At this moment, Wen Xiaoxiao had already made a lot of cookies with various flavors.
After having lunch, Wen Xiaoxiao continued making cookies, and soon it was evening.
Having had dinner, the others sat on the sofa to ease their full belly. Wen Xiaoxiao looked at Bo Yiliang and the others and said, “Well, I need to talk to you about something. Follow me to the study.”
The others exchanged glances and followed Wen Xiaoxiao to the study.
Inside the study room.
The five of them sat on chairs and looked at Wen Xiaoxiao. Bo Yiliang spoke first, “What’s the matter?”
“I have a space. It’s quite spacious inside, and the storage room is limitless with a preservation function.” Wen Xiaoxiao said to them.
The others were slightly surprised but remained silent. They just looked at her quietly, waiting for her to finish.
“Inside the space, there’s a space artifact spirit that has just woken up recently. It wants me to save people, and in return, I can gain merit points and enhance my strength.”
After a moment of silence, Bo Yiliang asked, “Saving people is fine, but what about those who are coming back? How will they be accommodated?”
Wen Xiaoxiao took out the model of the base from the space and handed it to Bo Yiliang to see.
She said, “I exchanged this in the space shop using 10,000 merit points. It can accommodate around three hundred thousand people, and it will gradually expand with the increasing number of people.”
The others found it somewhat unbelievable, and Bo Yiliang shared the sentiment.
Wen Xiaoxiao added, “So, I’m telling you this because I trust you. When the rain stops, we will find a place to build this base and then save more people.”
“Right, can you notify your family?” Wen Xiaoxiao looked at Bo Yiliang and asked.
“It’s possible, but it might take some time.”
“That’s okay.”
Wen Xiaoxiao continued, “Let me show you around the space!”
In no time, a dizzying sensation hit them. When the four opened their eyes, they found themselves inside the space.
The scenery inside the space was breathtaking, with birds singing, flowers blooming, and a sweet fragrance of fruits. Some small animals were chirping, and little fish swam happily in a small river.
Qi Yan, Jiang Fuci, and Meng Qing were mesmerized. They thought living in such a place must be comfortable. Looking at the food, they couldn’t help but swallow their saliva.
It’s not that they are greedy, but every food here emits an enticing aroma.
Suddenly, they realized why the fruits they ate that day were so delicious. It was because they are all produced here!
Even Bo Yiliang, who had experienced and seen a lot in the world, was astonished. He suddenly felt that if he hadn’t come to find Wen Xiaoxiao, he wouldn’t have led a more comfortable life.
No wonder the five children are not only not thin but rather chubby and plump.
He suddenly felt that he was useless. His future wife was too amazing, completely overshadowing him.
Wen Xiaoxiao walked into a thatched hut, took out four bottles of Marrow Cleansing Pills from the shelf, and handed them to the others.
“Here, this can remove impurities from your bodies and enhance vitality.”
Although they couldn’t cultivate it, it still had significant benefits for their bodies.
Bo Yiliang’s ancestors were cultivators, so maybe he could cultivate too!
Wen Xiaoxiao speculated in her mind, hoping that he could cultivate. Even if he couldn’t reach high levels, setting up formations would still be more than enough.
“This is beneficial for your bodies. Eat it quickly. Maybe there will be some pleasant surprises?”
The four took the bottles and listened to Wen Xiaoxiao’s words. They walked to a place and sat down, then stuffed the pills into their mouths.
They silently endured the pain brought by the medicine.
Wen Xiaoxiao watched them from the side, ensuring that nothing would go wrong.
Thanks for the update
Thanks translator!!
Your welcome! 🐥 and Stephanie
Wen Xiaoxiao was more upfront about her space and abilities than I imagined, lol. I don’t know why the others wouldn’t be able to cultivate, though, since it’s not like cultivation is something that’s passed down by the bloodline. Having a better constitution for cultivation based on the bloodline is more understandable, but I don’t know about the ability to cultivate being only related to bloodline because even Wen Xiaoxiao’s cultivator ancestor was so many generations ago that there’s practically no close blood relationship to speak of at this point. I don’t know what kind of cultivation setting the author is using, but it seems to have nothing to do with spiritual roots or meridians like other cultivation settings, lol.
Thanks for the chapter! 😀
