Surviving in Apocalypse with Children

Xiong Xiao

Xiong Xiao looked at Ai Chi in Wan Jin’s arms and sneered. A hint of contempt flashed in her eyes.

Ai Chi, she had heard about this person from others.

This woman was originally engaged to Bo Yiliang, the eldest son of the Bo family, but because of her own greediness and ambition, she broke off the engagement.

Let’s not talk about the Bo family, let’s talk about the Ai family, who were previously protected by the Bo family and were simply lawless.

After losing the Bo family’s backing, those people whom the Ai family had bullied before appeared one after another, leaving the Ai family in ruins.

The rest of the Ai family members were barely surviving, and Ai Chi, fearing death, exchanged her body for a chance at life.

The once glorious Ai family’s young lady ended up like this, and who was to blame for all of this?

Of course, the blame fell on Ai Chi. She was the one responsible for this complete downfall.

Xiong Xiao had been close to her older brother Xiong Dan since childhood. Although Xiong Dan was ambitious, he treated his sister exceptionally well.

Xiong Dan looked at his sister staring at Ai Chi with contempt, and felt no reaction.

For him, Ai Chi was just a pawn, a dispensable existence.

Moreover, there were other women in the base who were even more beautiful than her, so naturally she held no significance for him.

Bo Yibing sneezed loudly.

He raised his hand and rubbed his poor nose.

He had no idea how many times he had sneezed.

Looking at his worried father sitting on the sofa, he asked, “Dad, what’s wrong with you? You looked so bitter and resentful.”

Bo Yu glanced at Bo Yibing with disdain, sighed, and ignored him.

Bo Yibing innocently touched his own head. He seemed to have made no mistake ah? Hadn’t he avoided the trouble? Why was his father ignoring him?

It’s getting increasingly difficult to understand this old man. He has no idea what this old man’s worried about.

Xue Yuna (Mrs. Bo) came downstairs and disdainfully rolled her eyes at her younger son.

Ever since Bo Yibing stopped working, he has become like an old man.

Of course, that requires having a job in the first place.

Xue Yuna doesn’t care much about her younger son now. She’s busy being excited about the arrival of her precious grandchildren.

So, she’s learning to make clothes for children at home.

After numerous attempts and a few lessons from the nanny, she can now do simple weaving. Although it was a bit ugly, it was still wearable.

Xue Yuna glanced at the worried Mrs. Bo and comforted him, “Enough, why think so much? No matter how much you think, things have already happened.”

Bo Yibing was confused by his parents’ conversation. He couldn’t understand what they were talking about. How come he was left in the dark?

Bo Yibing had been staying in the house for these past few days, and he didn’t come out at all. Even the meals were delivered by the nanny, so no one knew what he was doing inside.

Xue Yuna explained, “One of your father’s subordinates betrayed him and secretly transported the grain from the warehouse. Now, that person is staying in the enemy’s Jia You base.”

After hearing this, Bo Yibing opened his mouth wide in surprise.

He asked in doubt, “Mom, are you talking about Brother Wan Jin? How could he do such a thing?”

Xue Yuna replied with a bad tone, “Remember Ai Chi? She and Wan Jin are together, and it’s because of her and his excessive ambitions that things turned out this way.”

Bo Yibing was so angry that he said, “Dad was good to Wan Jin. He’s really a white-eyed wolf.”

“Isn’t that right?” Xue Yuna agreed with a mix of frustration.

    Thanks for the update

  2. M&M's says:

It’s ridiculous that Ai Chi has the gall to blame Bo Yiliang for her decision to sell her body for an easier life during the apocalypse. She makes it sound like she was forced into her current situation by him when she could have lived just like other ordinary people. I’m looking forward to her reaction when she learns that there’s a better base out there where Bo Yiliang is living just fine, lol.

    Thanks for the chapter! 😀
