The Sickly Youngest Member of the Villainous Family

Tsymvf 74

Evan was looking at the garden from the spire.

Permetis Winchester, the woman who had confessed to him in earlier cycles.

Permetis had confessed her heart to him many times, and each time she had betrayed Othello.

Having never felt any romantic attraction to her, Evan had rejected her outright.

As the cycles repeated, Evan became distrustful of women. He didn’t trust men either.

People he had thought were noble or faithful ultimately revealed their true colors. He had seen it enough times to be sick of it.

“@#$%!”

Permetis, angrily leaving the garden, was swearing to herself.

Sasha Winchester, it looks like she’s done it again.

Evan watched Shasha, who was conversing with Jin. Her eyes were bright and alive.

And the sparkle that emanated from her brightened the dark estate.

“…….”

After a while, Shasha left, leaving Jin alone.

Jin turned his gaze to Evan on the spire. A chilly energy was contained in his deep green eyes.

Evan, with his deep blue eyes, responded to that gaze.

In every cycle, Evan always felt a sense of regret at that moment when he pierced Jin’s heart.

Taking the life of a strong individual always left a bitter feeling.

But Jin had always been the evil one, every time.

The heir to the Winchesters, cruel and ruthless as he grew.

“…….”

Jin, who had been staring at Evan with eyes so cold they could be mistaken for dead, eventually turned away and walked away.

As Evan knew, Jin wasn’t the type to issue warnings in this way.

Eventually, the winds of change would blow from the rising Erasinis.

Evan descended from the spire.

Carriages from the Winchester family’s, which would soon be the subordinates of Jin, were arriving one by one, where the children were sent.

And then.

“Evan!”

Sasha, who came out of the garden, was looking at him with green eyes.

Her cheeks were peach-like, and her lips somehow seemed happy.

“Long time no see.”

However, as always, she didn’t openly reveal her emotions.

“You know, it seems like something good has happened to both of us.”

In a calm tone that barely hinted at excitement.

“But here.”

Sasha looked at Evan’s wrist and raised an eyebrow. Then, with a cute hand, she grabbed Evan’s hand.

Coming down from the tower, he had a small scratch.

“How did this happen? You got hurt.”

She frowned as if warning him to be careful.

Evan stared at her for a while and then his lips curved.

“Heal me.”

“What? You can recover from minor injuries with clarity, right?”

“…Too much trouble.”

Sasha narrowed her eyes in protest.

“And I told you that using my power would hurt.”

“Not with your powers.”

Evan smirked languidly.

“You know, bandages and stuff.”

I don’t know what he was up to, but he asked me to treat him, and by the time I got him to my room, I was bandaging his wrist.

“…….”

A boy in appearance, but a man who has lived more than twenty years, twenty-seven times.

A hero who single-handedly brought the world back to life, but trusted no one easily.

“Okay.”

I taped it and put the bandages back in the box.

I made sure Maya couldn’t come in because there was something to discuss.

We’re still wearing Lysonia, so Maya could only look worried but couldn’t object.

“Cassilion Akada is coming.”

I announced to Evan as I stood on my tiptoes and placed the box on top of him, and then sat down on the sofa across from him.

Evan stares at me expressionlessly. I was hoping for a look of pleasure or surprise.

He didn’t seem impressed, either.

In twenty-seven cycles, Cassilion had been Evan’s companion on many occasions, but there had also been times when Phersetos had been resurrected from Cassilion’s body.

It was moments like that that made him lose hope in humans.

“So?”

Evan asked, sipping his slightly cooled tea.

“I need you to let him stay.”

Cassilion was very attached to Evan.

In the original story, their bromance had made the hearts of many women flutter.

So much so that he was candidate number one to be paired with Evan.

“Why.”

“It will be helpful. You know Cassilion’s abilities, right?”

Like the Affinizu of other families, Akada had an institution to restrain the head of the family, and that was the magic tower.

The position is filled by the person with the most intense powers, aside from the patriarch.

“I have no intention of bringing him in.”

But Evan gave an unpleasant response.

“At the last moment, he’s not helpful. Like everyone else.”

I grabbed Evan as he stood up.

“Now you have me!”

Evan’s eyebrows twitched at my voice.

I wondered if I was too self-conscious, but I continued speaking.

“Can you stop with the defeatist talk about the last moment?”

After giving Evan a stern look, I continued.

“Maybe this time we can work together and create a better future.”

Cassilion is just a kid my age. His powers had yet to be discovered, but Evan and I both knew.

That he was a rare genius, capable of developing incredible potions like the Elixir.

And the person who can keep Cassilion, who came for short-term training, tied down here is Evan.

“I need him.”

I uttered to Evan in the silence. The surface of Evan’s blue eyes reflected my determined expression.

I wondered if it was an illusion that his lips seemed to be twisting in an odd way.

After a moment, Evan sat back down.

***

“Is he crazy?”

I grumbled as I walked down the corridor. Evan’s words kept echoing in my ears.

“I don’t like it.”

“What…?”

“That guy is not good.”

What does that mean?

“Even if it takes time, it’s better to find another way. Since everything changed because of you, there’s a high chance that he could change too.”

Evan looked at me with a complicated gaze and then turned his eyes away.

“I oppose it because it could become more dangerous.”

It was a clear expression of refusal.

While he might be fine with failure and resetting, I needed a definite victory.

“Ugh, so frustrating.”

In the original work and in Evan’s memories of repeated regressions, Cassilion Akada is an extremely tricky individual.

He’s the kind of pretty trash that can’t be tamed unless it’s Evan dealing with him.

However, he is also a person with a lot of usefulness.

I turned the corner with a mixture of annoyance and distress.

At the end of the long corridor, the sun was shining, and I could see a small figure in the shadows.

A child about my age, wearing an Akada dress. Her hair, reaching down to her waist, shone brightly like the sun.

When I walked up to her, the girl looked up, revealing eyes with a reddish-purple mix.

She hesitated for a moment before opening her mouth.

“Unni, um… I got lost.”
T/n: “Unni” (언니) is a Korean term used by females to refer to an older sister or a female friend who is older than them. It’s a term of endearment and respect.

Cassilion Akada.

The rising star who would eventually become the youngest Magic Tower Lord.

However, her fame as a prodigy would be accompanied by a mischievous personality, leaving a notorious reputation in the empire.

It was my first encounter with the girl—no, the boy.

After a brief pause, I spoke.

“I’m not your Unni.”

Cassilion blinked his red eyes and tilted his head.

“I’m the same age as you. Call me Sasha Winchester.”

When feeling uneasy, a direct approach is the best. And since he’s young, he might be a little naive.

During such times, building camaraderie by offering help might work even without Evan…

“Lies.”

As Cassilion took a step back from me, an instant sense of wariness crept into his violet eyes.

“I can’t trust someone who lies. I was told not to get close to people who lie.”

“What?”

“You…”

Cassilion slowly raised his index finger towards me.

The words that came out of his mouth struck my ears firmly.

“You’re not a Winchester.”

He shook his head.

I couldn’t understand what he was saying.

“I’m Sasha Winches…….”

“But… But… You’re a liar, not a Winchester…”

Cassillion’s trembling index finger pointed at me.

“I can’t stand it…”

With an unexpected reaction, I didn’t know how to respond. Suddenly, Cassilion rushed toward me.

“……!”

Or rather, he embraced me.

“What are you doing!”

Cassilion, after sniffing around my frozen neck a couple of times, whispered in an excited voice.

“… I smell the scent of good ingredients.”
