Surviving in Apocalypse with Children

Heading to City B (2)

As for her, she still hasn’t awakened her power yet.

In the evening, the weather had become colder than usual. It was clear that it wasn’t yet June. Normally, the weather should gradually get warmer, but it wasn’t happening this year.

For the past few days, they had been planning their route to head to City B. Bo Yiliang had already managed to contact Mr. Bo through special channels.

City B’s base was ready, and it was split into two major bases. One was the “Future Base” established by Mr. Bo, and the other was the “Boost Base” established by other families.

Over the past few days, Bo Yiliang has awakened his special abilities. Similar to the abilities he had in the original book, he had mental power and lightning element power.

Bo Yiliang’s three good friends had also awakened their abilities. Qi Yan awakened fire ability, Jiang Fuci ice ability, and Meng Qing metal ability.

Even Wen Xiaoxiao had awakened her abilities, which included water and plant-related powers.

Aside from the eldest son, Wen Mo, who had awakened his power, Wen Heng had also awakened his power. It was wind ability. The other three children had not yet awakened.

Wen Xiaoxiao had progressed from the Foundation Establishment Stage to the second tier of the Advanced Stage.

On this morning, the family got up early to prepare for their journey to City B.

“Mom, are we really leaving today?” Wen Bei’s eyes were teary, and her big, watery eyes were fixed on Wen Xiaoxiao, waiting for her response.

Wen Xiaoxiao gently stroked her daughter’s head. She looked at her with heartache and said, “Yes, baby. We’re going to City B to see your grandparents.”

Before they left, when the others weren’t paying attention, Wen Xiaoxiao placed all usable items from their home in her space.

As they got into the car, Wen Xiaoxiao hesitated and looked at the house where she and the five children had lived for several months with complicated emotions.

The five children watched as the villa they had been living in got farther and farther away. Tears streamed down their faces uncontrollably. It was their home, and leaving it behind made them feel uncomfortable.

Jiang Fuci looked at the five downcast children and said, “Don’t you want to see your grandparents? They’re eagerly waiting for you!”

Wen Xiaoxiao hugged her five children and wiped away the tears in the corners of their eyes.

She comforted them, “My darlings, you’re already little adults. You are still crying at such an old sage, it’s embarrassing.”

Wen Xiao gently climbed into Wen Xiaoxiao’s arms and wrapped his chubby arms around her then said angrily, “Mom, I’m not crying! It’s my big brothers and little sister who are crying. They should be embarrassed.”

With tears still hanging on his eyelashes, Wen Xiao spoke in a sly voice.

Wen Xiaoxiao looked at him as he widened his big eyes, told lies, and laughed in amusement. Her hands gently brush his little nose. “Then, what’s on your eyelashes?”

The four children stopped crying. They fixed their eyes on their brother, who was nestling in their mother’s arms and saying mean things about them. Their gazes were unfriendly.

Wen Xiao’s big eyes moved around awkwardly upon seeing their unfriendly eyes and replied, “It belongs to my big brother.”

Jiang Fuci couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

Bo Yiliang’s lips curled upward as well. In these past few days, he discovered that his fourth son was similar to his silly brother.

Both of them were physically weak, they liked to tell lies with open eyes, and they also tended to speak glibly. The two of them are really silly.

Bo Yiliang thought to himself as he held Wen Bei in his arms, observing her cute little face, which bore a resemblance to Wen Xiaoxiao. He found her adorable.

In addition, he found that Wen Xiaoxiao, this little woman, was even more clever and charming than he had imagined after spending the last few days with her.

He initially thought that this little woman would be soft and delicate, but she turned out to be quite the tomboy and even a bit mischievous.

For some reason, he felt that it would be a good match if the two of them were together. She was like a Little Pepper, which perfectly matched his personality.

Wen Xiaoxiao had no idea that Bo Yiliang described her as Little Pepper.

But if she had known, she would probably give him a sharp look and retort, “Little pepper, my foot! Do you believe I’ll put a small chili pepper in your mouth and turn you into a fire-breathing dragon?”

    Thanks for your hardworking

  2. M&M's says:

Just three more children who need special abilities, otherwise it would be quite awkward and sad for them to be regular humans while their other siblings were superhumans, disregarding their cultivation abilities of course. The children already have fire and wind, so maybe the others will develop earth or ice or some other ability that the others don’t have right now.

    Thanks for the chapter! 😀
