Surviving in Apocalypse with Children

Furious

Mrs. Bo held the documents in her hand, and the more she read, the angrier she got.

Her gaze fell on Wen Xiaoxiao’s high school graduation photo from when she was eighteen years old, along with the related information about her.

The more she looked, the more guilty and disappointed Mrs. Bo felt. She lifted her head and looked at Chi. Her eyes were no longer as affectionate as before but instead filled with disappointment and anger.

Ai Chi was well-behaved and cute when she was a child, making people like her just by looking at her. Naturally, Mrs. Bo also liked her very much.

However, looking at the things she had done over the years, Mrs. Bo suddenly felt a little estranged from the girl in front of her.

The things she had done, Mrs. Bo wouldn’t believe that her good friend didn’t know.

Mrs. Bo’s gentle gaze turned cold.

“Leave! Don’t appear in front of me again.” After saying this, she no longer looked at Ai Chu. She was not only disappointed but also angry at her good friend.

She and Ai Chi’s mother, Jiang He, were high school classmates. They were both neighbors before she married Father Bo, so they naturally had a good relationship.

It’s just that she didn’t expect that she and her daughter would decide for her.

Ai Chi remained in her position and didn’t leave. She was looking at her with disbelief.

“Auntie, how could you do this? You promised me that I would be with Brother Yiliang, why aren’t you keeping your word?” Ai Chi questioned, her voice carrying a hint of harshness.

But she never thought that what she did would be known to others.

Mrs. Bo suddenly understood why her son didn’t like Ai Chi, and she too started to dislike her.

What she hated the most was being deceived and manipulated. Undoubtedly, Jiang He and Ai Chi made this mistake.

Would she forgive the mother-daughter pair?

No…

She won’t forgive.

Mrs. Bo’s face had already returned to its peaceful state. Everything Ai Chi had done was recorded clearly in the documents.

She threw it over and said, “Look for yourself.”

Ai Chi opened the documents, her face turning very pale.

Looking at Mrs. Bo, she hurriedly explained, “Auntie, it’s all fake, it’s all fake!”

As she said this, she ran to Mrs. Bo and tugged on her sleeves, trying to defend herself.

Fear and panic flashed in her eyes, and she tried her best to conceal them, but it didn’t escape Mrs. Bo’s eyes.

“Butler Li.”

Li, the butler, walked in from outside and said respectfully, “Madam.”

Mrs. Bo looked at Butler Li and said, “Please get this lady out and don’t let her in again.”

Butler Li took two people with him. He picked up Ai Chi, who was next to Mrs. Bo.

“Let me go, Auntie, you have to believe me, it’s not me.” Ai Chi retorted, not feeling any guilt about what she had done.

Mrs. Bo didn’t look at her anymore. She said in a calm tone that didn’t reveal any emotion, “Throw her out.”

Then, the butler led two people to take Ai Chi out.

The living room fell silent and looked empty.

Both of her sons didn’t live at home. The eldest son, like Mr. Bo, joined the military at a young age, and the second son pursued business. There was only her left in the house.

Ai Chi would visit her from time to time giving her, as a lonely person, some company.

Due to the special genes of the Bo family, there is typically only one child born in each generation. In Bo Yiliang’s generation, she gave birth to two, which made Bo Yiliang’s grandparents extremely happy.

But the second child, Bo Yibing, had a weak constitution.

When Bo Yibing was five years old, his grandparents passed away.

Originally with a thin family line, after the deaths of the two elders, there were even fewer people in the family.

When the eldest turned ten, he was training with his father in the military camp while going to school.

After graduation, he joined the army. Even if she disagreed, he insisted on going.

Because of the weak constitution of the second child, he chose to pursue business. So far, the business is doing pretty well.

The eldest and second child were often away. In the big house, only she was left. It was inevitable that she would feel lonely.

  1. M&M's says:

Finally a future mother-in-law that’s also reasonable and decisive! I like that she doesn’t allow her past affections to affect her rationale, acting based on facts rather than allowing emotions to cloud her judgment. She’ll be the most ecstatic knowing she has five grandchildren, lol.

    Thanks for the chapter! 😀
