I still can’t bring myself to like Ariette, even if she is pitiful. She doesn’t help herself. She must be able to see that others in her position aren’t getting treated as well as she is, but she doesn’t politely decline things like being given a seat at those meetings? Just feels like wilful ignorance to me. Her family might be controlling and over protective of her now, but that doesn’t erase her past trauma, which makes me wonder is she has BPD with a persecution complex. Sorry, I won’t comment about Ariette from now on 😂 she just grates on me for some reason. I like how detailed all the world building has been, but I just want more Letty and Ezkhiel 🥰
I kinda agree… Actually, I hope she doesn’t end up with Matthias and become the Crown Princess/future Empress. What would the empire be like if Ariette became the Empress later… 😮💨
