It looked even more wretched than what Wen Xiao had drawn.
Wen Bei had a great time turning the man with a beard into a pink mess.
On the sofa, Xue Yuna and Bo Yu, Wen Xiaoxiao, Bo Yiliang, Bo Yibing, and Cheng Yi all wore smiles on their faces.
Xue Yuna thought, “My grandchildren are really too cute.”
Bo Yu thought, “Not bad, they are the descendants of our Bo family.”
Bo Yibing thought, “These five cubs are too naughty. If I ever offend them, will my handsome face also end up like this?”
Cheng Yi thought, “They are so cute, really.”
Bo Yiliang: “…”
Wen Xiaoxiao: “My sons and daughter are truly outstanding.”
While everyone was commenting inside, they didn’t blame the kids for their thoughts. After all, they were not good people, so being painted on was well-deserved.
Seeing the little devil’s chubby hands coming his way again, Cheng Li was forced to say something to Bo Yiliang. “I’ll talk, I’ll talk!”
He didn’t want to endure the taste of another drawing pen in his mouth.
Seeing this, Bo Yiliang approached Cheng Li, crouched down, and asked Wen Xiao and the children to go to where their mother was. He then said, “Speak! We’re listening.”
Feeling afraid, Cheng Li swallowed hard and stammered, “We, our leader, wanted us to steal your children and threaten you.”
Bo Yiliang’s expression turned cold upon hearing this. He sneered, “With just a few of you, you still want to steal my children? Quite audacious!”
In the living room, after hearing Cheng Li’s words, Xue Yuna’s usually good-natured mother couldn’t resist anymore. She fetched an iron rod from a corner and started beating them.
Except for Bo Yu, everyone else joined in. In no time, they had beaten the captives black and blue.
Wen Xiaoxiao looked at them and regretted not giving them a good beating last night. What she didn’t expect was that they actually dared to think of stealing her precious children. It was really unbearable just thinking about it.
Seeing that they had been beaten enough, Bo Yu cleared his throat and said, “Enough, lock them up first.”
“Bo Yiliang, come with me to the study. Let’s discuss how to deal with the Jia You Base.”
Originally, Bo Yu had intended to let it go. After the New Year, he planned to take everyone in the base to the place his son had mentioned.
But the other side went too far by having thoughts about his grandchildren.
Since they dared to do that, they couldn’t blame him for being ruthless, right?
Bo Yiliang locked each of them in an unoccupied room.
Then he went to the study with Bo Yu to discuss how to deal with the Jia You Base.
Wen Xiaoxiao was also extremely angry. No, it should be said that everyone sitting in the living room was also angry.
Bo Yibing looked at his cute nephew and niece being taken away and thought that their house was probably going to be in chaos.
Thinking of this, he felt that the leader of the Jia You Base, Xiong Dan, was really not a human being. No, he was worse than an animal. At least animals had some sense of decency, right?
Although Wen Runhan was young, he understood that the people who tried to abduct his nephews and niece were not good people.
He also kicked them a few times, albeit with not much strength. But at the very least, it was enough to vent his anger!
“This is outrageous! Xiong Dan is really despicable, even worse than animals. They actually wanted to steal my grandchildren. I can’t just stand by and do nothing!”
Xue Yuna became angrier as she thought more about it. She hadn’t been with her precious grandchildren for long, and they dared to think of stealing them.
The stolen food from before could be forgiven since it was an unfortunate encounter.
But this time, it was unforgivable.
Mother Fu arrived after breakfast. She was drawn by the charm of the cute babies. Since her son hadn’t given her plump, fair-skinned grandchildren, she could only come to Mother Bo for that joy.
Initially, she didn’t think much when she did not have any grandchildren. Xue Yuna having grandchildren balanced things out for her.
As people age, they naturally like children, and she was no exception.
Unfortunately, her son was not a promising man. He still hadn’t found a wife, which really makes her worried.
With the already imbalanced gender ratio worsened by the apocalypse, there were even fewer girls. How could she not feel worried?
As soon as Mother Fu entered the living room, she found that the atmosphere was extremely strange.
Everyone was sitting on the sofa, even the children sat quietly next to Wen Xiaoxiao.
Wen Xiaoxiao and the others stared at Xue Yuna. Bo Yibing covered his face, not wanting to look at his mother, who was just like a shrew scolding others. It was so embarrassing.
Wen Xiaoxiao twitched the corner of her mouth. The woman in front of her looked so dignified. It never occurred to her that she would have such a side.
Xue Yuna, feeling the strange atmosphere around her, coughed awkwardly. Her gaze then turned to Mother Fu who just entered.
“You’re here!” Xue Yuna said dryly.
“What happened? You all seem quite strange!” Mother Fu looked at them in confusion.
When Xue Yuna heard her question, she recalled the incident before, and her anger surged once again.
She grabbed Mother Fu and made her sit on the sofa, recounting the events of the day.
“What? You’re saying those people from the opposite side wanted to steal our little treasures?” Mother Fu angrily slammed her hand on the nearby coffee table. Because she used too much force, she felt a burning sensation on her palm.
“That’s my family’s little treasures. What’s the big deal? Why get so worked up?” Xue Yuna rolled her eyes speechlessly. She was irritated by Mother Fu’s exaggerated reaction.
Wen Xiaoxiao was like a melon eater, watching the interaction between Mother Bo and Mother Fu. She held the washed apples in her hand and ate them, enjoying the show with her children and Wen Runhan.
Bo Yibing glanced at his sister-in-law and the children and found that the way they ate looked exactly identical.
But those boys looked exactly like his older brother when he was young. On the other hand, the only little girl looked cute and fair like his sister-in-law.
Aside from them, there was also a teenager sitting beside his sister-in-law who looked very similar to her.
Mrs. Bao seemed very upset, so Mrs. Fu naturally joined her on the sofa. “Tell me what happened.”
Mrs. Bao shared the story with Mrs. Fu, who got increasingly agitated. She slammed the coffee table in anger, feeling the sting in her palm.
Wen Xiaoxiao found the reaction amusing. Mrs. Bao seemed irritated by Mrs. Fu’s exaggerated response. Mrs. Bao’s elegant appearance contrasted sharply with her furious mood.
His sister-in-law looked soft and weak. So how could she be as strong as a tomboy like Brother Cheng had said?
She must have been protected by his elder brother.
Bo Yibing didn’t know that Wen Xiaoxiao’s delicate appearance was just a mask.
In reality, she was not inferior to any man and, if anything, she was even better than them.
Chengi Li choosing to confess just because he’s scared of Wen Xiao’s antics is just too unrealistic. Considering all the atrocities he mostly likely participated in with a leader like Xiong Dan, he should realistically be more fierce and cruel in his actions and thoughts; such a person doesn’t feel threatened by a child sticking things in their mouth or nose. It would have made more sense for Bo Yiliang and his subordinates to torture them into confessing the truth, which would have not only been believable, but would also not make them seem as ridiculous as they do now. It seems like the author’s storytelling skills have decreased yet again, lol.
Thanks for the chapter! 😀
