Surviving in Apocalypse with Children

Establishing a Base

Before she arrived in this world, her home country had experienced numerous ups and downs.

Step by step, it had climbed to the summit and even beyond.

Z Country was on par with M Country, and Z Country has even surpassed M Country.

Originally, Wen Xiaoxiao disliked R Country, but later she developed a strong aversion to M Country as well.

Because what they did was so shameful and annoying.

Some of their practices were simply ridiculous.

Wen Xiaoxiao thought about the events that unfolded in M Country and what was happening here.

The outbreak seemed to have started in M Country, followed by Z Country, and then other countries, all experiencing the emergence of zombies.

Wen Xiaoxiao squinted her eyes. If it was a natural disaster, she could accept it. If it was orchestrated by M Country, then it means they had bad intentions.

If that were the case, what benefits would they gain?

Perhaps it is to be the overlord of one country, occupy the entire world, and suppress Z Country. However, what they did not expect was that their own country would also suffer.

What Wen Xiaoxiao didn’t know was that she and Bo Yiliang held the same thought.

Now she suddenly felt proud and honored to be a citizen of Z Country.

Throwing away these thoughts, Wen Xiaoxiao took out the base from her space.

She walked to an open area and placed it down, then it slowly expanded. The few of them stood still.

The houses went from the smallest model before gradually growing bigger.

They were sucked inside, yet there was no harm to them.

Wen Xiaoxiao widened her eyes, finding it unbelievable. She rubbed her eyes and looked again. She felt an incredible shock in her heart.

The abandoned houses, which she thought had melted away, had transformed into brand new houses.

This result left her astounded.

It was not only her who was astounded, but the others as well.

Pei Xi watched everything unfold in front of him and suddenly felt a bit surreal, but considering that it was the apocalypse, nothing seemed too surprising.

In the end, the base was established effortlessly.

Despite finding it a bit strange, everyone accepted it easily.

At this time, they were all in the base’s courtyard, and the RV was inside as well.

Pei Xi stared with wide eyes at the model resembling a house that began to enlarge. However, this was beyond his control.

Inside the RV, Cheng Yi was also astonished.

He suddenly had a feeling that he was following an extraordinary person.

The city wall stood hundreds of meters high, towering over and concealing the view outside.

In Wen Xiaoxiao’s mind, Peach’s voice rang out, saying, “Congratulations, Master, for establishing the base.”

“By the way, Master, as this is your first purchase of a base, a formation has been gifted to you. Survivors who wish to stay here will need an identity card. Just a drop of their blood on it will make them a member here.”

“Even if someone tries to snatch it from them, they won’t be able to enter and might even face a counterattack.”

“That great?” Wen Xiaoxiao was a bit surprised, not expecting so many benefits.

“That’s right, Master.” Peach said proudly.

“Also, Master, anyone entering must take a loyalty pill. It is beneficial for them as well.”

Peach kept chattering incessantly because it was too bored. It likes to talk, and not talking made it uncomfortable.

“Why is that?”

“Because!”

And with that, Peach answered confidently.

So now the apocalypse is most likely a failed ploy by another country? I wonder if the meteorite was at least true because such things can be easily verified by other countries. I also wonder if soon there will be spies from Country M so that the base IDs have more purpose in the story and how Wen Xiaoxiao will explain the existence of a base that popped out of thin air. I’m pretty surprised that others’ reactions to a base magically appearing are rather mild and that they accepted such a thing so easily, but considering the occurrence of the apocalypse and supernatural abilities, I guess it’s not that unbelievable to them to see other unnatural things. After establishing the base, they’ll still need to figure out food supplies and other necessities for the base inhabitants, though, so I’m curious to see how these problems will be addressed in the future.

    Thanks for the chapter! 😀

I think the story in itself is not bad but it’s somewhat lacking in details, World building, character building and story flow. It should be an early story of thé author.
