Kisses and “Something Like That”
Riella had no idea.
She wondered about the Emperor, who hadn’t shown his face for over a week since the march began.
So, while thinking about when she would be able to see him, from time to time, if she could see Asion’s horse behind her, she would even have a foolish expectation that he might have come to call her.
But tonight the emperor finally showed his face. It was also at this time that he came because he was worried that she was sick. He even showed affection to her.
‘I never thought I would run away like this.’
“You know the way, right?”
What made Riella more embarrassed was the emperor’s mischievous attitude.
He could easily keep up with her if he ran at full speed, but he was deliberately chasing her a few feet behind her, smirking and teasing her.
“If you run like that, you’ll get tired. Ah… It’s okay you will sleep in the soft emperor’s bedroom later.”
“No, I don’t want…!”
“You don’t want to do that?”
“Yes!”
“I think you said the same thing before, and you ended up sleeping in my room that day…”
Riella slowed her pace at that point and turned to face the emperor. She was out of breath, but the Emperor looked so relaxed.
It made her angry and she bit her lip hard.
“Why is Your Majesty always…!”
“Always what?”
The Emperor tilted his head, an innocent look on his face, as if he really didn’t know what she was talking about.
Riella clenched her fists and furrowed her eyebrows.
It was an expression she’d learned from the emperor.
‘His Majesty looked very scary and dignified doing this, and now I wanted to look like him.’
“Why do you always tease me like that…?”
“Oh, stop.”
It was then, the emperor, who had been walking leisurely the whole time, suddenly approached with an urgent expression and grabbed Riella by the waist as she walked backward.
Thanks to this, Riella, who was caught, stopped running away and opened her eyes wide.
“I’ve been anxious and anxious ever since you ran without looking back.”
“yes?”
“The back. Behind you.”
At Herhan’s chin pointing over her shoulder, Riella looked back and gasped.
She didn’t know because it was dark, but when she looked closely, the road was cut off. Just a few feet later, a black wave was wavering over the riverbank, which seemed about knee-high.
‘If His Majesty hadn’t caught me, I’d be swimming in there by now.’
“Is there anything wrong with the water? Every time you see it, it seems like you are getting impatient for not being able to jump in.”
“It was a mistake. It’s different from back then.”
“Really? It’s the same river.”
“Is it the same river?”
“Yes. This is a tributary of Le Der.”
“ah…”
When Herhan slowly released her waist, Riella turned to look at the river.
As she carefully stepped forward, step by step, she began to notice the unique sparkle of Le Der.
It was a thinner stream than the one she saw last fall, but it was still beautiful.
“I see. Come to think of it, really. I didn’t expect to come back here.”
‘The ending point where my soul once died and disappeared, and the starting point where I met you.’
Riella stood at that spot and was greeted by the blowing river wind.
At that time, the wind from the river was cold and sharp as if cutting through the skin, but now the wind with a pleasant scent warmly wraps the body.
“How is it? Did you want to fall in again after knowing that it was the same river?”
Herhan asked. It was a question full of playfulness, but there was a genuine concern in it.
For Riella, even his voice was like a river wind in Le Der.
At first, it was so cold that it frightened her, but now it was so warm that she missed it and felt sad without it.
So, because of that warmth, Riella could forgive him for not visiting her for days. She could forgive him for all the ways he’d surprised her and teased her tonight.
And then, with a bright smile, she could have answered like this.
“I cried all the time. enough to get tired of.”
Riela stepped on the bank of the river and looked somewhere in the far river with her hands behind her.
The distant shimmering surface of the water was very beautiful, but somehow Riella thought it looked no more beautiful than the man standing next to her.
So she turned her head with a smile and looked at Herhan.
“Now I want to live hard. thanks to your majesty. because you gave it to me.”
Riella’s hair flowed like that of an ancient goddess.
The softly rising and falling eyelashes, the quivering lips, and those clear eyes that could clearly see what she was thinking made Herhan’s heart feel tight.
Riella, sparkling with hope, stimulated an indescribable impulse.
In the end, Herhan let go of the will that was holding him, pulled Riella, and kissed her.
Unlike her back and shoulders stiffened from surprise, Riella’s lips were soft and moist. Her skin was soft, too, but her little, plump lips were especially so.
Herhan wrapped his arms around Riella’s neck and explored her soft skin.
Finally, in the gap between her lips, Riella let out a breath that he didn’t know if it was a moan or a sigh. The weak, desperate trembling, like the fluttering of a young bird’s wings, seemed unbearably seductive to Herhan’s eyes.
Herhan pursed his lips again as if to swallow Riella’s hot breath in one bite.
During such a sweet breath, Riella’s body became weaker and slower.
“Riella…”
Herhan said, putting his forehead together with Riella’s.
He called Riella’s name, but in reality, it was nothing more than a meaningless moan.
It was hard to ‘think’ when your mind was burned by the momentarily soaring lust.
“Riella…”
The second time Herhan called out Riella’s name.
Riella’s forehead pressed heavily against Herhan’s chest. Is she confused by the impulsive kiss, or too ashamed to lift her face?
Heerhan hugged Riella tightly, then loosened his arms a little to look into her face again.
Then Riella, who lost her support, slid down.
“Riella?”
Herhan grabbed Riella’s waist, but Liella’s head and arms drooped down.
Riella was unconscious.
“Riella!”
‘why? What happened? Since when?’
Herhan’s body, which was burning with lust, became chilly as if someone had splashed cold water on it.
Herhan lifts Riella who has lost consciousness.

‘He should be back by now. Should I like this or not?’
Asion stretched out in the rocking chair with his arms crossed and let out a long yawn.
It has already been several hours since his lord left the room to visit Riella.
‘Should I go? I’m the Captain of the Guard, and I don’t think it’s a good idea to let his Majesty walk around alone late at night.’
It wasn’t that he hadn’t considered it, but each time the conclusion was the same.
‘Let’s be careful.’
It was enough for his lord and Riella Blinite to lose sight of each other without realizing it.
The parties were unable to approach each other, and even Asion, the smart person in this situation, couldn’t be that way.
‘Please talk about things you haven’t talked about. Well, you will see her in the imperial palace from now on, so make sure you organize your relationships well.. ‘
‘Ah…what if he is going to stay out all night’
That’s a little difficult, but the moment Asion raised his body from the backrest, his door rattled.
The sound was too heavy to say it was shaken by the wind. A large figure peeked through the lower doorway, and even the shadow of a large moon leaked in.
“Who are you?”
Asion very nimbly picked up the sword next to him. After lowering himself and preparing to respond to the enemy’s attack at any moment, he slowly reached for the doorknob.
Click.
As soon as the door opened, a large black body darted inside. Asion clenched his teeth and raised the sword, but then hesitated backward.
“Are you His Majesty?”
“Yes.”
“No, why did you come in so scary? I was scared for nothing!”
Asion burst out laughing and embarrassingly inserted the sword.
But Herhan was a bit strange.
He was breathing extremely heavily, and sweat was forming on his forehead.
“Your majesty. What happened?”
Even his complexion was bloodlessly pale. He can’t even begin to describe the hollowness in Herhan’s eyes.
‘Did he get that new disease from Riella Blinite, or did he see a ghost on the way?’
Whatever it was, he certainly didn’t look like he’d just come from an ordinary sick visit, and then Herhan spoke up.
“Come out.”
“What?”
“Follow me.”
“Oh, where?”
Asion hesitated. Today, for some reason, his Lord seemed as scary as the Grim Reaper.
“Where are we going? Is there anything wrong with Miss Riella? Is she not in good condition? Shall I call Carnel?”
Herhan, who had been walking while ignoring all of Asion’s endless questions, stopped at the word ‘Carnel’.
“Ah…yes. Call Carnel.”
He was dull unlike Herhan, and he was bewildered like Herhan.
‘Something had gone terribly wrong.’
Asion decided to listen to the explanation later, and then hurriedly woke Carnel up and brought him out.
However, the place where his lord leads them is not the room where Riella is staying, but the place where the carriage was parked outside the house.
He even went so far as to say that he had to avoid the eyes of the soldiers who were on duty at night.
This explains why Herhan was sweating as he stood in front of Asion.
“This is His Majesty’s carriage…right?”
And there it was. In front of the exceptionally large and shiny carriage, Asion and Carnel tilted their heads.
The carriage is always empty because Herhan prefers to ride a horse.
‘Why did you bring the captain of the guards and a doctor instead of calling a repairman if there was a problem with this carriage?’
Asion and Carnel’s questions were immediately answered the moment the carriage door was opened.
“No, Riel—!”
“shut up.”
Herhan’s hand immediately closed Asion’s mouth.
Even though Asion was grabbed by Herhan with his mouth shut, he pointed his finger at the inside of the carriage with his eyes wide open.
In the meantime, the quick-witted Carnel calmly entered the carriage and began examining Riella, who was limp without asking questions.
“I think she’s fainted.”
“What else? Will she wake up soon? Why is that?”
“She doesn’t seem to have any special trauma, but could you elaborate on the circumstances when she collapsed?”
“That was, she was a little surprised…It seemed like she was out of breath…”
“yes?”
“Hah…I mean…”
Only then did Herhan let go of his hold on Asion. To be precise, it was that the power became weaker.
Asion took the opportunity to catch his breath and looked at the two of them.
The lord couldn’t even open his mouth while not even looking at Riella, who was lying down beautifully with a red face in the carriage.
“Your majesty. What are you doing here?”
“I didn’t do anything here.”
“Ah. So you came here after doing something else?”
“No…”
“What have you done?”
“….”
Asion’s eyes widened.
Contrary to the previous rebuttal, Herhan’s face was red as he was silent.
‘He did it, he did it.’
Asion and Carnel nodded their heads while exchanging glances without saying a word.
“I understand. Your majesty. If she passed out because of that, give her some water and let her sleep.”
“No. You don’t understand. It’s not like that.”
“Yes. You have to let her rest, don’t overdo it.…”
“I don’t do that. It’s not like that.”
Herhan protested vigorously, but when they asked why Riella fainted, he became dumb again.
Herhan argued with Asion for a while.
Whether they knew it or not, Riella’s chest, who was sleeping in the carriage, just went up and down smoothly and evenly.

Usually, the Emperor’s closest aides are rude or too cautious but these guys are really funny.
