**Special Chapter 2**
“Hyun-oh.”
Sua’s eyes widened in surprise at his appearance. She noticed his neat forehead, sharp nose, and the captivating lips that had once sought hers. Hyun-oh stood slightly askew, wearing a perfect suit as if he had come straight from work, and he smiled softly. His laughter was like music to her ears.
“Isn’t it risky? Walking alone on these dark streets at this hour?”
Normally, he would come to pick her up or send a driver. But today, she had things she wanted to think about and places to stop by before going home, so she had told him she would come home alone.
“I was going to pick you up, you know.”
“I had some errands to run after work. And it’s fine. There are so many CCTV cameras here.”
Although it had been a bit scary to hear footsteps behind her, it was still a safe neighborhood. White CCTV cameras guarded every corner of the alley.
“You can handle leaving work alone. Hyun-oh, you worry too much.”
“It’s not because I think you can’t leave work alone.”
He whispered, brushing aside Sua’s hair that swayed in the wind. With her blocked view cleared, she was faced with Hyun-oh’s handsome face. As he lifted the corners of his lips, he whispered.
“I just wanted to see you sooner, Sua.”
His fingertip traced her tender skin, sending shivers down her spine along with his sweet words.
“So I came to pick you up, Sua.”
Then he gently grasped her cheeks with both hands. Sua’s lips parted involuntarily as her soft flesh filled his palms.
Another kiss.
His tongue delved between her parted lips, exploring her mouth. After dancing around her tense tongue, his intertwined with hers.
It had been over two years since they got married, and countless moments had passed since she fell in love with him, yet whenever they touched, Sua felt like she had reverted to the girl she was in her adolescence.
Trembling, overwhelmed, and feeling like her legs would give way.
His hand trailed down her slightly curved back, relaxing her tense muscles. Sua whimpered at the intimate contact.
“Hyun-oh, we’re outside.”
“No one’s around.”
“But…”
There was indeed no one watching them. It was a dark alley, illuminated only by the yellow streetlights. But it still felt awkward. Even though it was a deserted place, she didn’t know when someone might pass by.
It’s not right.
“Maybe it’s because it’s been a long and tiring day. I missed you more than usual.”
He was cowardly. Sua couldn’t say anything when Hyun-oh spoke like this.
“Was it tough?”
“It was, but seeing you made me forget everything.”
Then Hyun-oh kissed Sua again. Once the man revealed his desire, he didn’t know when to stop.
[I don’t know how much I wanted you. I hated that part of myself.]
[…]
[Just wanting to hold you innocently, without knowing anything.]
Those words he had murmured once came to Sua’s mind. He had said he had desires for her, but he had restrained them. Sua was astonished as she watched him sweep her away with his actions.
Hyun-oh brought pleasure as he thrust into Sua’s lower abdomen. It was so intense that she felt weak at the toes.
But this was in front of her house.
It was a place where anyone could pass by at any time. She felt breathless and succumbed to him.
Just like always.
—
“…We were right in front of the house.”
Sua blinked her eyes groggily and glanced at him. Eventually, after sharing a deep kiss, Sua couldn’t stand still any longer and leaned against him, and that’s when he brought her into the house. Amidst the intense skinship, Hyun-oh tousled her hair, leaving Sua quite disheveled.
“You said it was okay to come in.”
As she blamed him with a reddened face, Hyun-oh raised the corners of his lips and smiled. His gaze was affectionate, as if saying how adorable she was.
“I’m sorry.”
“You’re always apologizing…”
Even as she spoke, Sua’s voice was tinged with a hint of laughter.
When Hyun-oh looked at her like that, Sua found herself unable to argue.
Because she liked him, because she loved him. Even though the public display of affection in the alley felt awkward, in the end, she couldn’t refuse him because she liked him. Fortunately, they were able to stop before causing any inconvenience to others.
Sua put down her bag and washed her hands, speaking as she did so.
“It took a while on the way… so dinner is a bit late. Please wait, I’ll prepare it soon.”
“You’re going to prepare it? Let me help.”
“No, I want to do it myself today.”
Changing her clothes, Sua prepared dinner for tonight.
Normally, they had a housekeeper, so Sua and Hyun-oh would prepare side dishes and simple meals while they were at work. But today, she decided to shop and prepare dinner herself.
Because she had something special to tell Hyun-oh, and above all, today was February 14th.
Valentine’s Day.
Some say Valentine’s Day was created for commercial purposes, but it was undoubtedly a day for lovers.
As someone who had to get married to Hyun-oh without dating, Sua found it joyful and exciting to celebrate such small events. So she tried her best to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, and today’s Valentine’s Day as much as possible.
She made pasta sauce by grinding fresh basil with walnuts and prepared a simple salad with baby arugula, cherry tomatoes, and ripe avocados. Finally, she took out the chocolate cake she made yesterday when he came home late from a business trip.
As she was preparing the cream to put on the cake, Hyun-oh appeared behind her and hugged her.
“A Valentine’s Day dinner?”
“Oh.”
“When did you prepare all this? You must have been busy with work lately.”
“It’s nothing special. I just added an extra cake to our usual meal.”
His palm massaged Sua’s tense shoulders, loosening them little by little.
“Mmm.”
“Look at you, so tired.”
“But, today is Valentine’s Day. I’m happy to prepare something like this for you, Hyun-oh.”
“If it makes you happy, then I’m happy.”
“… ”
“I only need you. Of course, I’m happy, but don’t overdo it.”
“Okay.”
As she was making the chocolate cream to put on the cake, she didn’t know there was so much sugar in it.
“I didn’t know there was so much sugar in it.”
“That’s what makes it sweet. If you put too little, it won’t taste good. Want to taste it?”
She picked some up with a spoon and fed it to his lips.
“How is it?”
“I don’t usually like sweet things, but it’s delicious.”
A bit of chocolate was smudged on the left corner of his lips.
“You got cream on your lips, Hyun-oh.”
“Where?”
His tongue licked the right corner of his lips. A small bit.
“Oh, not there.”
“Then?”
“Here.”
Sua raised her hand and wiped Hyun-oh’s straight lips. The soft mucous membrane brushed against her fingertips. Then he lifted the corners of his lips.
“What are you doing?”
“What… am I doing?”
It was just wiping. But his brow furrowed.
“You’re making it sound like a seduction.”
“It’s not a seduction.”
“Isn’t this a seduction?”
He raised his finger and traced Sua’s lips. Then he stood his finger up and ran it along the edge of her lips. A soft sound escaped her at his touch.
“Ah.”
Was this action so suggestive? She wiped him without any thoughts, but the sensitive mucous membrane pressed against her fingertips, making her breathless.
“Look, you’re making it sound strange.”
“It feels a bit strange when you say it like that.”
It was just poking his lips with her finger, but it made her feel flustered. Even though she hadn’t eaten chocolate, her mouth felt sweet.
“Does it feel strange?”
Hyun-oh chuckled softly.
“It’s not just that, I feel dizzy. I want you right now.”
And then he swallowed his words. It was clear he had intended to say something colorful. The man, who used to be impeccably gentlemanly, was now completely different after taking off his mask, showing a side of him that was entirely new. Sometimes, such changes were astonishing.
“I want you.”
