The D-Class Hunter Became a Munchkin Saint in a Rofan

Chapter 9

The rain, which had been falling lightly, gradually began to pour down.

Did well?

When she swings her fist to hit the window that spoke like a person, Gabi’s fist passed through it beautifully.

People enjoyed the rain for the first time in a long time even though they were soaked in the rain.

Like the others, Gabi was also wet from the rain. She took off the coronet and brushed her wet bangs.

What is this, what about the deprivation of sainthood?

In this situation, she’s already on the verge of becoming the real saintess and be imprisoned in the church for the rest of her life.

Wow, it’s raining, what a dream come true.

Gabi felt like she’s already going mad.

When she came to her senses, she thought about running away, so she hurriedly tried to get out of the temple but unluckily, she slipped because of the rain.

“Gabi-nim!”

Simon, who was looking up at the raining sky like everyone else, hurried toward Gabi, who had fallen, but Gabi just turned her head and glared at Simon.

Simon, who ran to Gabi, hesitated for a moment because of her glare. So Gabi got up on herself and quickly left the temple.

Sissi… You bitch…!

She wanted to scream and curse, but Gabi gritted her teeth and quickly walked back to the church to shelter herself from the rain.

She never thought that Sissi would harm her, but she’s really angry right now that she wants to hit him.

Truthfully, this isn’t something that she should fuss about, but she’s angry that the plan she made so thoughtfully was ruined because of Sissi’s action.

Gabi was banging her head against a pillar in the corridor when her heard Simon’s voice calling her name from afar.

Simon didn’t bring her here with bad intentions, and thinking about it, he didn’t do anything wrong, but she’s venting at him for no reason.

“You’re wet, you have to change your clothes.”

Simon was also drenched from the rain, but as usual, he talked to her affectionately and put his robe on her shoulder.

But Gabi didn’t care if Simon is being friendly or not, wet or not.

“Simon, you promised to let me escape, right? Can I run away now?”

Gabi looked up to Simon, gripping the robe around her shoulders.

She looked at Simon’s expression, his face tells her that he’s feeling sorry for her.

He hesitated without saying anything, as if he was troubled.

“I also think that the position of saintess is only good in name.”

“……”

Seeing Simon looking down and avoiding her eyes, Gabi already expected the answer he would give.

“But the rain that Gabi-nim made…”

“That’s not my rain!”

Gabi complained and grabbed Simon’s collar, but he only apologized again.

“I’m sure Erica and the others won’t let you escape… I’m really sorry.”

“Simon has nothing to be sorry about. My clothes are wet, I want to go back to my room.”

Gabi gave Simon’s robe back and went to her room helplessly.

As soon as she entered the room, Gabi threw the coronet into the corner of the room.

“Sissi.”

Whether he’s running away or just doing anything else, Gabi called Sissi, who’s the culprit behind all this.

“What did you do?”

Why? Gabi seems to want to be admired by people, so I helped you. Are you angry?

“Why am I angry? I planned to be stripped off my sainthood because I want to be admired as a strong person, not as a saintess!”

You deserve to be admired as a strong saint, do your best!

“You said you were against about me being a saint?”

But it looks interesting? (>ڡ)

“Ha, I don’t want to talk to you…”

Gabi already gave up at just glanced at the window. The rain is still pouring.

She took off her wet dress and went into the skill room to change into her pajamas, and returned to the church room.

She doesn’t want to face anyone so she had her lunch in her room.

As her stomach felt full, her anger ceased a lot. And the drowsy Gabi lay down on the bed and looked at her gun leaning on the wall.

When she returned here to get this gun, she should have left without a word.

“Oh, who knows. Maybe the sun will rise tomorrow.”

Yes, Gabi wasn’t the type to think long.

Gabi, who hadn’t slept for several hours because of the rain ritual, fell asleep even though the sun had not set yet.

* * *

Gabi woke up and opened her eyes. It was dark outside the window, so it might already be midnight or dawn.

Gabi stood up slowly and looked toward the window where the moonlight was seeping in.

Even though it could be said that she’s a daring child, she deserves to be depressed at times like this when she dies in a flower-like age and fell into a strange world. She even became more depressed since this time is when her emotions are quite sensitive.

If you want to run away, you should leave now.

Inside the quiet room, the sound effect of Sissi’s window echoed.

Gabi raised her head and saw Sissi’s words and clapped her hands.

“Why didn’t I think of that?”

Only a few people are awake during midnight.

Gabi opened the door slightly and peeked into the hallway.

“Gabi-nim, you’re awake. Do you need anything?”

“Ah, no.”

Even at this hour, two or three maids were walking in the corridor, probably taking turns to inspect the church.

Thinking that it would be impossible to escape this place in a normal way, she looked around her room and saw an open window.

Looking out the window, it seemed that if she jumped down to the second floor, which was a little higher than a normal building, her feet would hurt a little, but she wouldn’t die.

After she uttered ‘Gabi Kwon’s room’ in a way that the maids outside won’t hear, Gabi put the rifle and pistol leaning on the wall inside the skill room.

“I won’t come back for the second time.”

Gabi, who made up her mind, opened the window through which she could jump.

It’s a grass field below, so she won’t be hurt as much as when she fell into the ground. She hesitated as she was about to jump, but Gabi shifted her gaze to a tree across the window.

She put all of her belongings in the skill room, so she can go out just like this. She nodded once to herself and stepped onto her window sill. She then braced herself and jumped onto the tree on the other side.

“Oh no, I almost missed it.”

Gabi, barely hugging the tree, glanced down and let out a sigh of relief.

She used her arms and legs to go down bit by bit, and when there’s only a meter left, she directly jumped to the ground.

“Easy-peasy.”

After getting into her landing position, she brushed her hands and stood up. Gabi looked at the window from which she had jumped.

It was when she turned around and was about to go away…

“……”

“…Ah.”

Is this deja vu?

She felt like she was going through a scene that she had been through somewhere a few days ago.

And it’s even on the same person.

“…Gabi-nim, you’re awake?”

Simon stood behind the church, where she jumped out of her window and landed.

Why is he standing here under the moonlight this late at night? Why Simon?

Of course, from Simon’s point of view, Gabi, who jumped out of the window at night, would have been weirder, but she’s confident that she can escape, so seeing him here surprised her.

“Si-Simon.”

“Are you running away?”

She jumped on to tree to get out of the room and met the person she least wanted to meet.

She pondered as she stares at Simon, who stood blankly waiting for her answer.

Should she beg him to pretend that he didn’t see her? or should she just run away?

“Yes, so don’t even think of stopping me.”

Gabi didn’t want to beg so she chose the latter.

She thought that even if she beg, Simon would definitely say no, although he has the expression that he would listen to anything she ask for.

“Where are you planning to stay tonight?”

As she tried to pass by Simon, who hadn’t said anything, she heard a low voice.

“I will go to stay in an inn.”

Gabi tried to ignore Simon, but she answered involuntarily.

When she went to the inn last time, she wasn’t able to stay since she has no money. But she has it now because of the quests, so she can stay for the night.

“It will be difficult to find a room at this time. Why don’t you just sleep here?”

“That’s enough. If I were going to sleep here, I wouldn’t have jumped out of that window.”

“Then I’ll bring you some money. Please wait.”

“I don’t need it. I don’t want to owe you again.”

While Simon was about to enter the church again, Gabi took her steps.

But Simon turned around and walked in line with Gabi’s stride.

“Why are you following me?”

“I will take you there. Please let me do at least this much.”

“Then are you going to let me run away?”

“Yes, just today.”

Gabi looked up at Simon, who seemed unwilling to give up.

She grew tired of arguing so she sighed and headed to the city with Simon.

“What should I do? There’s no available room left.”

The innkeeper looked troubled.

“What should we do about this?”

Surprisingly, the innkeeper’s face brightened when she saw Simon, who came in late.

“Oh, so you’re Simon’s acquaintance? We have one more room left.”

“Huh, you said there’s nothing left.”

“It was because that room wasn’t given to just anyone.”

The innkeeper took out the keys and put them on the counter.

So Simon’s acquaintance is not just anyone?

“Is that room expensive?”

Gabi only has 14 shillings in her pocket, and she doesn’t know the pricing in an inn.

The innkeeper said that the room wasn’t for just anyone, so Gabi thought it would be expensive. Because of that, Simon, who was standing next to her, gave a small laugh.

“Are you laughing?”

“Don’t worry. It’s the same price as a regular room.”

The innkeeper was considerate of Simon’s acquaintance, so she only paid four shillings for her stay overnight.

Before getting the keys and going upstairs, Gabi said her goodbyes to Simon.

“See you again next time.”

“I will come back tomorrow.”

Gabi, who thought that Simon already gave up and let her run away, was dumbfounded.

“I told you that it’s only for today, right? I will come back tomorrow to convince you again.”

“So that’s why you followed me, to know my location.”

“No, haven’t you seen it? If it wasn’t for me, you won’t get a room at this hour.”

Seeing Simon’s unwillingness to back down, Gabi sighed heavily.

“See you tomorrow. Good night.”

Simon left without even hearing her answer.

Looking at the door where he left, Gabi shook her head and she went to the room on the second floor.

“Oh right, the skill room.”

It was then that Gabi remembered that she didn’t have to stay at an inn since there was no more quest that requires her to find a place to stay in. She can just sleep in her skill room.

She smacked the forehead of her dumb self. Now, Simon already knows her location.

She thought about leaving the inn now, but she lay down on the bed for a moment.

Without knowing, she fell asleep while thinking that she might ran into someone again while leaving the skill room. All that’s left is to leave this place early tomorrow before Simon came.

Hello everyone! I hope you're having a good read~
