared to ask what Sophia and the others hesitated to, Izolte chimed in with the question.

While holding the emerald green one-piece that Alina had recommended, Alina chuckled with glee.

“It’s obvious! We’re going undercover at Crescent Moon!”

“…Yes?”

Sophia couldn’t help but look at her in surprise.

Didn’t Alina just say something amazing?

Could it be that she plans to infiltrate the Crescent Moon wearing that one-piece? It would be very conspicuous.

“You four girls, if you go into a store wearing that, you’ll stand out too much, there’s no way we’ll be able to investigate.”

Orion said plausibly, and Alina snorted.

“Oh, we’re not going as customers.”

“Then what will you be doing?”

“It’s obvious, we’re going to be waitresses!”

“…Wait, a maid café?!”

Orion put his hand to his forehead and sighed.

“Oh, I asked the owner of Crescent Moon if I could do a day of community service, and he agreed right away.”

It seems that he’s already gotten the owner of Crescent Moon to agree. Alina’s initiative is impressive. However, it’s clear that she’s acting for Sophia, so although she’s worried, it seems that she can’t say no.

“Now, hurry up and get changed into this! I’ll change your hairstyle to look like a town girl! Sophia’s face is well known around here, so I’ll change your face with this wig and makeup, and put on these glasses too!”

“Uh, okay…”

Receiving a dark brown wig and round glasses from Izolte, Sophia resigned herself to her fate while sighing.

Meanwhile, Orion continued to resist until the end, complaining, “At the very least, give me a simpler one-piece!”
