The couple had a splendid wedding ceremony on the ship owned by Franz and were currently in the midst of their honeymoon, heading towards a southern island.
Although the ship was usually a warship, it had been furnished by Prince Franz to make their stay as comfortable as possible. It was adorned with flowers throughout, befitting Floria, who was often referred to as the flower fairy, and her heart was captivated by the many romantic touches that have been put in place to celebrate their union.
Their wedding night was also scheduled to be held in a particularly luxurious cabin on the ship. The attendants accompanying Floria were busy preparing the bedroom, with plumeria flowers sprinkled on the bed and a sweet, delicate fragrance wafting through the cabin.
Receiving the care of her attendants, Floria was supposed to be embraced tenderly by Prince Franz on the pure white flower petals. However, one unexpected event occurred.
On the night, as soon as Floria entered the bedroom for her wedding night, she suffered from severe seasickness.
In fact, from the moment she boarded the ship and ventured into the open sea, Floria had been feeling nauseous and unwell. However, out of concern for Prince Franz, she hadn’t been able to express her discomfort. But as night fell, she reached the limit of her endurance.
From that night onwards, she couldn’t eat anything on the ship, and she suffered from seasickness day and night, unable to sleep properly. Needless to say, their wedding night was out of the question.
In consideration of Floria’s condition, Prince Franz, without showing any signs of displeasure, comforted her throughout the night, gently rubbing her back and taking care of her. Despite the waves of nausea overwhelming her, Floria felt sorry for the prince’s concern and apologized for not being able to have their wedding night as planned.
In response, Prince Franz didn’t blame her but instead reassured her with kind words, saying that they would take their time and make love after reaching the southern island. Those words made Floria’s heart leap with joy, even though she felt a bit embarrassed. She knew she was the happiest bride in the world to have such a reliable prince as her partner.
With Franz by her side, she had nothing to worry about.
Just about six months ago, a foreign ship had invaded the waters of Floria’s country, leading to an outbreak of armed conflict. Once again, it was Franz who came to the rescue and saved the country from crisis.
The allied kingdom of Lanancrus dispatched reinforcements, and Prince Franz himself led the navy into battle, achieving a decisive victory. Fearlessly facing the enemy’s fierce attacks, he boldly boarded their ships and destroyed their fleet.
Thanks to these achievements, he earned the nickname “Prince of the Sea.”
The current peace in Floria’s country was all thanks to Franz.
Although he was known to be a brave and valiant warrior in times of war, he was also handsome and incredibly gentle in everyday life. It felt like a dream come true and brought her happiness to marry such a noble prince who seemed to have stepped out of a fairytale.
