Obsessed with Regressors

CHAPTER 25.3

“It was a lot of fun.”

The queen Cycilia spoke to Eugenie with a happy expression. It was really fun. She was familiar with the feeling of submerging her body in water, but moving around in a swimming pool was a completely different sensation. She turned her head to Lauren, who was teaching her to swim by her side. Even though the girl was nervous at first, she was later quite relaxed about teaching her. Thanks to this, she and Sai Cilia were able to enjoy swimming with peace of mind. Because she was confident that if she ever fell into her own water, she would have someone to help her.

“I’m glad, Your Majesty.”

Eugenie smiled and handed her the Queen’s earrings. She was wet from swimming, but her queenly outfit was perfect. She did this because her maids whom she had brought with her had completely dried her wet hair, combed it again, and rolled it up. Moreover, she even got to rest a little in the large room prepared for the queen. Cycilia’s mood was very generous thanks to her warm tea and sweet cake in front of her. She looked back at Eugenie, putting on her earrings that Eugenie had given her.

She said thank you again and again she said thank you.

“Thanks to you, I had a pleasant experience. She was swimming in a boat on the river. It was very enjoyable.”

In her heart, she wanted to ask if she could bring the prince one more time next time. But hadn’t she seen it before? Even the owner of this ship, Count Burns, was not allowed to come in. If he commanded it, it could be achieved, but Lady Biscon was right. It was really fun, but it wasn’t worth the gossip. Cycilia got up from her seat, hoping that Viscountess Patterson would build the pool quickly.

“I want to repay you for giving me pleasure.”

Eugenie was slightly surprised when the queen told her to tell her if there was anything she wanted. All she could think was that she was glad she was satisfied. She refused to bring the prince because she naturally thought she would feel bad. This satisfied her enough to make Eugenie forget that she had prevented her from bringing the prince. But at the same time, she knew what a great opportunity it was for the queen to tell her what she wanted first.

Eugenie hesitated for a moment and then said.

“Your Majesty, I know that this matter did not turn out completely as you wanted. Of course, it’s not enough to get anything in return.”

Okay? She said. One of Cycilia’s eyebrows rose. It was difficult for her to accomplish everything completely as she wanted. But she didn’t say anything, and Eugenie continued her words.

“Next time, if I fulfill your wish perfectly, may I tell you what you wish for then?”

An expression of interest came over Cycilia’s face. How does she make her wish come true so perfectly? And what do you wish for?

She was curious, but she knew that sometimes she was better off not asking. She stared at Eugenie for a moment and then laughed.

“I’m looking forward to it.”

The queen and her party left the ship. Even then, Elliot said, she was sitting on a chair in front of the boat. Of course, the difference was that unlike when Eugenie entered with her queen, there was a considerable amount of documents placed in front of the table where he was sitting. And the fact that Elliot’s subordinate is sitting across the table.

“Are you worried about the ship or Lady Biscon?”

The queen smiled and asked as Elliot, who had been looking at her papers, stood up when he saw her. Elliot looked at Eugenie and grinned at the queen’s joke.

“I know Lady Biscon well. I don’t have to worry.”

The queen chuckled as she said she believed she would do it perfectly. So that means she was worried about her stomach. You sound weak. The queen knew roughly how wealthy Count Burns was. She may be more than she knows. So, for her to worry about her stomach is just nonsense.

“Have you really been here the whole time?”

After the queen left, Eugenie walked up to Eliot’s side and asked, She finished drinking and there was a pile of teacups and documents on the table, so there was a lot of evidence that she was here. But did she really wait outside the ship? How she treats the queen?

Elliot said to Eugenie, who couldn’t believe it, as he held her hand.

“Yes. I said I would be here.”

“Aren’t you bored?”

All day she had to look at papers by the ship. He could have worked more easily in a more comfortable place. Elliot was about to say yes, but he said the opposite and asked.

“Did you achieve what you wanted?”

“I was just serving Her Majesty the Queen.”

“That’s what you wanted.”

It was like that. Eugenie wanted to treat the queen well. She looked at Elliot a little curiously. She thought she only listened because the queen wanted to come, but when she heard Elliot, she felt a little different.

“Yes.”

Eugenie said, smiling at Elliot. She achieved what she wanted. It was just to treat her queen flawlessly, but that was what Eugenie had hoped for.

“Then I am satisfied too.”

If Eugenie achieved what she wanted, Elliot is satisfied with that. Because everything about her exists for her.

“Oh, and.”

Elliot, who lightly squeezed Eugenie’s hand, carefully let go of her hand and said. Without asking permission, she took Eugenie’s hand. He continued, hoping that she would not be offended by this.

“We sent someone upriver.”

“Oliver!”

Then Eugenie remembered that just before her queen came, she had worried that Oliver might be in danger. She forgot because she was serving the queen. Elliot said as if to console her as she looked surprised.

“Baron Biscon is fine. They said there were no injuries.”

This means that the danger facing Oliver has already disappeared. oh my god. Was Lord Lannon right? Eugenie, who was sighing her relief, realized something strange about her from Elliot’s words.

“Baron Biscon?” she asked, lifting her head and looking at Elliot.

That means other people aren’t like that. Elliot didn’t say anything or make any facial expressions when Eugenie pointed out. She said it made Eugenie more anxious.

“What about Claire? Is she okay?”

She went alone to rescue Oliver. She didn’t think it was a big deal, but the way she said she wasn’t even hurt made it sound like something big would have happened.

“It’s okay.”

Elliot said that to calm Eugenie down. And she quietly added to her anxiety.

“I heard she hurt her arm a little.”

The next moment, Eugenie was running to her carriage.

* * *

“You shouldn’t have said that.”

Taking advantage of Eugenie’s absence, Claire criticized Elliot. He, who was leisurely sitting on her sofa and drinking her tea, answered her without even looking at her.

“You probably don’t think this is a pleasant situation for me.”

Having Claire stay at Biscon Manor until her injured arm healed was definitely not what Elliot wanted. Thanks to her, Claire ended up joining in on her fun conversation with Eugenie.

“This?”

At that time, the living room door opened and Oliver came in. Needless to say, Claire’s face was distorted when she saw his face. Oliver put the small shelf-like thing he had brought with him onto the handle of the sofa where Claire was sitting. It appears to be a simple table.

“It’s perfect.”

After saying that, Oliver naturally sat across from Claire. Eugenie returned to her seat and placed her hand once on Oliver’s shoulder.

“Thank you, Oliver.”

“You got hurt because of me, that’s natural.”

Claire’s face distorted again. She wasn’t hurt because of Oliver. There was only one reason to take risks to save Baron Biscon. Because of Lady Biscon. But even if she said that, the dissimilar siblings didn’t care, so Claire silenced him.

“Those people are getting a pay cut.”

Then, Oliver opened his mouth. Those people? Eugenie understood it before Claire did. She looked incredulous and started to get angry.

“Does that make sense? I attacked and injured someone and only got a pay cut?”

And that’s only a one-month pay cut. For the crime of not stopping the fight between knights. This was the story of the knights who tried to attack Oliver. The knights who followed Sir Psylocke received a one-month pay cut. Since they are all from wealthy families, a one-month pay cut cannot be said to be a loss. The problem was Lord Psylocke and Lord Lannon.

“Claire is on leave for three months?”

Claire smiled at Eugenie’s words that seemed unfair. she doesn’t care When she stood up to Sir Psylocke and his group, she risked being kicked out of the Order.

“Lord Lannon had a duel on the high street.”

Eugenie glared at Elliot’s obnoxious words. He quickly raised his hands and leaned against the back of his sofa. Since the one who fought was Psylocke and Lord Lannon, the two receive greater punishment. The remaining drivers were just watching, so as punishment for not stopping them, they were given a one-month pay cut.

“Lord Psylocke?”

Eugenie asked Oliver, hoping that Lord Psylocke would have received a greater punishment. He did receive a bigger punishment. Oliver said, shrugging his shoulders.

“On relegation.”

“Relegation? Is there any demotion in the knighthood?”

“There is a minor.”

Elliot intervened once again. The Order of Knights is divided into major and minor. The minor performs auxiliary work to the major. If his skills are good, he can advance to the major level.

“That…”

Eugenie was about to say that she was fine, but she stopped. Because being too happy about other people’s misfortune is not a good thing to do.

“I guess I can learn something from this.”

Eugenie said and raised her teacup. It was also thanks to Claire that Lord Psylocke ended up being demoted. Because she prevented Sir Psylocke and his companions from attacking Oliver, it ended up being an unauthorized duel between the knights. If Claire hadn’t stopped it, it would have resulted in the knights lynching civilians. And they are not just civilians, they are nobles.

“Well.”

Elliot muttered as he lifted his teacup. These were the guys who tried to lynch a nobleman in broad daylight. Would it really stop like this? He raised his head, thinking that he would have to meet Lord Psylocke sooner or later. And he smiled at Eugenie who asked what he meant.
