Time passed quickly, and in the blink of an eye, a week had gone by.
Wen Xiaoxiao had explained everything to Wu Xiaoyi.
The day after tomorrow, they decided to head to City B. After all, time waits for no one!
Wen Xiaoxiao moved long-lasting food supplies like rice, noodles, and vegetables from her space to the warehouse.
At least they would have something to eat in her absence, right?
As for seeds, Wen Xiaoxiao had plenty in her space, so she brought many out for Wu Xiaoyi and the others to plant.
Since the place was under reorganization, they didn’t go outside.
At this moment, Bo Yiliang walked over and hugged her, his movement natural and a little cautious.
“You actually don’t have to come back with me.” Bo Yiliang said in a low voice, burying his head in Wen Xiaoxiao’s shoulder with a somewhat gloomy tone.
Wen Xiaoxiao’s hands, which were busy packing, paused slightly.
Originally, she didn’t want to go with him at first. It wasn’t very convenient with the five children following.
Although Bo Yiliang was becoming more and more powerful, she couldn’t help but worry. Besides, they were connected, and if something happened to him on the road, she would be affected too.
Instead of that, she might as well go with him.
At least, if they got injured, there was spiritual water in the space to nourish them.
Seeing Wen Xiaoxiao silent, Bo Yiliang continued, “Xiaoxiao, do you like me?”
Although their relationship was very intimate, it felt somewhat unreal to him. He was afraid that it was just a dream.
“Do I like you?”
She pondered. Well, she probably did!
At least, he made her heart flutter.
He made her unconsciously dependent on him.
He filled her empty heart.
Initially, it was because of the children that she tried being with him, as the kids needed a father.
Since when did she start to have feelings?
Wen Xiaoxiao felt a bit lost. She didn’t know either.
Bo Yiliang didn’t hear her answer and felt a bit disappointed.
Wen Xiaoxiao naturally sensed his change in mood and that he was not happy.
She slowly turned her head and looked at his face buried in her shoulder. She thought, he must be unhappy!
“Li-Liang, I like you.” After saying this, her cheeks quickly turned red with shyness.
Seeing Bao Yiliang’s low spirits, she also felt inexplicably upset.
Fortunately, the children were playing outside with their uncle and didn’t witness the awkward scene.
Upon hearing Wen Xiaoxiao say she liked him, Bo Yiliang lifted his head. His deep and charming eyes brightened.
He hugged Wen Xiaoxiao even tighter, suppressing the joy in his heart, and tried to calm his mood. “Xiaoxiao, I like you too.”
Although the two had shared many intimate moments, they had never properly expressed their feelings to each other.
The children were happily playing outside, and the adults were busy planting crops in the fields, creating a harmonious atmosphere.
“Uncle, Mom and Dad said we’ll leave here in a few days to find Grandpa and Grandma. Are you coming with us?” Wen Mo asked, and the other four children also looked at him.
The children really liked their not-so-big uncle because he treated them well.
Because when they were tired, he would carry them and play with them. It was great.
Other kids envied them not only for having a handsome dad and a beautiful mom but also for having a fun uncle to play with.
Wen Runhan, listening to Wen Mo’s words, felt a bit overwhelmed but remained calm on the surface. “I don’t know yet. Go ask your sister when we get back and see what she says.”
Wen Xiao walked over and held his hand with his chubby hands. “Uncle, let’s go find Mom now!”
So, they all went back. Upon entering the room, they saw their dad pinning Mom against the wall and sharing a kiss.
Thanks for the update
It’s good for them express their feelings with words because people can be insecure even when actions clearly reveal feelings. It’s good to be forthright when it comes to relationships, regardless if they’re romantic or not. Bo Yiliang is just more expressive with his actions, which is why he’s going to get into trouble with Wen Xiaoxiao again, lol.
Thanks for the chapter! 😀
