The Archduke’s Gorgeous Wedding Was a Fraud

TAGWF Chapter 12.10

Feeling awkward for no reason, I tapped my foot against the bathtub, but somehow, I slipped and lost my balance. Startled, I quickly tried to step down, but what I thought was the floor wasn’t…!

“Ah.”

Thinking it was Lacius’s hand, I grabbed it, but it turned out not to be his hand. I felt my face go white and then burn red. Lacius let out a hot breath and gritted his teeth.

“I was trying to be patient.”

“Heuk!”

“However, it would be hard for me if you do this.”

No, this isn’t fair!

I quickly let go of my grip, and before I knew it, the blood was flowing again, and Lacius let out a pained groan and now looked as if he were about to devour me. We’re in the bathtub, there’s no way to escape, and to be honest, I might have unintentionally stimulated him. The feel of him in my hands was too good to forget.

“There’s one position we didn’t do yesterday.”

“Ah!”

“Maybe this will feel better, Shay.”

His seduction was too sweet. It’s like a golden lion purring and showing off his charms. The problem was, it wasn’t the cute kind, it was the kind that made my thoughts melt and my hot breath spill out.

“Ah… ah… !”

The words keep falling apart, unable to form a coherent sentence. Water trickles down my jawline as I stand against the cold tile wall. It feels like being hit by a strong wave, or like being struck by lightning in a lake. Every time his hard, strong thigh pressed against me, I thought I was going to lose my breath.

I’m hoping the morning will never come. I hadn’t even had a sip of alcohol, yet such thoughts crossed my mind. Will this day with him go on forever?

Lacius was both strong and gentle. At first, he caressed me slowly, like climbing the middle of the highest mountain. Gradually, he urged me, pushing me to the boiling point. As we both felt good, he continued to tease me, and with each encouragement, I had no choice but to go beyond.

“There, it tickles…”

“It’s not ticklish, it feels good. You still can’t be honest. Here, like this…”

It’s getting hotter.

Lacius whispered as he slowly kissed me from my shoulder to my spine. Chills run down my spine with each peckish kiss that ensues. My body was still reeling from the aftermath of yesterday, so it wasn’t difficult to bond with him again as soon as I woke up.

‘Besides, I was so nervous yesterday that I didn’t notice… now we’re doing it again as soon as I open my eyes.’

Was it really this good?

While taking a bath, someone changed the bed sheets and blankets and left. But I don’t know if they came while we were taking a bath, when I was mingling with him or before that.

I lay back down on the clean bed, tracing the muscles of his chest, and giggled.

“I’m full and good. I don’t want to get out of here.”

“Me neither.”

Lacius squeezed my hand and kissed every finger. His lips are ticklish, and when I squirm to get away, he bites my fingertips lightly.

Starting from the inside of the wrist to the chest, my skin had no untouched areas. All covered with red desires. But Lacius’ remains frim and smooth. Feeling unfair, I bit his forearm.

“I want to leave a trace of myself.”

“You’ve left plenty.”

“No, not there, but on the skin. On your skin.”

I frowned in unnecessary embarrassment, and Lacius laughed lowly, his throat trembling. I bit his shoulder for no reason and acted grumpy.  Though it didn’t do much.

“But you know what…”

“Yeah?”

I’ve eaten, the sky is sunny, and my body is languid. It was a perfect day to be lazy. I opened my mouth nonchalantly, while he was playing with my hair with his fingers.

“It seems like my lifespan is replenishing when I’m doing it with you.”

Ttuk. His hand stopped stroking my hair.

“… … what?”

“I can feel it. The hourglass has filled up a little more. It’s faint, but… is this normal?”

I tilted my head.

Entangling with your lover will restore your lifespan. That was ridiculous. This had to be something special about Lacius.

‘Should I study the power of gods?’

Am I the only one with a case like this? That’s all I could think about, but apparently, he wasn’t.

“Ah, huh?”

Lacius suddenly jumped on top of me. I can clearly feel something snapping in him. Lacius looked down at me for a long time in that state, then he muttered as if he had made up his mind.

“Then we should try an experiment.”

“What, what kind of experiment?”

“If it will help you live longer…”

He said it slowly, sweeping me off my feet. I swallowed hard, realizing the implication in his gaze.

This was dangerous, wasn’t it?

“Let’s experiment to see how much longer you can live.”

Soon, Lacius pulled the corner of his mouth. From there, another long, long, hot journey began.

* * *

“Do you know what I gave up to get you!”

A piercing scream tore through the air. The scream that bounced off the damp stone walls was sharp enough to crush my eardrums.

“I abandoned my clan, my family, and my friends, all for you!!”

The red-haired beauty is angry. No, she was shaking with despair. She stared at the unresponsive wall, beat her chest, and cried out before laughing again. She must have gone mad, but no one was there for her.

‘Oh, this… This is the last scene I read in the original work.’

As I stood and watched, I suddenly realized that I was in a dream, and this is the contents of the original work I read. One moment I was rocking frantically in Lacius’ arms, the next I must have fallen asleep. Or passed out.

‘Oh, my head…’

Lacius really held me and didn’t let me go, even for a moment. I clung to him as if I were about to die, squeezing out a voice that wouldn’t come out, and then I thought I heard a thud and soon it was dark. Then, I’m here.

I stared silently at the miserable-looking Villainess #4. Yeah, whatever, let’s take a break here. I can rest here! The urge to rest surges through me.

“Lacius, Lacius!”

Of course, this dream world was terribly unsuitable for rest. Calling out his name until her throat was about to give out. That cry was so sad that when I read the original, I only bookmarked it and hardly read this part.

I roughly flipped through this scene and closed the book, so this was the only part of the book I couldn’t remember the lines from, but it seems my subconscious is working hard. The situation unfolded before my eyes as if I were watching a play.

The main character is Villainess #4. It’s her solo stage. And the only audience is me.

“’I’ve given up so much… Why can’t you be mine?”
