The Boss is Reborn with his Little Fairy

Wen Ke’an knows that Gu Ting dislikes it the most when she jokes about her own body. Perhaps it’s because her health wasn’t great in her past life, so now Gu Ting is particularly concerned about her health.

“Touch your hair yourself. With this kind of weather, what if your cold gets worse?”

In fact, Wen Ke’an thinks her hair is fine, especially since she’s wearing a hat, so it shouldn’t become too cold.

But now Gu Ting is clearly getting a bit angry, so Wen Ke’an needs to find a way to appease him. She obediently touches his head and then looks up at Gu Ting with her eyes slightly widened, her expression somewhat exaggerated, “Hmm, it does feel a bit cold.”

“………”

Such perfunctory behavior is apparent without any sign of remorse.

Without saying anything, Gu Ting directly grabs her wrist and walks forward.

It’s already dark, the street lamps around are lit, and the lights of nearby shops are turned on one by one.

Wen Ke’an obediently follows him, and when it’s time to cross the road, she looks up at Gu Ting and slowly asks, “Where are we going?”

“There’s a hotel ahead.” Gu Ting looks forward.

“………”

Wen Ke’an lowers her head without speaking, and Gu Ting lets out a soft sigh, his hand once again grabbing her cold hand.

Just as he wants to speak, he hears the girl beside him mutter softly, “That might not be good.”

“Hmm?”

The green light ahead turns on, and Wen Ke’an looks up at Gu Ting and quietly says, “You’re not of age yet.”

“……..”

Gu Ting is now so infuriated that he’s run out of patience, realizing that this girl has become adept at getting under his skin, taking it in her stride.

Gu Ting lowers his eyes to glance at her, then takes advantage of the green light to cross the road, asking softly, “So you’re just going home like this?”

Wen Ke’an actually understands what Gu Ting means. Now that her hair is wet, it probably won’t dry anytime soon, and if she goes home like this, she will inevitably be nagged by her parents.

“I can’t go home.” Wen Ke’an seriously nods in agreement, “My parents would kill me.”

Gu Ting laughs, “Then aren’t you afraid I’ll scold you?”

“Anyway, you’ve scolded me many times already.” Wen Ke’an looks up at him, probably knowing he won’t do much when he’s angry, quite fearless.

“………”

The hotel is not far away, a decent four-star hotel.

Gu Ting lifts his eyes and says, “We’re almost at the hotel.”

“Hmm.”

As they approach, a couple exuding love comes out of the hotel, holding hands sweetly.

Wen Ke’an immediately notices the red marks on the girl’s neck, clearly indicating they had just done something indescribable.

Walking along, Gu Ting suddenly stops, and Wen Ke’an stops with him. Not knowing what’s wrong, Wen Ke’an looks up at him.

Gu Ting had noticed Wen Ke’an’s gaze on others’ necks. He licks his palate, smilingly saying, “Actually, I don’t mind, if you really want to do something.”

Gu Ting suddenly leans in close to her, saying seriously, “Despite me being underage, Wen Ke’an felt a rub against her face in the bustling street, turning red.”

She coughed lightly, avoiding Gu Ting’s gaze and pretended to be calm, “No, it’s illegal.”

Gu Ting chuckled at her serious demeanor, straightening up to look at her, “Oh, is it illegal?”

Wen Ke’an paused and pretended not to hear, continuing forward.

Entering the hotel, Gu Ting noticed her mask had slipped down. He gently pulled it up to cover her nose.

“Wear your mask properly.”

Wen Ke’an, a bit confused, asked through the muffled mask, “Why?”

Gu Ting smiled, “You look too young, I’m worried they won’t let me in.”

At the hotel front desk, Gu Ting presents his ID to check-in. Miss Wen, out of boredom, glanced around and noticed a rack of neatly arranged pink boxes—initially mistaking them for complimentary chewing gum from the front desk but then diverting her gaze after reading the label.

The attentive receptionist noticed her interest, humorously suggesting, “It’s cheaper if you buy it from us,” offering a box for a closer look.

Situations like these are not uncommon in hotels, prompting many girls to buy similar products from nearby pharmacies as a healthier alternative.

Wen Ke’an, unsure what to say, subtly squeezed Gu Ting’s hand, indicating she didn’t want him to buy it.

Understanding her signal, Gu Ting still proceeded to pay for a box via his phone, pretending as if it were intentional.

Wen Ke’an, realizing his act, innocently asked, “Brother, why buy this?”

Gu Ting’s hand paused, then calmly replied, “The box looks pretty.”

Wen Ke’an naively nodded.

As Gu Ting received the room card, he felt the receptionist’s gaze change.

The hotel room was comfortably warm, with both the air conditioning and the heater already turned on.

Wen Ke’an finally could take off her hat. It turned out she only thought the surface was wet. After all, she has a lot of hair, so a little dampness shouldn’t matter much. But now, it seems the water has seeped through; Wen Ke’an indeed felt her hair was quite wet.

Not just her hair, but some of the cold water had also seeped into her clothes. However, the temperature had now somewhat improved, it wasn’t very cold anymore, just uncomfortable sticking to her body.

If Gu Ting knew about this, he might get angry again.

Wen Ke’an was thinking about how to keep this from Gu Ting when she suddenly heard his voice from behind, “It’s warm here, take off your coat, then go take a shower.”

After Gu Ting finished speaking, he saw the girl standing motionless by the bed from a distance. He subconsciously felt something was off and directly approached her.

“I’ll do it myself.” Wen Ke’an knew she couldn’t hide it anymore. She glanced at Gu Ting, then slowly took off her coat.

The collar of the sweater she was wearing underneath was already wet, showing a large obvious damp patch.

Gu Ting had brought her to the hotel this time because he was worried her inner clothes might also be wet. At the hotel, she could take a shower and change clothes.

Before Gu Ting could speak, Wen Ke’an peeked at him like a kitten, then obediently headed towards the bathroom door with a towel and slippers, saying, “I’m going to take a shower.”

“………”

When Wen Ke’an came out after her shower, Gu Ting had just returned with her clothes.

“What did you do?” Wen Ke’an casually wiped her head with a towel.

“There’s a dryer downstairs, I dried your clothes for you.”

Gu Ting placed the clothes on the bed and took out the hair dryer from the bathroom.

“Come here, let’s blow dry your hair.”

“Okay~” Wen Ke’an ran over to Gu Ting in her slippers.

Wen Ke’an’s hair was soft and smooth. Gu Ting always liked to blow dry her hair.

But today was different, Gu Ting was seriously drying her hair without saying a word.

“It’s done.” After finishing, Gu Ting put away the hair dryer, walked over to the table to get the cold medicine he had bought for her from the pharmacy, and started to prepare it with a lowered gaze.

Wen Ke’an hesitated for a moment but still walked over to Gu Ting.

Gu Ting was mixing some medicine for her. Bent over, Wen Ke’an tilted her head to look at him and quietly asked, “Are you angry?”

Gu Ting didn’t respond.

Unrelenting, Wen Ke’an poked his arm and asked again, “Really angry?”

Still silent, Gu Ting finally nodded after a while, “Hmm.”

The medicine was ready, and the room was filled with its scent. Gu Ting handed the prepared medicine to Wen Ke’an, “Drink it.”

Wen Ke’an blinked, “I’ll drink it if you’re not angry.”

Seeing the playful look in her eyes, Gu Ting couldn’t hold back anymore and smiled at her, “You’re getting more and more audacious, aren’t you?”

“Yes!” Wen Ke’an replied cheerfully.

Seeing his smile, Wen Ke’an knew he wasn’t angry anymore and obediently took the cup to drink the medicine.

Her hair was dried, and the medicine was taken. It was already 7 PM, just about dinner time. Wen Ke’an had informed her family that she would be out for a while before coming home.

Since she often played outside with Chu Han, Wen’s parents, Wen Qiangguo and Liu Qing, agreed without much thought.

Wen Ke’an wanted to eat ramen, and Gu Ting had just brought her to a decent ramen shop. Just as they arrived, Wen Ke’an received a call from Chu Han.

“An’an, where are you?” Chu Han’s voice had a hint of sobbing.

“I’m outside. Where are you?” Wen Ke’an immediately asked.

“I’m also outside, at the park near First School.” Chu Han’s voice trembled.

“I’m not far away. I’ll be right there,” Wen Ke’an said, glancing at Gu Ting.

Gu Ting could hear Chu Han over the phone as well. Seeing Wen Ke’an look over, he nodded.

Luckily, Wen Ke’an was already nearby and it took only five minutes to get there. She kept the call connected as she walked.

When she arrived, she quickly spotted Chu Han sitting on a bench by the small lake. Not far from Chu Han stood a man, looking down at her from a distance.

As Wen Ke’an got closer, she discovered that the man was Xie Huaiyan, who was holding Chu Han’s jacket.

Wen Ke’an approached Chu Han, who had her head lowered and eyes red, clearly having just cried.

“An’an!” As soon as she saw Wen Ke’an finally arrive, Chu Han’s tone was filled with grievance.

“Why are you crying?” Wen Ke’an sat next to her and asked softly.

“It’s all because of Xie Huaiyan!” Chu Han gritted her teeth at the mention of his name.

“Did Xie Huaiyan bully you?!” Wen Ke’an glanced up at Xie Huaiyan, slightly frowning.

“Who does he think he is to control me and stop me from drinking?! I had already made plans with my classmates. Now I feel like someone who doesn’t keep their word!” Chu Han, obviously having had a bit to drink, had flushed cheeks.

Wen Ke’an knew Chu Han had a low tolerance for alcohol and got drunk easily. It was clearly not the right time to reason with her now since her emotions were running high.

“He snatched my glass when I tried to drink. My friends who came along were all stunned.” Chu Han said with a choking voice, “Everyone thinks he’s my boyfriend!”

“But he isn’t!!”

Wen Ke’an almost laughed at Chu Han’s indignant tone; someone who didn’t know any better might think it was the sorrow of unrequited love.

Xie Huaiyan, who had been silent, looked down at Chu Han and seriously said, “I could be.”

“No, you can’t!” Chu Han felt he was just trying to annoy her!

“I don’t want to talk to you.” Chu Han turned her head and buried it in Wen Ke’an’s lap, murmuring, “From now on, I am a mute!”

Evening in winter was still very cold, and Chu Han might have felt hot after drinking. She was only wearing a thick sweater. Wen Ke’an looked at Xie Huaiyan, who seemed somewhat upset, lowering his eyes without speaking.

Likely worried about Chu Han getting cold, he quietly walked to her side and carefully placed his coat over her, then stepped back a little to maintain some distance, silently watching her.

After Wen Ke’an comforted her for a while, Chu Han’s mood finally improved. It was getting late, so Wen Ke’an decided to take Chu Han home first.

Xie Huaiyan dared not get too close to Chu Han; Wen Ke’an and Chu Han walked in front, while Xie Huaiyan and Gu Ting followed behind.

The group walking along the road drew a lot of curious glances from passersby due to their strange dynamics.

“I’m home.” Chu Han stopped as they walked.

It was Wen Ke’an’s first time visiting Chu Han’s new home. Chu Han’s stepfather was wealthy, and her new residence was in a villa community.

At the entrance of Chu Han’s house, there indeed was a luxurious car parked. It seemed like Xie Huaiyan drove it there and hadn’t moved it since.

Looking at the Maserati, Chu Han murmured, feeling a bit downcast, “I just found out today that he even bought the parking space in front of our house.”

“Alright, stop thinking about him. Go inside, take a nice shower, and get some early rest,” Wen Ke’an urged.

“Okay.”

Before Chu Han entered her home, colorful lights suddenly appeared from a villa diagonally opposite to Chu Han’s house. Wen Ke’an glanced over and asked, “What’s happening over there?”

“It looks like they’re having a party,” Chu Han replied.

Just as Chu Han finished speaking, Wen Ke’an noticed a man in a suit walking out from a short distance away. The man somewhat resembled Gu Ting.

At that moment, Wen Ke’an paused in surprise.

Noticing Wen Ke’an’s distraction, Chu Han asked, “An’an, what are you looking at?”

Wen Ke’an shook her head and said, “It’s nothing.”

Gu Ting wasn’t coming over; he was standing with Xie Huaiyan at a corner not far away.

When Wen Ke’an returned to Gu Ting’s side, Xie Huaiyan had already left.

“Did he leave?” Wen Ke’an asked softly.

“Yeah,” Gu Ting replied.

After a moment of hesitation, Wen Ke’an looked up at Gu Ting and asked, “Does he also remember things from the past?”

Gu Ting was silent for a while before responding, “I didn’t ask, but it’s very likely.”

Since Wen Ke’an hadn’t eaten, Gu Ting took her to have a bowl of her favorite ramen.

After the meal, Gu Ting walked her home.

For some unknown reason tonight, the girl beside him was exceptionally well-behaved, quietly holding his hand while listening to him speak.

As they were about to reach home, Gu Ting stopped and was about to say something when he felt a soft little body nestle into his arms.

Gu Ting was momentarily taken aback by the sudden hug. He gently patted her head and asked with a smile, “What’s the matter? Why are you suddenly so clingy today?”

The girl in his arms didn’t speak.

Gu Ting asked again, “Are you feeling down?”

Wen Ke’an held him for a while before slowly loosening her grip and looking up at him.

“What’s wrong?” Gu Ting was at a loss due to her sudden action.

Despite it being nighttime, many elderly people in the residential area were still out exercising. When they saw this young couple embracing, they couldn’t help but smile and take a few more glances.

“The grandpas and grandmas around here are all watching you,” Gu Ting whispered.

Wen Ke’an looked at him for a while before lowering her eyes and slowly saying, “Can you come over and sleep with me tonight?”

Gu Ting was stunned for a few seconds by her words.

Then he saw the girl beside him look up at him again.

In the soft moonlight, Gu Ting gazed at her beautiful eyes for a moment and then slowly said, “How could I refuse such a request?”
