Suddenly, Divorce

SDLR Chapter 25

Chapter 25

Sua’s long eyelashes trembled at Hyun-oh’s words. Seeing her lips quiver with tension, Hyun-oh’s mouth also felt dry.

This is crazy.

At first, it was undoubtedly about restraining Sua from seeking a divorce, whether through physical affection or otherwise, but gradually, his own desire grew, masking his original pure intentions.

Neither knew who was falling for whose scheme.

Now that Sua was right in front of him, he wanted to torment her. He became increasingly childish and instinctive.

“Let’s go to the bed.”

He pulled her, uncertain of what to do, closer to the bed where she sat on the edge of the mattress.

Sua felt strange to him.

He wanted to protect her.

Since she was young, his gaze had been drawn to her. He always wanted to straighten her slouched shoulders, make light shine on her gentle face.

But on the other hand…

Now, seeing Sua sitting calmly, he wanted to mess her up. He wanted to toss her against the wall, torment her until her breath grew hotter and more labored.

When did this desire start?

Perhaps it was from the day she proposed marriage.

Or maybe it was a lowly desire he had felt even before. As Hyun-oh’s finger traced Sua’s neckline, her face flushed like a peach. Her skin reddened wherever his touch landed, like he had painted it with a brush.

“Hyun-oh…”

Sua whispered, unsure of what to do.

Hyun-oh swept her hair away several times.

Sua was a curious being.

She seemed like a ball that could bounce in any direction. She might have been delicate and gentle usually, but suddenly, she suggested marriage. She was the one who decided on divorce.

Now she even got a job in just one day. At the time of marriage, she chose to stay at home or work, learn whatever she wanted, based on Hyun-oh’s words, “It’s okay to do anything.” She chose to stay home, saying, “I shouldn’t cause trouble for Hyun-oh.”

And now, she’s getting a job.

It means her decision to divorce is not a lie.

A bitter sentiment passed by.

Hyun-oh’s fingertips swept through her hair.

He wanted to protect her. He thought he would protect Sua. But now, Sua, whom he thought of protecting, was trembling in front of him.

Damn it.

He felt like rough words would burst out any moment. Sua blushed deeply even though she had no sensation.

Sua’s skin was transparent. So when he touched her, it quickly reddened, then quickly turned pale. He enjoyed seeing her like that.

He pressed his lips against her flushed skin. In his affectionate thoughts, desire suddenly crept in. Until now, he had never touched her body with his hands, even after marriage.

A forced marriage.

He didn’t want to force her to accept his body either.

He tried to see her strictly as a younger sister. But more than forcing her into a marriage she didn’t want, he hated the idea of her forcing herself to divorce.

Sua is transparent.

As transparent as her skin, her heart seemed to be visible too. Her desire to run away after Han Dong Group failed was revealed.

“We’re an imperfect couple who never even had a marital relationship.”

Well, Sua said that. He knew it was all excuses. If he said he was letting her go because Han Dong Group failed, he knew Hyun-oh, who had a strong sense of responsibility, would never let her go.

So he was trying to tie her up like this.

Just brushing her lips against her forehead made her whole body shiver. Once their lips and bodies touched, he couldn’t bear the pleasure anymore.

Was he doing this to prevent divorce by engaging in physical affection, or was there another reason? Hyun-oh couldn’t tell for sure.

His lips traced from her forehead down to her round eyes, then brushed over her smooth cheeks and chin. Every time, Sua swallowed dryly.

He swept his fingers up her waist. He had told her to speak up if she didn’t want it, but she only gasped and breathed heavily without saying a word.

“So soft.”

If he didn’t know, he wouldn’t have wanted this so much. Intense desire ran through Hyun-oh’s body. He rolled up her clothes and gently laid her back.

As they moved up her soft body, Sua’s eyes widened.

“Oppa, are you, surely not today..”

She seemed quite flustered. Even the title of ‘Mr. Hyun-oh’ that they maintained after marriage was crumbling again.

“Not… today, right?”

“What do you mean?”

He teased, knowing exactly what she was talking about.

“That thing.”

Sua, who struggled to say the word ‘sex,’ was incredibly cute. Hyun-oh furrowed his brows in mock annoyance.

“We agreed on it.”

With that, she looked up at Hyun-oh with wet eyes.

She was so disheveled, yet so beautiful, and he felt like he might ruin her. Damn it.

Although he felt like harsh words would burst out any moment, he forced a twisted smile, fearing she might get scared.

“Don’t worry.”

“…”

“You won’t get hurt.”

“…”

“Trust me.”

Sua nodded at Hyun-oh’s words. Seeing her like that, he pursed his lips.

Sua is strange.

He wants to protect her, but he also wants to ruin her.

When he looks at her from afar, his heart calms down, but when they’re this close, it unsettles his mind.

Sua is that kind of presence to Hyun-oh.

Their soft lips met. Hyun-oh’s face in front of her seemed so vivid that it felt like it would melt away.

He shouldn’t love her.

He already loved her, but he shouldn’t love her more. The closer he got to her like this, the more he felt like his suppressed feelings would burst out.

Even though he knew it was his intention.

Every time their lips touched, his mind became hazy. This shouldn’t happen. Shouldn’t happen, but…

Their hot mucous membranes touched, and his rough tongue stimulated her inside. Sensitivity surged quickly.

“Hmm.”

Gentle moans escaped Sua’s lips as her usually affectionate husband, now in the night, continued without pause, his rough lips pressing hotly.

Terrifying.

It was so, so terrifying.

Rather than disliking the different side of him compared to his usual gentle demeanor, she found herself liking it even more. The more they touched, the more greedy she became.

Terrifying.

“I, I…”

Summoning her courage, she stopped his lips from delving deeper.

There were still about three months until the divorce. Although they agreed to have physical affection every day, they didn’t specify how far they would go. If they progressed like this already, who knew how far they would go.

Sua regulated her breathing and finally spoke.

“I’m going to visit the publishing company tomorrow.”

As if asking what she meant by that, Hyun-oh raised an eyebrow.

“It seems like I’ll have to wake up early.”

So there was nothing more to do.

She hinted subtly like that.

Would he get angry if she suddenly stopped the contact? Would he accuse her of breaching the contract?

But contrary to her expectations, Hyun-oh’s lips curled up slightly.

“Han Sua.”

His finger affectionately brushed her wet hair.

“You always wake up before me. There hasn’t been a single time since we got married when you didn’t.”

Even on usual days, Sua would wake up before Hyun-oh. Her excuse that she had to sleep early for tomorrow morning was somewhat clumsy.

Caught red-handed.

But her lie didn’t seem to upset him. Rather, he lowly chuckled, as if enjoying it. The sound of his laughter scratched at her ears.

“Don’t worry. Forcing you is not my intention.”

Then what was his intention?

As Sua quietly looked at his face, he whispered again with a smile.

“To become a perfect couple. So that you won’t run away. That’s my goal.”

“…”

“No need to be afraid.”

And then he stole her lips again. His gentle and affectionate lips kept seeping into her mind, clouding her senses.

***

9 AM at PY Chemicals.

It was the time when everyone was coming to work. Among them, the CEO’s secretary’s office was particularly bustling. With PY Chemicals recently securing many new business deals, there was a lot of work to be done. There were several matters that required Hyun-oh’s decision.

“Sir. Today, there will be a briefing with the managers of the Yeosu factory and the assistant manager of the Hanam factory, who are dispatched to the China factory, starting at 10 AM. At 11:30 AM, there is a video conference with the London branch. And for lunch, Mrs. Chairwoman has contacted us.”

As he flipped through the documents on his desk, Hyun-oh’s expression stiffened.

Mrs. Chairwoman.

It referred to the wife of PY Group’s Chairman, and also Hyun-oh’s mother, Mrs. Cha Myung-joo. As Hyun-oh’s face stiffened, the director continued speaking.

“She said she has something important to discuss.”

Hyun-oh pressed his fingers tightly against his eyes.

“What should I do? Shall I schedule the lunch appointment?”

Although he wanted to say he was busy, Hyun-oh knew too well that if he did, his mother would come barging in at the end of the workday.

“Let’s do that.”

“Understood.”

“What’s the afternoon schedule?”

“Until 3 PM, you’ll be dealing with regular tasks, and from 3 PM, you’ll participate in the conference prepared by the research institute.”

“Send me the related documents.”

“Understood. Is there anything else you need?”

As the director asked, Hyun-oh looked out the window for a moment. The rustling leaves in the wind were dazzling. Underneath, he naturally remembered Sua’s back as she walked yesterday.

What did Sua say she was going to do today?

She said she was going to the publishing company to talk. She also said she would officially start as a probationary employee.

Hyun-oh felt like telling her not to work.

The position of the CEO’s wife at PY Chemicals.

There were many external duties to attend to. So for the first six months after marriage, Sua focused more on Hyun-oh than her personal affairs.

He felt sorry many times, and if she wanted to work, she had the authority to do so.

But it was uncomfortable now that she was really working.

Because he wondered if all of this was not for the divorce.

“Director.”

Hyun-oh’s lips parted.

“Yes?”

“Yoon Dam Publishing, do you know about it?”
