“Happiness is over, and more happiness has come. ”
The ending of <The Greater Happiness> was a perfect happy ending. The protagonist, Serena Liev, who was falsely accused of treason and lost everything and Johan Hawes, who loved her, ended together. After overcoming hardships by using the treasure of Escaya, the ancient wyrm who defended the country, Sirena succeeds in reinstating her family and swears an oath of eternity love with John.
The story ends with the birth of twins who resemble each other.
I thought it was the perfect happy ending. It’s a story that can’t be fulfilled in real life, but it’s something I hope for, so I smiled at Serena and Johan’s ending.
But it wasn’t all that was engraved in the final sentence.
