Chapter 2 Side Story
Even though Hyun-oh was always affectionate, Sua knew well enough that he wouldn’t finish in just 30 minutes once they were on the bed.
“Hmm…”
As Sua hesitated, he tilted his head. Mischievously, his eyes sparkled.
“If you really don’t want to, I won’t do it.”
But she did want it.
Even as she said that, Hyun-oh’s fingers slowly lifted the hem of Sua’s dress. As they gently swept up her thighs, his nails lightly scratched to avoid causing pain. A subtle sensation coiled in her lower abdomen. Sua quickly held her breath as if she might nod her head.
“Hmm.”
“If you tell me not to, I won’t. I always do what you want, you know.”
A bad person.
Sua’s lips were already half-opened and stained red. Between them, short breaths passed. Hyun-oh had returned from a business trip to Taiwan for three nights and four days. Every night, he called Sua, pouring out sweet confessions like, “I miss you, Sua.” Sua, too, felt lonely sleeping alone in the bed they used to share every day.
Like newlyweds, or rather, more passionately burning than newlyweds, four days apart was too difficult for them. So, Sua easily melted at his slightest touch.
What should I do? The dilemma didn’t last long. Sua couldn’t possibly tell Hyun-oh to stop.
“Hmm? Sua.”
With a sense of urgency, he spoke softly and this time, used his other hand to gently stroke her jawline. Tingles of emotion surged from her heart. Finally, Sua whispered in response to his dim voice.
“I can’t be late…”
Swallowing dry saliva, she barely managed to speak.
“It’s just 30 minutes.”
With Sua’s tentative consent, barely audible, Hyun-oh smiled triumphantly.
“Do as you wish.”
Whispering so, Hyun-oh pressed his hot lips onto Sua’s red lips, roughly, his tongue pushed through the gap. It was fast, without time to think.
“Ah.”
A red sensation quickly enveloped her. Tongue entwined with tongue. Soft mucous membranes yielded to his rough palate. Perhaps due to the limited time, his urgent hands swept over her body, stirring up delicate flesh without any special action.
“Umm.”
Beneath the bright sunlight streaming in, Sua panted uncontrollably. His touch was so intense that she didn’t even realize how embarrassing it was. Opening her legs as he desired, Hyun-oh’s solid body took its place. With an intensely lustful gaze, he unbuttoned her clothes, revealing her white skin.
As if worshiping her figure glowing in the morning sunlight, Hyun-oh looked at her.
“Sua.”
“…?”
“My beloved Sua.”
As sweet words poured out during the kiss, a corner of her heart melted.
Hyun-oh’s lips, like his confession, sucked on Sua’s lips. Bodies collided, and the bedroom soon filled with heat.
“I missed you.”
“…?”
“It’s only been a few days, but I missed you.”
He whispered earnestly, over and over again.
Hearing his voice in her ear, Sua felt it even hotter and more intense. Hyun-oh whispered incessantly. His fingers slowly trailed from her collarbone down to her perky chest, and further down to her abdomen. Despite just brushing against her, Sua’s transparent skin gradually turned red.
“Hyun-oh, please…”
It feels like I’m going crazy. Please lift me higher. At this rate, I feel like I’m going to die.
But she couldn’t even say those words she wanted to. Eventually, Sua clawed her nails into his strong back muscles instead. Leaving long, red marks, the two became one.
Short but intense blood red.

“…You’re bad.”
Sua, who had just opened her eyes thinly, barely whispered with a hoarse voice.
After the rough lovemaking ended, Sua lay weakly in Hyun-oh’s embrace, who held her as if she were a god. The brief but intense 30 minutes had left Sua’s forehead dripping with sweat.
“You finished within the 30 minutes you ordered, didn’t you?”
Sua wrinkled her brow at Hyun-oh’s retort.
It was true what he said. He did finish within 30 minutes to make sure she wouldn’t be late for work. But it was just as intense. It felt ten times more intense than usual. Sua, who had much weaker stamina, felt drained, unable to move an inch.
“It’s over, but I can’t get up in this state… How am I supposed to go to work like this?”
Her thighs were tense with tension, and her whole body was soaked with sluggishness. If she got up now, she would collapse. At Sua’s complaint, Hyun-oh chuckled and brushed her sweat-drenched hair with his hand.
“Then don’t get up. It’s a relief since I don’t want to send you to work anyway.”
His voice contained a hint of laughter.
I really don’t want you to go to work.
At his words, Sua slowly closed and opened her eyes.
Today was Friday, but Hyun-oh, who had returned from his business trip, had a day off today. Sua also took a day off to stay in his arms. However, today was the day her planned book was being published.
“I have to go. It’s the book release day today.”
“That Bali book?”
“Yes.”
“Congratulations. Your first book publication.”
And he lightly kissed her forehead. Sua turned her gaze away, embarrassed.
“It’s not even my book, and I’m not the author.”
“But it’s a book you participated in from author selection, planning, to editing. It’s impressive, Han Sua.”
Although she didn’t deserve such praise, Sua couldn’t help but smile at his encouragement. Then, the alarm clock rang loudly.
―RRRR
Sua reached out to stop the clock and looked at Hyun-oh, who was still holding her.
“I have to go. I’ll be back soon today. Let’s eat something delicious.”
“Okay, I’ll be waiting.”
But contrary to his words, even though it was time to part, Hyun-oh didn’t let go of her arm. He still held her tightly, restraining her.
“Hyun-oh, please…”
As she scolded him with a voice mixed with laughter, Hyun-oh narrowed his eyes and whispered.
“Do you really have to go?”
At his unspoken protest, Sua nodded with a smile.
It’s a pity, but now it’s really time to go to work.

“Sua, shall we have lunch and then continue? Aren’t you hungry?”
“I just need to check a little more before eating. You go ahead.”
It was 12:30, lunchtime had started, and the company employees invited Sua to eat, but she declined, saying she still had work to do. Today was really busy, and she was completely focused on her work. How much time had passed? After a while, she sighed, rubbing her tired eyes.
“Haah. Is this all I have to do in the morning?”
Sua meticulously checked the notebook spread out on her desk. It wasn’t the first time she had handled book distribution to bookstores, but today’s book was one she planned herself, so she didn’t want to make any mistakes.
“I’ve done this and that, and checked this as well.”
After making sure she didn’t miss anything, Sua sighed and closed the notebook.
“I’m done.”
Thanks to her busy work in the morning, she felt like she could relax in the afternoon. After finishing everything, she suddenly felt hungry.
“Should I eat something?”
At Yoon Dam Publishing, employees could use a self-directed one-hour lunch break between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. It was a little past 1 p.m. now. If she went out now, the busy office restaurants would probably be empty. But she didn’t want to eat alone.
While pondering, Sua’s phone, which she had casually placed on her desk, vibrated.
