“I have good news for you.” Alhandra, dressed in a bathrobe, walked in and leaned against the door.
“What?” Cliff turned back to look at him, soaking in the hot spring.
“Our pants are gone.”
The room was silent for a second or two.
“What exactly is missing?” Farison Enger asked suspiciously.
Alhandra walked over, sat down, and with a kind smile on his face, said word by word, “The spare pants we brought are missing.”
“……” Several Zerg went silent all at once.
Shang Ying, dressed in a black bathrobe, stood up and headed outside. After confirming that his pants were indeed gone, he gritted his teeth and muttered two words, “Shang You!!!”
No need to ask, he was 100% sure it was Shang You who did it.
When Wei’an and the others happily returned, carrying fish, they were greeted by their male fathers dressed in bathrobes with darkened faces and a smiling Papar Xing.
At this moment, Papar Xing was quite glad he didn’t share the habit of soaking in the hot spring, so his spare pants were not taken.
Noticing the strange atmosphere, Wei’an cautiously carried the small bucket and shuffled behind Shang Yan. Krillochuan and the others all put on their most obedient smiles, trying to get away with it.
Only Shang You not only didn’t notice anything was wrong at all, but also bravely rushed forward. “Male father, look! We brought back a big fish!”
Shang Ying smiled kindly, grabbed the back of Shang You’s collar, and lifted him up. “Where are our pants?”
“I used them to catch the fish, and they fell into the water,” He said matter-of-factly without feeling anything wrong.
It’s over!
Shang Yan silently turned his head, covering his face.
The midday sunlight lazily streamed in. At the dining table, Shang Ying and the others enjoyed a feast of fish, while Wei’an and the other cubs, who had brought back the fish, were lined up in the corner, crouching with buckets on their heads, looking pitiful.
Among them, Shang You received special treatment—not only was he balancing a bucket on his head, but he also had two more hanging from his hands.
Being treated specially, he did not feel that it was punishment at all, but rather that it was an affirmation of his abilities.
Shang Ying got a headache when he saw him like that. With the same education, why did his male cub become stupider as he grew older?
Shang You, whose stomach was rumbling with hunger, looked at his male father eating the fish they brought back, and said unconvinced, “You are abusing the male cubs, I’m going to report you.”
“Go ahead,” Shang Ying lazily raised his eyes to look at him. “But let me warn you, if any of those buckets fall off your head or hands, this palm of mine is coming down on your butt.”
Knowing his status as a male cub meant nothing to his male father, Shang You closed his mouth in frustration.
What had originally seemed fun to Wei’an lost its charm as he looked down at his growling stomach. Pitifully, he raised his head and looked at Alhandra. “Male father, I’m hungry.”
Alhandra waved him over. “If you’re hungry, come and eat.”
Happily, he set down the small bucket, waddled over with his short legs, and quickly climbed up onto a chair.
Seeing this, Naiman looked at his own male father. “You’re not as good as Wei’an’s male father.”
Farison Enger lifted his eyelids and glanced at him. “I don’t know if I’m as good as him, but if you say one more word, your little butt might not feel good later.”
Naiman also fell silent.
Seeing the hungry faces of his friends, Wei’an thought for a moment, then started piling food into his bowl. He then quietly climbed down from the chair, carrying the bowl, and went over to his friends, feeding them each a bite.
Shang You was very moved by being fed. No wonder he had recognized Wei’an as a friend—such loyalty!
When it was Shang Yan’s turn, he hesitated and was reluctant to open his mouth.
Wei’an, glancing around to make sure no one was watching, urged him, “Hurry up and eat.”
Shang Yan glanced at the male fathers behind him, who were shaking suppressing their laughter, and then looked at Wei’an, who thought he was being sneaky. Reluctantly, he opened his mouth and ate.
After finishing the food in his bowl, Wei’an pretended to scoop some more, then stood up and patted his stomach, saying to himself, “I’m not full, so I have to eat two more bowls.”
“Pfft!” Papar Xing couldn’t hold back and laughed out loud. When he saw Wei’an’s guilty eyes, he waved his hand, “It’s nothing, I just thought of something funny.”
“Oh.” Relieved that he wasn’t caught, Wei’an continued running back and forth with his little bowl, serving more food.
Shang You wanted more of this dish, Naiman and Cole liked that one, Krillochuan needed this one… Hmm, Shang Yan didn’t seem to want much.
After running back and forth five or six times, Wei’an finally managed to feed all his friends.
Alhandra and the others watched him busy himself and found it quite entertaining.
After finishing the meal, they took their muddy cubs to bathe.
Before the bath, Alhandra specifically asked Wei’an to turn around so he could snap a picture of the two mud prints on his butt to post online.
Completely unaware, Wei’an obediently let his male father bathe him.
“Male father,” Wei’an suddenly remembered something, “Do we still have some fish left?”
“Why?” Alhandra asked as he carefully washed his hair.
“The fish was given to us by Chu Yi. I want to share some with him.”
“It’s all gone.” Alhandra, who had long known they couldn’t possibly catch all that fish on their own, replied, “I’ll have the kitchen prepare a similar one for you to take to him later.”
Wei’an shook his head and pointed to himself, “Wei’an will give it.”
Alhandra smiled, pleased with the bubbles he had shaped on Wei’an’s head. “Alright.”
After the bath, Wei’an carefully carried a bowl of fish and ran outside.
Chu Yi, still catching fish in the water, immediately came out when he saw him.
Wei’an held out the fish with both hands. “Eat!”
“What’s this?” Chu Yi asked, puzzled.
“Fish.”
He knew it was fish, what he really wanted to ask was why Wei’an was bringing him a bowl of it.
Meeting Wei’an’s innocent eyes, Chu Yi swallowed his question.
He accepted the bowl, sat cross-legged on a nearby rock, and began to eat. When the fresh flavor burst in his mouth, he paused for a moment.
This was the first time he realized that fish could taste this good.
“Is it delicious?” Wei’an leaned in, eagerly waiting for his response.
“Mm.”
“Hehe.”
Seeing his happy expression, Chu Yi suddenly asked, “Aren’t you afraid of me?”
“Why would I be afraid of you?” Wei’an asked, confused.
“For example, aren’t you scared I might take you out of the Zerg and sell you?”
No one in the galaxy was unaware of what male Zerg represented. If he remained so unsuspecting, he could end up in serious trouble.
“Not afraid.” Without hesitation, Wei’an shook his head at Chu Yi’s words.
“Why not?” Now it was Chu Yi’s turn to be confused.
Wei’an gave him a look that said he was dumb. “Because female Zergs will not harm male Zergs.”
“But I’m not a female Zerg.”
“Then what are you?”
Chu Yi fell silent. He didn’t know what he was either.
Seeing him go quiet, Wei’an yawned, “I’m sleepy. Time for my nap. See you next time.”
With that, he reached out to take the bowl from Chu Yi’s hands.
Chu Yi blocked him, and under Wei’an’s puzzled gaze, slowly said, “The bowl is dirty.”
“Wei’an knows,” Wei’an replied, “that’s why I need to take it back and have Uncle Female Zerg clean it.”
Chu Yi finally handed the bowl to Wei’an, along with all the wild fruits he had gathered. “These fruits are sweet. They taste good.”
Wei’an took a bite and found they were indeed sweet. He happily put the fruits in his space pouch and ran off.
After Wei’an left, Chu Yi stood by the lake, touching the zerg patterns on his face as he looked at his reflection in the water.
In the hotel lobby, Papar Xing asked Alhandra in confusion, “Aren’t you afraid that Chu Yi might hurt Wei’an?”
Alhandra, lazily sprawled on the couch, replied nonchalantly, “You should trust that female Zerg don’t harm male Zerg.”
Papar Xing thought for a moment about the information he had on Chu Yi. “But he’s not a female Zerg.”
“He is.”
Alhandra spoke with absolute certainty, and Papar Xing was momentarily stunned before quickly understanding.
The Zerg are a race that lacks empathy for all other races except their own. If Chu Yi weren’t a female zerg, there was no way he could have entered a Zerg planet just because of pity, let alone stayed without any time restrictions.
So, Chu Yi couldn’t be from another race; he was Zerg, albeit with the genes of a few other races within him.
“How did he end up outside?”
“It was because of what happened on Mist Star seven years ago.”
Seven years ago, a planet called Mist Star on the outskirts of Zerg territory was attacked by a group of star beasts from the Orc Race’s star domain. In the chaos, some newly hatched female cubs were kidnapped by poachers.
A month later, the Zerg traced clues and found the captured female cubs in an underground research facility on one of the Parmin race’s military stars.
That event triggered the furious Zerg to start a war with the Parmin race. If it hadn’t been for the intervention of a few other races, they would have really destroyed this race.
……
At this point, Wei’an was walking back with the bowl in his arms, standing under a very tall tree, looking up at the top of the tree, and saying, “I’ll go get the male father and the others to come.”
“No.” Shang You, who couldn’t come down from the top of the tree, stretched his neck and shouted, “If you ask them to come, I will be dead.”
“Why are you up in the tree?” Wei’an asked, puzzled.
Shang You pointed to the clothes hanging on the tree. “See those? My male father just had Chong Xin deliver them. I secretly hid them in the tree. Hmph, let him try punishing me again.”
Shang You, who was unconvinced after being punished, deliberately dirtied Shang Ying while he was giving him a bath. Then, while Shang Ying was bathing, he snuck away the clothes Chong Xin had delivered for him and planned to hide them in the tree.
Everything went according to his plan, except for one mistake: he couldn’t get down after climbing up the tree.
Wei’an opened his mouth in surprise. “Uncle Shang Ying will be mad.”
“That’s why you can’t call them.”
“Then I’ll go call Krillochuan and Naiman,” Wei’an, whose neck was a little sore from raising his head for a long time, rubbed his neck.
“No!” Shang You quickly shook his head. “If you call them, they’ll laugh at me.”
In his opinion, it is very embarrassing to climb a tree and be unable to get back down.
Can’t call the male father and Uncle Shang Ying, can’t call Krillochuan and Naiman either.
Wei’an thought about it and could only think of himself as the solution. He placed the bowl on the ground, rolled up his sleeves, stepped forward, hugged the tree trunk, and started climbing up.
From the tree, Shang You watched Wei’an slide down after each attempt to climb and suddenly felt a sting in his nose. What should he do? He was sure he would be stuck in the tree for the rest of his life.
After a long while, Wei’an, who had barely climbed half a meter, was panting heavily and returned to the ground. He looked at his hands worriedly. It seemed he didn’t know how to climb trees!
“Why don’t you jump down, and I’ll catch you,” Wei’an suggested, looking up at Shang You.
“It’s so high, I think I’d crush you if I jumped,” Shang You refused decisively.
“Then what should we do?”
Shang You frowned for a long time before his eyes lit up as he looked at the clothes and pants hanging nearby. He tied them together and fastened them to a tree branch. “I’ll grab onto the pants and slide down. When I’m close to the ground, I’ll jump, and you can catch me without getting crushed.”
“Alright,” Wei’an nodded, immediately finding a good spot and holding out his arms, ready to catch him.
With everything set, Shang You grabbed the makeshift rope and began slowly sliding down. Halfway down, the rope unexpectedly broke, and Shang You fell.
Wei’an gasped, opening his hand and shaking it from side to side, ready to catch him.
Just as Shang You was about to land on him, a tanned hand appeared and grabbed Wei’an by the collar, pulling him aside. Shang You landed safely in the arms of a Zerg who had suddenly appeared.
Quan Yi had just dealt with a few rampaging alien beasts in the forest and arrived in time to witness the scene. After setting Shang You down, he turned to leave, but Wei’an, now realizing what had happened, hugged his leg.
“Brother!” Wei’an exclaimed, his eyes wide with amazement as he looked at the brother he had never seen before.
Quan Yi lowered his eyes to meet Wei’an’s bright blue gaze. Though they’d never met, Wei’an had somehow recognized him. “Let go.”
“Oh,” Wei’an obediently released his grip, his eyes blinking curiously at him.
In the instant that Wei’an let go, Quan Yi dashed up to the treetops and disappeared.
Wei’an was stunned for a moment. Where had his big brother gone? He had vanished in a flash.
“Shang You!!!” A furious shout echoed. Shang Ying, still wearing a bathrobe, stormed towards them with a dark expression on his face.
Shang You shivered and immediately hid behind Wei’an, poking his head out. “W-what?”
“Where are my clothes and pants?” He said these few words with gritted teeth.
Shang You glanced at the clothes still hanging on the tree and the pants that had fallen on the ground. “I don’t know.”
Knowing Shang You all too well, Shang Ying immediately looked up at the tree. He had already been sure it was his doing, and now he had all the evidence.
Trying not to scare Wei’an, Shang Ying forced a smile, picked up Wei’an, and grabbed his mischievous son before walking back.
As Wei’an was lifted, he looked at the ground. “Uncle Shang Ying, I left my bowl behind.”
“No worries, I’ll have someone else fetch it later.”
“Okay.”
After returning, Shang Ying handed Wei’an over to Alhandra, gave him a gentle pat on the head, and then dragged Shang You into the room.
“Ow, ow, ow… someone help! There’s child abuse happening here!” Shang You’s screams were muffled as the door slowly closed behind them.
Anticipating this, Alhandra had already covered Wei’an’s ears to prevent him from hearing the commotion.
Wei’an squeezed Alhandra’s hand and said excitedly, “I just saw my big brother! He disappeared in a flash, it was amazing.”
Guessing that he had seen Quan Yi, Alhandra patted his back and took him to his room for a nap.
After the nap, Wei’an and Krillochuan went to find Shang You to play. When they entered, they found him lying face down on the bed.
“Why are you sleeping in that position?” Wei’an asked, curious.
Shang You waved his hand dismissively, with a look that said they wouldn’t understand. “This is a medal that represents my bravery.”
“Don’t listen to him. He just got a beating,” Krillochuan ruthlessly exposed him.
Wei’an covered his small butt in horror. “Uncle Shang Ying spanks!”
“Don’t worry, he only spanks Shang You, not you,” Cole reassured, patting Wei’an on the shoulder.
Hearing Cole’s words, Wei’an was relieved. Seeing that Shang You couldn’t go outside and play, he decided to sit cross-legged on the carpet. “We didn’t finish the mech model last time. Let’s keep working on it.”
“Okay.”
The group of friends gathered to work on the mech model, and the restless Shang You, gritting his teeth in pain, crawled off the bed to join in.
Meanwhile, on Femir Star, which was still brightly lit even in the deep of night, Quan Yan(first brother), enjoying a rare moment of leisure, saw a picture Alhandra had posted on his social media feed.
Looking at the image of Wei’an with two mud stains on his butt, a faint smile flickered in Quan Yan’s crimson eyes.
He’s grown a lot. And gotten naughtier too.
Cute! Thanks for the chapter.💕
I also thought this was really cute! Thank for the chapter as well!
