Chapter 51
“Huh.”
Hyun-oh’s senses were even more acute than usual, penetrating deep within. Every cell of Sua’s body engraved Hyun-oh into her. As he entered deeply inside, Sua’s breath caught, her eyes widening.
“Ugh.”
“Han Sua.”
Hyun-oh thrust into her, his presence inside overwhelming Sua. His intrusion was so intense it felt like she might lose consciousness.
She felt overwhelmed, unable to speak. Just the act of breathing felt suffocating. He thrust into her again.
“Huff.”
His rough and swift actions kept pushing Sua’s waist. Her toes curled, legs trembling. When he sucked her partially parted lips, their tongues intertwined.
They were pressed tightly together, with no space between Hyun-oh and Sua.
Despite being closely entwined, it felt sorrowful.
Sua didn’t know what to do with the anger pouring out from him. He sometimes seemed cold, but he was more caring and kind than anyone. Yet now, he roughly pushed Sua, even when she showed no interest.
“Ha, haa.”
“Say something, Han Sua. Anything.”
Frustrated, he tore his own shirt apart. His solid muscles showed through the tears. Sweat dripped from his forehead down his neck, collarbones, and chest, as he moved vigorously.
“How about saying you hate me, that you find me disgusting?”
“…..Huh.”
“Or, maybe you actually like it.”
Creaking under the intense movements, even the expensive sofa seemed to protest.
“Like you said that day at the clothing store.”
“……”
“That you liked me. That’s why you’re like this…”
His hand wandered, persistently teasing Sua. When Hyun-oh’s fingertips gripped her soft flesh, a thrilling sensation surged through her body.
“Being excited like this.”
“Huff.”
Unable to bear it, Sua moaned loudly, her legs quivering. She tightened her muscles, feeling like she might die.
Too intense.
In the throes of pleasure, Sua wrapped her arms around Hyun-oh. She reached climax multiple times. The pleasure was so exhilarating and sharp that she could almost forget the current situation.
But he didn’t stop. Just as she was lost in pleasure, he delved deeper into her. At the same time, Sua whimpered.
“Ung!”
As Sua’s body tensed, Hyun-oh’s anger poured into her.
“Haah, haah.”
Exhausted, they collapsed onto the floor. They were still one. Without even daring to look at him, Sua whispered.
“I’m sorry, Hyun-oh.”
Her voice was barely audible.
But Hyun-oh seemed to understand her voice. His fervor subsided in an instant.
Sua still breathed heavily, looking at the side. The living room slowly blurred. Tears formed at the corners of Sua’s eyes.
Hyun-oh lifted her disheveled body and carried her into the bedroom, laying her gently on the bed.
Thunk, as she softly landed on the bed.
Tears rolled down her cheeks, staining the white sheets. Hyun-oh stood, looking at her for a moment before reaching out to stroke her hair.
“Even after all this time…”
“……”
“I still make you cry, nothing has changed.”
He whispered and left the bedroom. Sua buried her face in the pillow, stifling her sobs.
She couldn’t even understand why she was crying.
Was it because his touch was too warm?
Or was it because she had an intuitive sense that today was the end?
Or was it because she hated herself for having to make this choice?
Without knowing the reason, Sua silently shed tears.

The next morning.
As usual, Sua woke up early in the morning and got up.
Hyun-oh was not beside her. She got dressed and went out to the living room, but there was no sign of him. He wasn’t in the guest room where he stayed when he didn’t come into the bedroom to sleep either. There was no trace of him having used the bed.
Did he leave last night?
As she slowly left the bedroom, she noticed a note and a small gift box on the living room table.
“What’s this?”
These items weren’t there last night. Sua approached and picked up the note.
It was his familiar handwriting. Each stroke was pressed firmly, not a single one was wasted.
Sua stared at the note for a long time before finally tearing her eyes away and shifting her gaze to the gift.
What is this?
A gift…
As she thought about it, she remembered the birthday gift Hyun-oh had left in her bag. She had given him the worst birthday yesterday.
She should have just said they would talk about it later.
How foolish.
Even if the outcome wouldn’t change, there was no need for that. After blaming herself for a while, Sua nervously opened the case that Hyun-oh had left behind.
Thunk.
Inside the case were a pair of beautiful emerald earrings that sparkled dazzlingly.
“It’s beautiful, but…”
The shape seemed familiar.
With the gift box in hand, Sua hurried to the vanity. When she opened the drawer, there was a simple yet elegant emerald necklace.
A gift sent by Hyun-oh through his secretary, as he couldn’t attend Sua’s birthday due to being busy.
It was the same design as the necklace.
She had thought the secretary had just randomly picked it out. But in reality…
He had chosen and bought it himself.
Both the earrings and the necklace.
He hadn’t taken their moments together lightly.
Sua thought about the time they had spent together as she quietly gazed at the gifts. The blue hue of the emeralds pierced her eyes.

“The completion date for the Gumi factory has been set. We plan to hold the completion ceremony around July 29th, and we will confirm and finalize the schedules of the executives and the invited guests.”
“Okay.”
As always, the manager was reporting company matters to CEO Hyun-oh today. However, despite having a lot of work and being tired as usual, Hyun-oh didn’t seem normal today.
Sensitive to his change, not only this manager but most of the secretaries were concerned that the CEO didn’t seem himself today, to the point where they were worried he might collapse.
It was not an exaggeration.
“It might be better to go to Gumi slowly before the completion ceremony.”
If he had said that, the manager would never object to CEO’s instructions, but today was an exception. Hyun-oh was not himself to a degree that he seemed like he might collapse or fall apart if touched.
The manager, who had always looked after Hyun-oh since he joined the company, felt it for the first time. He ventured to speak up.
“It seems like you’ve been pushing yourself too hard lately. How about taking it easy going to Gumi?”
Hyun-oh looked up from the file in his hand.
“Manager, do I look that obvious?”
“No, it’s just that you seem a bit tired. There haven’t been any issues with the tasks you’ve handled so far.”
“…”
Despite the manager’s desperate attempt to comfort him, Hyun-oh lost his words again. After staring out the window for a while, he muttered as if talking to himself.
“I must be crazy to be shaken to the point of being exposed like this. It might affect my work.”
“No, it’s not like that. You just seem a bit tired. There haven’t been any issues with the tasks you’ve handled so far.”
“…”
In the manager’s desperate attempt to reassure him, Hyun-oh lost his words again. After staring out the window for a while, he spoke up.
“I was going to say this today anyway. I have a favor to ask of you, Manager.”
“Yes.”
“I hope you handle it quietly for me.”
And Hyun-oh turned around. His face showed determination.
