Bo Yiliang looked at Wen Xiaoxiao and said, “Can we go inside and talk?”
Bo Yiliang looked at her with a pleading look. His voice softened, and he stared at her intently.
Wen Xiaoxiao was a bit overwhelmed. Looking at the man who looked so much like her son, she eventually made her way.
She said reluctantly, “Come in.”
The five children looked at Bo Yiliang with curiosity.
Wen Bei, who was nestled in Wen Xiaoxiao’s arms, squirmed a few times and said, “Mom, put me down.” Her voice was soft and sweet.
Standing at the side, Bo Yiliang felt his heart melt after hearing this.
Wen Xiaoxiao looked at her daughter whose eyes were stuck on Bo Yiliang and felt sour.
Although she was reluctant, she still put her down.
Although Wen Xiaoxiao felt a bit unwilling to admit that Bo Yibing was the father of the five children, people with sharp eyes could see it with one glance, not to mention her.
Despite only spending a few months in the book, she had already embraced the role of a mother.
But when she thought of the eager eyes of the children, her heart softened. She sighed to herself, “Forget it, if they’re happy, then she’s satisfied.”
After all, she had also longed for the love of her parents.
Wen Bei wriggled out of Wen Xiaoxiao’s arms and ran over to Bo Yiliang. She streched out her arms and called softly,
“Daddy, hug.”
Bo Yiliang, with his delicate features, high nose bridge, and tightly pressed thin lips, had a suspicious glint in his deep eyes.
The three people standing next to Bo Yiliang watched enviously.
They also want a soft and cute daughter like her, okay?
Bo Yiliang held Wen Bei in his arms. She was soft and smelled like milk, with her big round eyes open and looking around.
His heart, which had always been cold for twenty-eight years, melted in an instant. He looked at the four little boys who looked almost exactly like him. They were hesitating and not daring to approach.
The little boy in the lead had a cold and guarded expression, his face devoid of emotion.
Bo Yiliang realized that his sudden appearance had startled them.
He looked at Wen Xiaoxiao and said, “I’m Bo Yiliang. These three are my good friends, Qi Yan, Jiang Fuci, and Meng Qing.” Bo Yiliang introduced them one by one.
Wen Xiaoxiao looked at the three of them. Qi Yan looked even prettier than a woman, with delicate features and bright peach-blossom eyes. His height was 1.85 meters.
Jiang Fuci had a somewhat sunny appearance, with well-defined features and clear eyes. Looking into his eyes makes people feel very comfortable.
As for Meng Qing, he had a baby face, fair and tender skin, and looked very cute.
“Please, have a seat!” Wen Xiaoxiao said to the three of them.
The three of them sat down on the sofa. Bo Yiliang looked at Wen Xiaoxiao and said, “I’m really sorry for not coming to see you earlier.”
Wen Xiaoxiao looked at him and opened her lips, but soon closed her mouth.
Bo Yiliang continued talking. The chilling air around him eased a bit, and his whole body exuded tenderness. Even his stern face turned soft.
“Five years ago, I’m sorry for taking away your innocence. I couldn’t meet you earlier because I went on a mission. Then I was shot and was in a coma for a year. I only woke up recently and came to find you.”
“Bo Yiliang…”
This name seemed to be the big villain in the book. After the apocalypse arrived, Bo Yiliang gained two abilities, one spiritual power and one thunder power.
In her memories, not long after Wen Xiaoxiao died, Bo Yiliang suddenly passed away. She didn’t know the reason for that. She hadn’t read the book further, so her knowledge about the content was only limited to a certain extent and didn’t include the latter parts of the plot.
However, hearing about him being shot and just waking up now to find her, Wen Xiaoxiao had a strange feeling inside that she couldn’t explain.
“Mom, I’m hungry.” Wen Bei’s voice interrupted her thoughts, and only then did she realize that she hadn’t made dinner yet.
Wen Xiaoxiao thought about her little cakes…
Thanks for the update
I figured he didn’t know about Wen Xiaoxiao and his children in the original novel, but I guess he did meet them, but most likely Wen Xiaoxiao didn’t acknowledge him in the original novel and when they died, he sought revenge and perished in the process. I’m just surprised he’s mentioning their encounter in front of the children, not that they would understand certain things, but it’s still a bit unconventional, lol.
Thanks for the chapter! 😀
