The Villain Dreams Of World Peace

Episode 13: Underground Prison

TW: SA

Darkness existed even in Sharan’s shining palace. It was a pitch-black underground prison, where Sharan and the three guardians confined the followers of Ur and maintained peace.

Unlike the sunlit palace, this place was deep abyss he would keep hidden away for the rest of his life.

The 5th generation of the Sharan line created even deeper darkness there.

The 6th Sharan had buried his secret here.

Sharan Kasal, the 6th Sharan, had no such thing as the eyes of Sharan. It was his brother who had inherited the legacy of the glorious name. However, this older brother did not have the golden hair and eyes that symbolized Sharan.

He had pale white hair and red eyes like a living ghost. The red eyes, which could not withstand light, suffered from being exposed to even the smallest glimmer. Those eyes that glowed red as if they were cursed were bound to belong to the dark.

A monster that couldn’t see light was born in the lineage of Sharan, the symbol of the sun. Moreover, he even looked like a demon. The first prince wasn’t named and imprisoned in an underground prison that not a soul knew about. He couldn’t be allowed to die. He, who had the eyes of Sharan, had to do his duty as the kingdom’s guardian and as Ur’s sentinel until the birth of a new heir.

The First Prince wrapped a black cloth around his eyes to endure the artificial lights of the underground prison that his brother had lit up to torment him. Darkness was his solace.

Darkness was a shelter that concealed his monstrous white hair and red eyes –  it provided comfort to the sensitive eyes that rejected light.

In the darkness, the First Prince could only see the world through Sharan’s eyes. At first, he could occasionally see the image of Kaiton Ur, but now he couldn’t even see that.

At first, He could still see Kaiton Ur, but now he couldn’t see him either.

The nameless prince waited quietly for Ur. There was nothing he could do, so looking at Ur, whose will to live shined in his fierce eyes, was his only source of joy.

A secret pleasure that no one should ever know about.

How could he, a Sharan, anticipate Ur’s appearance? He deserved to be called a monster.

He had witnessed how Ur turned people ‘s lives into a living disaster, making them live as neither ghosts nor humans. Yet, he secretly wished for Ur to use his power. It was the only chance he had to see the kingdom of Burlion that he was protecting.

“Ugh….”

The Prince shuddered at the touch of the woman who used his body at will. When his lower body didn’t respond, the woman became nervous and poured a sultry liquid into his mouth. It was the aphrodisiac he was always forced to take when such things happened.

It wasn’t until his stomach churned and his head became numb from the strong drug that he could reach the state of excitement the women desired. But it was only his body’s forced reaction to the drug; his mind was far away, searching for Ur outside the underground prison.

The smell of sweat, the sticky sensation clinging to him, the panting breaths, the lukewarm body temperature. Everything scared him. He felt a surge of nausea. He hated himself, and he hated the woman’s soft skin. But he quietly waited for his misfortune to pass. He didn’t resist. No, he couldn’t. It was partly because of the potent effects of the drug, but also because he’d lost all hope due to the one-sided violence inflicted upon him every time.

Would it have been different if there had been a moon?

In the dark dungeon with nothing, the moon was everything to him. It was his heart, his life. The moon was the only thing that supported his spirit. Only the moon acknowledged his existence.

However, Sharan, as if to laugh at his heart, brought women to him on pitch-black nights without the moon. They were chosen to create the perfect next generation to Sharan. They all had bright yellow hair and bright yellow eyes like Sharan, but their behaviors were all different.

Some women moved greedily, moving to undress him as soon as they found out who the trapped man was, while others screamed and trembled with fear and disgust. But the result was always the same – vain. Next came a new woman. The trapped man did not ask for the whereabouts of the missing women. It was because he was afraid that if he knew when and how they had died, he would not even be able to look at the moon.

“Hmm…”

This woman tore at the prince’s long hair and shook her hips continuously.

“Touch me here. It feels good. Huh? Squeeze here, Come on.”

The woman pulled the prince’s hand and made him touch her body. Even when the prince trembled and tried to withdraw his hand, her clingy grip did not let him go.

“Aa… it feels g-good.. Ah! Sharan, let’s go… I…”

“How vulgar.”

Sharan spoke languidly and cast a mute spell on the woman’s mouth.

“Who does she think she’s calling Sharan? Isn’t that right, Brother?”

Sharan Kasal swept his golden hair, his symbol, and smirked bitterly. He deliberately called the man “brother” with a tone full of contempt.

“If you’re Sharan, wouldn’t it be like a demon sitting on the throne? How funny that would be!”

Kasal’s voice, as he said the word ‘funny’, was mocking and cold. He seemed as if he was offended just by having to converse with a repulsive creature. His voice was filled with dry annoyance, as if he wanted to leave the place immediately.

The Nameless Prince bowed his head and turned away from the direction Sharan’s voice had come from. He wished he could hide his entire body, but there was nowhere he could escape.

“Can you finish this already? How long do I have to wait?”

As Sharan urged, the woman’s gestures became more urgent. The first prince felt a surge of shame from his younger brother’s voice which kept pulling him back to reality.

If only he could be drugged to the point of not being able to think. If only he could become a fool and not feel any emotions.

“It’s a problem since you’re growing more and more resistant to the medicine. Why don’t you pleasure yourself before I come? Then we can finish it right away. I provide you with meals every day and take care of this place for you. Can’t you at least do that for me?”

Sharan stared at the prince’s white hair, which fluttered every time the woman with dark skin moved. Aside from being pale himself, his hair, which had no color at all, appalled him no matter how many times he looked at it.

Sharan’s territory was a land of peace, prosperity, abundance, warmth and the sun.

Due to the aftermath of the chaos caused by Callahan Ur, the kingdom became disdainful of pale things that looked reminiscent of ghouls. It reminded them of the creatures that ravaged the kingdom. But for a brother with whom he shared blood to look like a demon – Sharan trembled with uncontrollable anger every time he saw the nameless prince’s pale face.

“If you want to end this hell, you just have to find Ur. You’re not hiding him, are you? Then you should know that you won’t be able to live here forever.”

Sharan’s warning was always consistent.

At that moment, the woman who was moving around with excitement even under the influence of the mute spell, peeled off the black cloth that was covering the nameless prince’s eyes

She thought his eyes would naturally be closed, but unfortunately, the unlucky red eyes she met were perfectly open.

“Damn it, how unpleasant…”

Sharan became more displeased and intensified the light that illuminated the underground prison. It was a strong light that even someone with normal eyes would find blinding. However, the Prince showed no reaction at all. Although he had a personality where he did not show his emotions openly, it was still strange, so Sharan looked over, and found his eyes had no focus at all.

You’re using Sharan’s eyes…!

Sharan focused on his brother after separating him from the woman who was rushing on him like a beast, as if she wanted to devour the pale ghost. Yes, the gaze he saw beyond was undoubtedly using Sharan’s eyes.

Sharan felt an unbearable discomfort seeing the prince who was looking elsewhere with an ability that should have been his own. He wanted to destroy those red eyes, that pale face, but he couldn’t, so he tore the woman apart instead.

He had put in quite an effort to find a woman with blonde hair, golden eyes, and dark tan skin, but it didn’t matter. Perhaps he was truly cursed, because no woman ever got pregnant with his brother’s child.

Sharan couldn’t believe that one of the strong pillars supporting the kingdom would collapse on his watch. That’s why he had to find and eliminate Ur even more urgently. If his lineage ended here, it wouldn’t matter if another king with Sharan’s eyes was born or not.

The woman was under a mute spell, unable to even scream as her body was torn apart. The fact that Sharan could use both mute magic and powerful offense magic at the same time meant that his magical abilities had already reached an advanced level.

Instead of having the divine treasure of Sharan’s eyes, Sharan possessed terrifying magical talent. His magical abilities alone were enough to earn the respect of the kingdom. However, to hide the fact that he didn’t have the divine gift, Sharan also concealed his magical abilities thoroughly.

The prince was looking at the outside world he longed for, unaware of the fact that the woman who was tormenting him was dead. The world seen through Sharan’s eyes was much more beautiful than what he saw with his own eyes.

A woman with blue hair and eyes appeared.

Her hair resembled the blue sky at noon, a color that he had never seen with his own eyes. It was an unfamiliar color. In the Kingdom of Bulrion, where warm colors were favored, it was a color rarely seen.

His gaze was captivated by that unique color, and even though he knew he had to locate her to send pursuers, he kept looking at her.

Then, something unbelievable happened.

“Your Highness, please don’t call the pursuers. I am a person who will help you. Please listen to me instead of calling the pursuers!”

The woman with blue hair that cascaded loosely down, with thin locks that stuck to her cheeks and shoulders, spoke to the empty air.

As if to talk to him!

It can’t be…

The only person who knew he existed in this world was his brother, who inherited the name of Sharan… Did his father and mother tell someone about him before they died…? No. No, that could never have happened.

His mother had never once come to see him, and his father had gone so far as to try to kill him in order to give Sharan’s eyes to his younger brother. There was no way he would have acknowledged him as his child later on.

“I know the prince is currently imprisoned in an underground dungeon.”

“!”

She truly knew him.

She was talking to him, addressing him – who never even got a name because he wasn’t even supposed to exist in this world.

Oh my god, there’s nothing more I want to do than save this prince and maybe hug him if he’s up for it. I hope Muriel does that job for us. Also, if Kaiton needs a hand in eradicating Sharan, I volunteer.

Okay this should also be one of the drives why Muriel would want to proceed with helping out Ur. I wan’t this unnamed prince to be happy! And I’m with you, Ami, I would also like to volunteer with eradicating this miserable fool of a king.
