Father Fu couldn’t bear to see his wife sad, but this stinky son of his can tolerate it. Just because he felt and didn’t come back for a long time, causing his wife to cry, so he was furious. He would’ve loved to teach this kid a lesson and dismantle him for causing his wife to shed tears.
In his eyes, “The sky is big, the earth is vast, but the wife is the greatest.”
A pop sound echoed as the whip struck Fu Jiangci’s poor butt again.
“Ah, ah, ah…”
“Dad, it hurts, be gentle.” Fu Jiangci whimpered, feeling utterly wronged.
How come, as soon as he came back, his parents and sister were so indifferent to him?
Where are the usual greetings and questions? Where are the concerned words?
A father whipping his son, and what about next? Then look at his mother and sister, it was as if they were watching a good show.
Fu Jiangci felt he must have been picked up from somewhere.
Otherwise, why were his sister and parents treating him like this?
Holding his sore buttocks, Fu Jiangci’s jumping appearance looked quite comical.
His mother and sister, still holding their stomachs, burst into laughter.
Seeing Fu Jianci like this, the mother and daughter laughed.
Because the scene was too hilarious, they couldn’t help but imagine.
Fu Jiangci felt that he must be the unluckiest person in the world.
Taking advantage of his father’s whip not yet swinging his way, Fu Jiangci dashed into a room.
Panting heavily, his face turned slightly red due to the running around.
Compared to Fu Jiangci’s miserable situation, Meng Qing was much luckier.
When Meng Qing returned to his parents’ place, they gathered around him and checked him for any injuries.
“Son! You’ve lost weight.” Mother Meng said, placing her hands on his face.
Meng Qing twitched his mouth. He had clearly gained weight. How could he look thinner?
Meng Qing’s father looked at his son disdainfully, rolled his eyes, and decided to completely ignore him.
In contrast to the atmosphere in their three families, things were going exceptionally well at Bo Yiliang’s place.
The originally deserted house had become lively.
Wen Xiaoxiao introduced the five children one by one to Bo Yiliang’s parents. From the eldest child, second child, and so on.
“Come on, Grandma’s little sweetheart. Some and let Grandma hold you.” Xue Yuna said, squatting down with open arms, eager to hug the little ones.
Hearing this, Wen Bei dashed towards her Grandma Bao.
She was not afraid of strangers at all. Her little face looked excited, and her grape-like eyes glowed with happiness. It was obvious that she was happy.
As it was already noon, Xue Yuna sent the nanny to the kitchen to prepare lunch. She couldn’t let her precious grandchildren and daughter-in-law go hungry.
The atmosphere was lively until suddenly, the Zombie King barged in.
Its abrupt appearance startled those who hadn’t seen the Zombie King before.
Although Xue Yuan and Bo Yibing were outside, their eyes were always on Wen Xiaoxiao and the children.
As for the zombie king, they didn’t spare it a glance.
Xue Yuna held the children and stepped back cautiously, watching the Zombie King with lingering fear.
The Zombie King stretched its hands in front of Wen Xiaoxiao and said, “Hungry, hungry, delicious food, delicious food.”
Wen Xiaoxiao looked at the Zombie King throwing a tantrum and felt somewhat helpless.
“Alright, alright, can’t you wait? I’ll give you something to eat. I’ve never seen a zombie like you with such a good appetite.” Wen Xiaoxiao sighed speechlessly.
Then she turned to glance at Bo Yiliang and noticed him gazing at her with a pair of smiling eyes.
She gave him a fierce look, exasperated.
“Come on, let’s go get you something good to eat.” Saying this, she took the Zombie King out.
Seeing this, Xue Yuna asked, “Xiaoxiao, will it be safe to go out with it? What if you get hurt?”
“Mom, don’t worry, Xiaoxiao won’t get hurt. That zombie is the Zombie King. It has its own thoughts, and it’s also a foodie.” Bo Yiliang reassured.
“Yes, yes, Grandma, you don’t know. That Zombie King can eat several times a day, and each meal needs a lot of food. It can eat much more than a pig.” Wen Bei exclaimed excitedly in Xue Yuna’s arms.
Hearing this, Xue Yuna finally felt at ease.
I read this despite the reviews. Compared to other novels I have read this is pretty good. Waiting for updates.
Thanks for the update
Considering it’s still the apocalypse, I’m surprised the Bo family still has a nanny working for them, especially since money is useless at this point; unless they pay her in meals, since food is scarce. As for Meng Qing, at least he has a loving mother to welcome him, whereas his father could care less, lol. The only one who experienced many trials during the apocalypse, but still can’t enjoy concern from his family is the poor Fu Jiangci. As long as he can snag a wife for himself, he’ll finally be able to have a concerned family member, lol.
Thanks for the chapter! 😀
