Obsessed with Regressors

CHAPTER 15.6

It seemed like something bad had happened to her this year. She was staring blankly at Lord Hudson, who looked like he was crazy. Was he saying she was trying to separate him from Awning? It’s like a lover. It felt like she was trying to tear the people that were in love apart. She gaped, not knowing what to say. Were they two dating? She wanted to say that, but she was scared because she didn’t know how Lord Hudson would react.

“Are you trying to separate us?”

Did she hear wrong? She asked cautiously. Then Lord Hudson jumped up and shouted.

“Don’t pretend it’s not! Foxy bitch! You tried to separate us before!”

“Wait, wait.”

She tried to step back to avoid being hit by Lord Hudson’s swinging arm, but stopped when she was blocked by the wall. She hoped not, but she didn’t think the story could proceed without confirmation.

“You and Awning? So, uh…”

Despite her bewildered attitude, Lord Hudson’s excitement did not subside. He shouted, coming closer to her.

“Okay! I love him! If it weren’t for you…”

“Really?”

Was it real? Wait, he was not saying Lord Hudson was actually a woman, or that Awning was actually a woman, right? She raised her bandaged arm to stop Lord Hudson. If you have reason, there was no way you would not back down even after seeing the other person injured. Unfortunately, Lord Hudson seemed to have lost his mind and snatched her bandaged arm.

“Aww!”

A scream erupted reflexively. The doctor told her not to remove the triangle tendon, but it looks like he told her too. The good news was that Sir Hudson, who heard her screams, was startled and came to his senses.

“I-I…”

Lord Hudson came to his senses and found himself holding my arm. And I was even more surprised to see that her arm was wrapped in bandages. It seemed like he really lost his mind and couldn’t see anything. She said with a frown.

“Should I at least ask you to let me go?”

Unfortunately, it seemed that Lord Hudson would not grant her request. His expression became grim.

“Go right away and cancel.”

Lord Hudson grabbed her arm and started scolding her. Was this man crazy? She asked after seeing that he had not relaxed his grip on her arm.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Go and tell Awning that you will marry him. And make people swear not to make a fuss between us.”

She guessed it was real. Her heart sank at Lord Hudson’s confirmation.

‘Oh my god. Oh my god.’

Her heart started beating rapidly. Was this why Awning, who was so sweet and gentlemanly before the engagement, suddenly changed after the engagement? She didn’t know. But what was certain was that he tricked her. And her family too. When she thought about that, her anger rose. How dare him try to scam her and the Biscons? She shouted at Lord Hudson.

“Let go of this, Marcel Hudson!”

Lord Hudson was startled by her rough behavior and took a step back. Then she took a step toward Lord Hudson. Then this time he stepped back.

“The reason I was polite to you was because I thought you were my fiancé’s friend. Sir Rensid is no longer my fiancé, and if you two have conspired to deceive me and my family, there is no need to be polite anymore.”

“What, what?”

“Cheeky. How dare you order me? Marcel Hudson. Did the Biscons look that funny?”

Her anger rose to the top of her head. This guy and that guy, what did they believe and act like this? Did it seem easy because she kept her manners? She took another step towards Lord Hudson. But unlike before, he started to hesitate and move away from her.

“Say it again. In front of me. How dare your lover deceive me and the Biscon family. Hurry!”

Lord Hudson’s face turned white at my accusation. He seems to have finally realized it. She didn’t know that he and Awning were lovers.

“Mo, you didn’t know?”

She didn’t know. ‘Oh my god.’ She laughed at herself because she felt stupid. Awning was particularly close to Marcel. Because the two of them always played together. But weren’t all men like that? Trying to do anything with your best friend was the same now as it was when you were young.

“But, but Awning…”

Just keep talking. She quietly watched Lord Hudson speak. She needed to know how much Awning and his family have toyed with her and her family.

“Well, I heard you threatened me when you saw me with you at the theater?”

Now Sir Hudson’s title for me has changed from ‘you’ to ‘you’. He seems to have come back to his senses. She said coldly.

“I never threatened Sir Rencid, and I thought the two of you were friends. What are you threatening me with?”

“Uh, we…”

Lord Hudson’s face turned red. She knew now what they did in the theater. The box seats in the theater could be moved back slightly to avoid people’s eyes. There were often lovers making love there, but you have to be careful because it can be seen if you get the angle wrong. She laughed at Lord Hudson’s confession. Believing Awning’s lies meant that they had made love in the Rensid’s box seats. Suddenly, she remembered the sudden visit to Elliot and Rensid’s box seat. Even at that time, Awning and his friend were strangely flustered.

“It wasn’t you I saw.”

She spoke calmly. Come to think of it, Awning refused to introduce his friend. And they tried to get her and Elliot out quickly.

“What are you talking about?”

She answered Sir Hudson’s question honestly. What did she see from Awning seat? He was a frail-looking man with brown hair. He was much younger than Awning. He was more of a boy than a man. Lord Hudson’s face began to distort at her explanation. It seemed like he knew someone.

“Uh, with that kid? Awning, you bastard!”

When Marcel realized that Awning had cheated on him, he started to get angry. It was so funny that she burst out laughing. Her mother said so. No one cheats just once.

Awning was exactly like that. That’s right. She was once again grateful that he revealed his true colors before marriage. She would have had to live a terrible life if he had married him.

“Well, what’s funny?” asked Lord Hudson, his face red with anger. She stopped laughing and looked at him.

“What’s funny? What do you think about a man angry after he suffered the consequences of having an affair with a man whose fiancé was hidden from others?”

“Yes, what do you know…”

“I don’t know. Because I’m not a shameless person like you.”

“Ooh, we had no choice! I couldn’t help it! What do you think would happen if they revealed their relationship?”

She didn’t know why she needed to know that. They were also scammers who tried to deceive her. She put her good hand on her waist. Then he tilted his head crookedly and said.

“You loved it so much. Yes, it’s a wishful thinking.”

Lord Hudson’s face turned bright red with anger again. He reflexively raised his hands and shouted.

“This, this!”

“What is it there?”

At that time, a woman’s voice rang out behind Lord Hudson. A female? She widened her eyes when she realized that the woman behind him was dressed as a knight. Was there a woman among the knights? She knew there wasn’t one. But she was dressed as a knight. From simple armor that protects the upper body to a sword worn at the waist. Even her hair was cut very short. The knight’s gaze and hers collided. She looked at her and said in surprise.

“The noble Lady Biscon.”

Again? Slowly, she began to wonder whether she should place people who called her this way into a certain category. She didn’t know where to put it. While she was thinking about it, the woman came towards her. Then she looked at Lord Hudson and said:

“Are you going to hit a woman in the palace in broad daylight?”

“Oh, no…”

“What is your name? How did you get in here?”

Lord Hudson’s face was colored with embarrassment at the knight’s stiff question. He looked at her once and started running away.

“What?”

Ridiculous words flowed from the knight’s mouth. She turned to her and she asked.

“Shall I catch it?”

She spoke reflexively as he seemed to be waiting for her to give him instructions.

“Just leave it alone.”

Anyway, he has nothing to do with her. At her words, the knight looked back at Lord Hudson, who was running away once again. It would be funny if she felt like that. The moment she thought that, Lord Hudson stumbled and fell.

“Oh.”

She was surprised and said that and laughed a little. She ran away in a bit of a hurry. But she didn’t think she would really fall.

“Are you okay?” the knight asked.

She made a sigh and tried to tell her she was grateful for her help. But she then asked her as if scolding her.

“Why are you walking around dangerously alone?”

What was he saying now? She closed her mouth to say thank you. Her passion for victory was still boiling over from the fight with Lord Hudson just now.

“As the knight said, this is the royal palace in broad daylight. Are you saying it’s dangerous?”

If this place was dangerous, not only the palace knights but also the soldiers would all have to undergo training again. This should be the safest place in Current and Balcian. It seemed the knight was speechless due to her retort. As she was gaping, not knowing what to say, a man appeared behind her.
