Save Me

Slowly, But Surely

43. Slowly, But Surely.

It was a voice so captivating that it drove me crazy.

The soft voice made me feel dizzy, as if it had gone straight into my head rather than my eardrums.

Bianca didn’t quite understand what she heard.

“I…..”

“Allow me.”

Huh?

The sound of the question echoed sweetly through her nose.

Jillian slowly lowered his head as he held her in his arms.

Bianca stared blankly at Jillian approaching her with her head tilted back.

The sun was pouring its rays down.

He stopped right in front of her nose, bent his brilliantly shining golden eyes, and whispered as if he was sighing.

“Hurry.”

His voice seemed to have brushed her lips.

As his exhaled breath came through her open teeth, she felt her throat contracting.

“Please allow now.”

The plea that seemed like a command was so sweet that she couldn’t hold on any longer.

As soon as Bianca closed her eyes, the two barely separated lips met.

A warm and soft sensation flowed through her highly sensitive flesh.

‘Ah!’

The exclamation she made at the unbearably stimulating feeling was swallowed up by him without a sound escaping.

Jillian didn’t miss the opportunity and dove in, taking control of Bianca’s every breath as if it was natural.

Bianca’s heart felt like it was boiling as their breath became more and more tangled without distinction.

“…….!”

The feeling of him persistently rubbing her wet mucous membrane was horribly thrilling.

It was so exhilarating that she felt a dizzying feeling of falling, as if her feet were going to give out.

Bianca reached out her hand without realizing it and grabbed Jillian’s collar with all her strength.

However, the feeling of a shiver running down her spine and her shoulders suddenly rising was unfamiliar and too great to be suppressed.

Their heated breath rose up, staining both her cheeks and the corners of her eyes red, and it seemed as if it would melt her head.

For some reason, Bianca was so scared that she used both her hands to push him away, but instead of being pushed away, Jillian gave strength to his arms and dug in even deeper.

He drank Bianca greedily.

He was so greedy that he made her eyes dizzy, and it was so lewd that her whole body melted.

When Bianca, who couldn’t hold on any longer, began to flow out like melted butter, Jillian lightly picked her up and locked lips with her again.

Smooch.

Smooch.

As if he could not get satisfied with pressing down his lips with as much force as he could to crush the soft flesh, he raised his teeth and bit Bianca’s lower lip.

Every time he bit into her lips with his straight white teeth, her fingertips tingled.

Bianca moaned while being held by him, feeling electricity pulse throughout her body.

“Ah.”

She tried to escape the overwhelming pleasure he was giving her, but the back of her neck was held in a large hand.

Just by pressing down on her thin neckline with his thumb, she would lose all the strength in the back of her neck.

“Running away is not allowed.”

“J-Jillian!”

Heaving.

Her wet breath sounded pitifully.

“Never again.”

“Hmm.”

“I promise.”

“Ugh.”

She couldn’t even hear what he was saying.

The only thing that resonated in her eardrums was her loud, pounding heartbeat, but Bianca nodded as best she could.

All her breathing was sucked in and no voice came out.

The golden gaze followed her persistently, as if he wanted to trap her in his eyes.

Even though her whole body was tired and weak and she just wanted to rest, Bianca was concerned about his gaze.

What is that..….

It was as if he was growling, but strangely, Jillian seemed anxious.

Don’t do that.

Bianca lifted her limp hand and cupped his cheek.

“I was the one who was abandoned.”

His golden eyes, which had been burning beautifully, in an instant, lost their light and turned black.

“…….!”

Bianca was startled.

It wasn’t that she was pessimistic about the situation.

This was just a fact.

Wasn’t it an undeniable fact that she was abandoned by her father and sent to her death?

However, in an instant, his expression became indescribably miserable.

Bianca realized that she had offended him when she saw him showing guilt.

What on earth bothered him so much?

It didn’t matter what.

Bianca regretted it.

She should have told him politely that she wouldn’t leave when he was anxious.

She should have whispered that she liked him and wanted to stay here.

Instead, she had to honestly confess that the reason there was no need to be anxious was because she had nothing.

What was meant to be a relief and to let him know that she had nowhere to go seemed to have upset him instead.

“Jillian, what I was trying to say was….”

“I’m sorry. I was wrong.”

The man who had been greedily pushing against Bianca just a moment ago suddenly turned pale and lowered his head.

“No, Jillian. No, I was wrong.”

“Bianca, what could you have done wrong? The sin is Baloch’s.”

Bianca’s eyes widened.

‘Termina will set Baloch free after all his sins have been forgiven.’

As the prophetic phrase flashed through her mind, Bianca almost forgot what the current situation was and immediately asked.

What is your sin?

The question rose up to her throat and she wanted to say: ‘What is the sin that brought you to your knees?’

“Don’t say that.”

However, Bianca was able to swallow down her curiosity and cup his pale cheeks.

The strong impulse was fleeting, and just looking at him turning pale was painful.

Bianca made eye contact with Jillian and whispered.

“I was telling you not to be anxious. It’s the truth.”

“…….”

“This is my home.”

“……”

“No?”

“…….”

“No?”

“No, you are the owner of this Baloch, My Queen.”

This was the answer she had forced him to give.

However, Bianca thought that was good enough.

Because the man who said ‘my queen’ laughed.

As usual.

No, even more dazzlingly beautiful than usual.

He was covered in the sun, and his whole body seemed to shine brightly.

So Bianca, who had been staring in fascination, realized it only after a while.

“Sunlight?”

She couldn’t even remember how long it had been since she last saw it.

The endless snowstorm stopped.

***

The snow had stopped.

It was exactly as Jillian Balloch said.

Crete basked in the pouring sunlight and encouraged the workers.

“There! Bring the cart close to the transportation circle base and load the materials right away! Don’t lift and move it. Save your stamina as much as possible! We have to finish the repairs and reinforcements before the next wave, so there’s a lot of work to do!”

“Yes, Creta!”

“Load your luggage straight from the transportation circle and move to 7th Fortress. We don’t have much time, so everyone, hurry up and don’t delay!”

There was so much going on that it was enough to make someone gasp, but no one complained.

The wave was life-threatening.

The news that the 7th Fortress had exploded spread quickly.

As soon as the fortress exploded, monsters invaded Baloch territory.

There was no need for anyone to bother telling people.

They all felt it deep in their bones as they lost their loved ones.

“It’s such a big deal.”

A man in the middle of a long line of carts muttered.

“What’s the big deal?”

“No, I mean this incident. The fortress had never collapsed since the empire was created. But it collapsed like this…”

“Wasn’t it a fortress that shared history with the founding of the nation? I guess it’s because it’s been so long. There is even talk of a major renovation of the fortress after the wave ends this year. Did you hear that?”

“Well, that is true, but I just had this thought.”

He thought it was just a trivial chat, but as the chat got longer, people around him started pay attention.

It wasn’t a big deal, but it made him feel a bit embarrassed to be receiving attention.

The man scratched the back of his head and lowered his voice.

“The timing is a bit odd.”

“What does this mean, can you elaborate?”

In response to someone’s question, the man answered with his voice lowered.

“It collapsed as soon as Princess Termina arrived.”

“Her?”

A strange exclamation erupted from somewhere, and the atmosphere subtly hardened.

Everyone’s faces hardened and they looked flustered.

They didn’t know why, but now that they thought about it, the timing was perfect.

“Then, this is…….”

When a man in the crowd opened his mouth to say something.

A thud sounded from the back cart.

“Let’s see, I have heard all sorts of things. What’s wrong with Termina coming? According to the prophecy, only good things should happen.”

“Oh no, no one said anything, it’s just like that….”

“What do you mean? Don’t go around and say something like that. You’re going to get into big trouble.”

“What did I do? It just occurred to me, so I said it just between us.”

“Anyway, don’t do it again. From now on don’t even mention it with your mouth and erase it from your mind.”

The man who had first spoken also held the reins with an embrassed expression at the warning voice.

The sun was still at its peak, and materials were coming out of the transportation circle non-stop.

***

The butler arrived when the fourth package of materials arrived.

Dozens of carts had already moved and all that was left was some unfinished business, so it was quiet.

Creta looked at the neat-looking man standing on the circle line and bowed slightly to greet him.

“I am Creta Barhan. I am the Duke’s aide.”

“Hello, this is Alec Hetroysen. I’m sorry I missed my arrival date.”

“No. Everyone is familiar with the heavy snowfall in the North. I’m so glad you came here.”

“Actually, I was expecting you to come in April.”

Creta grinned and whispered a ‘joke’.

A small consideration for the person who would become the butler of this unfamiliar and cold Baloch territory.

The man who introduced himself as Alec nodded at Creta’s joke.

“If I had come in the spring, I would have prepared a bouquet of flowers for you, Ma’am, but I am also a bit disappointed that I have to greet you empty-handed.”

He was a man who was not only neat, but everything on his body seemed to be in place.

However, listening to him smiling brightly and saying, it seemed like he wasn’t that stiff at all.

Creta glanced at Alec and smiled kindly once more.

“I like flowers, but I like kind people even more, so you’ll be fine.”

“Oh, you like kind people?”

“Is there anyone who hates kind people?”

“That’s right.”

While exchanging nonsense, Creta guided Alec one step ahead into the castle.

Step step.

Following the sounds of her steps,

Step step.

Alec’s steps were heard.

Suddenly Creta turned around and looked at the young butler following her.

Even though the snow had been removed, some of the snow that had fallen for a long time had long since frozen solid in the midwinter cold.

She was the duke’s aid and at the same time a knight.

It meant that walking on ice was nothing.

However, Alec’s steps, who was an outsider and would soon become a butler, were incredibly stable.

“The road is slippery. Be careful.”

Creta grinned.
