Please Satisfy the Princess [R19]

˗ˏˋ Chapter 2 | Audience ´ˎ˗

My legs went weak, and I sank back into my chair.

I’d taken a risk, followed a stranger, and been suspected of being a spy.

I felt the energy drain from my body with the realization that I would never find what I was looking for here.

“You shouldn’t despair so much. Anorgasmia often improves without the use of medication.”

  “You mean there’s a cure?”

My voice trembled slightly at the thought that there might be a way.

  “Have you seen a doctor?”

“They just told me there was nothing wrong.”

Lee nodded thoughtfully after hearing the answer, as if he had expected it.

“Maybe you’re not anorgasmic. Maybe there wasn’t enough foreplay, maybe the guy was undersized, or maybe he just couldn’t do it.”

As the tension eased, his sky-blue eyes, now softer than before, met mine.

“I’d be curious to know what makes you suspect yourself, an unmarried lady, of being anorgasmic, but I think I’d better get back to work.”

  “Oh…”

I sat there, my lips pursed in a sort of regret, but the words I wanted to say were tangled up in my mind like threads, and I couldn’t get them out.

“I’ll pretend I didn’t hear that you wanted to work here.”

He walked toward the door and pulled it open with slender, pale fingers.

In the end, all I could do was grab the hem of my dress, rise from my chair, and slowly walk out the door.

I took the last step out the door and slowly turned to face him.

  “Take care, Miss Sera.”

Unlike me, who was full of regrets, he offered a small farewell with an enigmatic smile.

While I hesitated, unsure of what to say in response to his gentle greeting, the door slammed shut and his figure disappeared behind the doorway.

I had to make an effort to lift my heavy steps, which seemed glued to the floor of the laboratory.

By the time I got out of the lab, it was late evening and the sun had already set.

An orange glow was leaking from the lanterns placed all over the streets, as if they would not allow even a moment of darkness.

  “It’s later than I thought.”

Muttering to myself, I lifted my gaze to the end of the road with brightly lit lanterns on both sides, and I could see the castle of the Ildon Kingdom.

It was already late enough that I couldn’t delay any longer.

I could already see the nervous strides of the escorting knights, who would have headed for the castle first if I hadn’t been so stubborn.

Thanks to the light clothing I wore for the carriage trip, walking wasn’t too difficult.

Gingerly clutching the hem of my dress and started walking.

How much time had passed since I began walking? As I stepped into the square where people were gathered, I could hear the melody of stringed instruments and the voice of a poet becoming clearer.

“Now, let’s talk about the men of Ildon Kingdom.”

  “Waaaaaah!”

The people clapped and cheered as the bard, dressed in a matching red outfit from top to bottom, skillfully plucked the strings.

As I carefully made my way through the crowd and blended in with the crowd, the bard’s song began.

All the men of the royal family are

The bard sang a deliciously melodious verse, then fell silent for a moment, teasing the crowd.

Then, with a mischievous grin on his face, he began again.

   “ They’re a prince

The crowd erupted in applause at the bard’s witty remark, and so did I.

It was a vulgarity not allowed in the imperial court, so it was refreshing to hear it, like scratching an itch.

The princes of the Ildon royal family

At the change of title for the male royalty of the Ildon Kingdom, the crowd clapped once again and laughed out loud.

When they ask a girl out, they pull their pants down first

It’s a ridiculous story, but I can’t help but laugh at the absurdity of it.

I could see why the commoners liked the bard’s songs, but I couldn’t stall any longer.

Now that my curiosity about the gathering had been satisfied, I set out again for the castle in the kingdom of Ildon.

As I walked away from the square, I could still hear the bard singing.

Women who have f*cked the princes of Ildon never forget that big ‘thing’ for the rest of their lives

  “Ah.”

At that moment, Lee’s words flashed through my mind.

  “Maybe the guy was undersized.”

Maybe Lee was right, hard-to-find aphrodisiacs aren’t the answer.

Should I just meet a guy with a big d*ck?

What if I spend my “night of proof” with a man from Ildon Kingdom who’s had a big d*ck for generations?

All the effort I had gone through to come this far, driven by the desire not to live a lifetime without experiencing any satisfaction, suddenly felt worth it.

I wasn’t sure, but my heart was pounding with the thought that I found even the faintest clue.

  ⋆⁺˚˙‧₊ ☾₊‧˙˚⁺⋆

“Princess Cerne. Do you know how worried we were yesterday?”

Rua, the maid who had followed me to Ildon Kingdom, whined as she brushed my blonde hair.

She had been complaining from yesterday to this moment while I sat in front of my vanity mirror. It was clear that I would never be able to escape Rua’s nagging for a while.

“No matter how safe the kingdom is, you shouldn’t be wandering around by yourself like that. What if something happens to you…?”

“Rua, could you please comb my hair gently?”

Rua’s hand paused for a moment, and then the anger in her touch changed to a delicate one as she ran the comb through my hair.

In the mirror, Rua’s lips were pouting and her whole body was showing her frustration.

“Even your dress is all dirty…”

Obviously, she was referring to the aphrodisiac on my dress.

As my mind wandered, I remembered Lee, the head of the lab I met yesterday.

He had fair, almost glowing skin and platinum hair that just barely covered the nape of his neck. He was a head and a half taller than me, with broad shoulders.

Sky-blue eyes that were somehow nonchalant, but also fierce when he was suspicious of me, and then strangely softened when he let her guard down, and a jawline that plunged downward.

‘Oh, no. What am I thinking?’

No matter how handsome he was, it was inappropriate to be interested in a commoner from another country.

Besides, to confirm the authenticity of the song sung by the bard yesterday, I had to approach the men of Ildon Kingdom.

“Princess Cerne, what kind of dress would you like to wear?”

When I looked in the mirror, I saw that the maids were showing me three different dresses. I got up carefully from my seat and examined the dresses closely.

Since I was visiting the Ildon Kingdom as the princess and meeting the king today, the dress I had to wear had to be more formal compared to yesterday.

“Let’s go with the one in the middle.”

I quickly scanned the dresses with my eyes and made my decision.

The red dress on the left was a bit too fancy for an audience, and the yellow dress on the right was a bit too light for a representative of the Siaz Empire.

The dress in the middle, with its square neckline and exposed collarbone, was neither too stuffy nor too light.

The light blue fabric covering the arms and white ruffles at the ends of the sleeves looked elegant, and the Siamese pearls at the hem of the skirt added beauty to the flowing lines of the dress.

As she slipped into the dress and stood before the three-sided mirror, Rua smoothed my hair and spoke.

  “You look lovely, Your Highness.”

  “I see. Is everything finished?”

  “Yes, Your Highness.”

As I looked in the mirror, my hair, which was pulled up with a sky-blue ribbon, creating a mature hairstyle, reflected back at me.

Since I’ve come all the way to the Ildon Kingdom, I should find a way to fix my body here.

I looked at myself in the mirror, reminded myself, and then turned slowly towards the door.

  “Let’s go.”

The servants opened the door for me, and a servant from Ildon who had been waiting in the hallway led the way.

Rua and my escorts followed me up the dark green carpeted royal hallway.

As we walked from the annex where the visitors’ quarters were located to the main castle where the royal family resided, I tried to recall all the information about the Ildon royal family.

‘King Haylen of the Kingdom of Ildon had three children, and all were sons,’ I remembered hearing.

‘But what were the ages of the princes again…?’

As I delved deeper into my memories, I came to a massive door with beautiful carvings of leaves.

“This is Princess Cerne Siaz, First Princess of the Siaz Empire, accompanied by the trade envoys.”

The doors to the throne room, more magnificent than any I had ever visited, opened on either side to reveal the King, Haylen.

Through his red hair and nicely trimmed beard, the white marks of age were visible.

Nevertheless, King Haylen of the Kingdom of Ildon was a stunningly handsome man.

“Greetings to His Majesty, the King of the Ildon Kingdom. I am Cerne Siaz, First Princess of the Siaz Empire.”

‘If the king is so handsome, then the princes must be handsome as well.’

I bowed outwardly, though my mind was filled with different thoughts.

King Haylen smiled, and the wrinkles that marked his age settled into his face.

“I did not expect the Princess to come to my kingdom with the trade envoy. I am grateful that the Siaz Empire has shown such a strong sign of friendship to my kingdom.”

Instead of answering, I gently held the hem of my dress and bowed my head in greeting.

I had traveled to Ildon in search of a cure for my anorgasmia, but in the eyes of others who didn’t know any better, it was a significant gesture of friendship of the Siaz Empire.

“Since you have traveled to the Kingdom, it would be nice to introduce you to our princes. However…”

‘Is it not possible for me to meet the princes?’

My heart sank at King Haylen’s words.

As I pondered what to say, he spoke again.

“Our first prince is studying abroad, and our second prince rarely appears in social circles.”

I had heard that the first prince had been studying abroad since last year, and the second prince, despite reaching a marriageable age, showed no interest in making his debut in society.

Maybe upon seeing the look of disappointment on my face as I realized that this was nothing more than what I already knew, King Haylen spoke up.

“And the third prince is… probably asleep, but if you don’t mind, would you like to meet our third prince?”

The king pushed himself up from his throne and his subjects followed in unison, and I began to follow him out of the throne room.

  ⋆⁺˚˙‧₊ ☾₊‧˙˚⁺⋆

“This must be the third prince.”

“Yes. His name is Samel Ildon.”

Prince Samel was passed from the nanny’s arms to the king’s.

The tiny child, who hadn’t even reached his first birthday yet, sucked his thumb in his father’s arms and babbled unintelligible words.

Unable to meet the first prince or the second prince, the only one I could meet was the newborn, the third prince.

“What a pretty child. Prince, may you grow up healthy.”

  “Thank you.”

Holding the baby in his arms, King Haylen politely replied.

While keeping my disappointment hidden deep inside, I looked around Prince Samel’s room.

To prevent the baby from falling, there was a white fence around the crib, a mobile attached to the ceiling, and a large family portrait framed in a golden frame on one side of the wall.

In the portrait, the queen sat next to King Haylen, with his red hair and dark gray eyes, holding the third prince.

To the King’s left stood a young man who looked exactly like him, with red hair and dark gray eyes, and to the Queen’s right stood a young man who looked exactly like her, with elegant platinum blonde hair with sky-blue eyes…

  ‘Lee?’

Lee from the lab was standing there.

“That’s the first and second princes.”

Perhaps noticing my gaze that had been fixed on the royal portrait, King Haylen patted the buttocks of Prince Samel, who was in his arms.

“That’s our first prince, Kerril Ildon, on the left, studying in the Kingdom of Reyhad. He looks a lot like me.”

“And the one next to the queen is…”

“That’s our second prince, Richelden Ildon. He greatly resembles the queen… but he’s completely absorbed in research and has no interest in making a social debut. I’m worried if he’ll marry in time.”

The king’s expression showed his concern as he smiled bitterly at the portrait.

Following his worried gaze, I turned my attention to Richelden in the portrait.

‘If the bard’s song is true, then Prince Richelden also has that big ‘thing.’’

I swallowed hard as I looked at the painting of Prince Richelden, who had an elegant yet haughty face with a faint smile on his lips.

‘I’ll have to check it for myself to see if it’s true.’
