Janice had a hard time getting out of the shock.

Delther ordered the maid to put down the warm tea.
“I realized, I can’t believe it’s broken in one go.”
There was no hope in her eyes.
“If it wasn’t for Lady Elle today, you’d be dead.”
“…I know.”
Janice clenched her fist. Again, it was Elle, not her, his companion.
What’s the point of a companion at this point?
“I want to know your heart, whether you want to get away from the royal family or my father.”
