Chapter 10 – Robed Man
Yan Xiaosi scanned the entire book. Then, she hugged the book in her arms and smiled.
As the new owner of this space, everything belonged to her.
With this space, she wouldn’t have to worry about starving to death in these ancient times.
Touching her flat stomach, she was starting to feel hungry again.
Ah! In these times, people must get hungry fast! Let’s find something to eat.
She searched through the first, second and third floors, but she couldn’t find any food at all. Then she thought of finding a basement.
Walking down the spiral staircase in the middle, she actually did find a basement.

Outside of the space, the sounds of weapons clashing were even louder. She looked toward the noise twenty yards away and saw five masked men in black surrounding a robed man.
Her eyes glowed at the features of the robed man.
In her previous life, she had seen many handsome elite soldiers in the 183rd Brigade. But the appearance of the robed man was indescribable. He was cold and noble. Even with his injuries, he didn’t look haggard at all.
She admired the robed man’s martial arts. The five masked men had all been killed by the robed man. Her nose twitched at the stench of blood that filled the air.
“You’ve been watching secretly for so long. It’s time to come out.”
Yan Xiaosi was planning to leave after watching the excitement, but a cold voice called her out.
She stopped and turned back to look at the robed man.
Yet, she stood still instead of walking out to reveal herself.
The robed man didn’t seem to be an easy person to deal with. Before confirming whether he meant her, she didn’t want to cause herself any trouble.
“I’m talking about you.”
The cold voice rang out again. At the same time, a pine cone flew at Yan Xiaosi.
She snorted, frowned and walked toward the injured man.
