“Why on earth are they behaving like that?”

As Letticia expressed her confusion, Dayna whispered softly,

“Although they are from the same old noble family, Lady Desmond and Lady Courtney seem to want to join Lady Wallaces’ faction. They cannot get along well with Lady Hillmarin and Lady Kairon, who are trying to follow Lady Averil.”

“But still, don’t you think it’s crazy to ask the duke’s daughter to say hello to the count’s daughter? Old nobles would be more strict about etiquette and status.”

Though slightly taken aback by the harsh words interjected, Dayna calmly continued her explanation.

“Lady Averil is a noble from the East, and even if she’s a duke’s daughter, some people in the capital might look down on her if she’s not from a noble house there.”

“I’m not sure what they consider as noble.”

“They might not understand the reality well. I’ve heard that there’s a common perception among the old noble in the capital.”

The somewhat disdainful words carried a hint of resentment toward the old noble in the capital. Letticia felt a sense of camaraderie with Dayna, who seemed to possess more than just a quiet personality.

‘By the way, is Ariette being discriminated against for being an Eastern noble? Averil Ducal House is too powerful to be ignored just because they’re not capital nobles.’

Local nobility is still nobility, and disregarding Averil Ducal House could lead to unforeseen consequences.

Half of the empire’s wheat is produced on the Averil Ducal House’s territory, Elrey. Given their formidable production capacity, their economic power must be significant.

‘It’s not like dealing with the daughter of a wealthy family.’

Considering my knowledge from a previous life, I could understand the situation more thoroughly.

It seems that these greenhouse flowers view Lady Wallace, who has been establishing her influence since the early days at the academy, as superior to Ariette, who recently arrived from the provinces.

‘Ariette’s brothers would surely want to retaliate if they found out.’

Nevertheless, since there was no need for Letticia to know, she decided to suppress her curiosity.

As class was about to start, Letticia ignored them and opened her notebook.

“Alright, this is our meeting place. From now on, after classes, just come here.”

After the class ended, Letticia led the other students to her room.

The living room used as a reception area was spacious enough, and although a bit bustling with 11 students, it didn’t feel cramped.

“So, this is Letticia’s room. It’s my first time on the fourth floor, and it’s surprisingly spacious.”

“It’s the fourth floor, after all. Since I have the room to myself, feel free to make yourselves comfortable.”

Letticia kindly spoke, and the other students started to explore the room with fascination.

As Ivonne admired the Fabry teacups brought by a maid while looking at the sofa, table, and the flower-decorated table.

“Wow, these are Fabry teacups! Putting such things in the dorms; Filispe never fails to surprise.”

“Really? My cousin’s room doesn’t have them.”

“It seems they’re only on the fourth floor and above then.”

The rooms below the fourth floor are shared by roommates, with dormitory rooms, while the rooms from the fourth floor onwards are for high-ranking nobles, offering luxurious furnishings and tableware.

“I wonder what they put on the fifth floor. Limited edition Fabry, perhaps?”

“Maybe? Currently, only Lady Averil is on the fifth floor, but in three years, Her Imperial Highness is expected to enroll as well.”

“Ah, speaking of which, Letticia, haven’t you met Her Imperial Highness? I heard Her Majesty the Empress visited Sharon Mansion several times!”

The topic suddenly shifted to the imperial family, making Letticia feel a bit awkward.

Her parents had strongly emphasized that familiarity with the imperial family should be used only when absolutely necessary, so Lettcia preferred not to bring it up.

Yet, unable to entirely ignore the question, Letticia offered a brief response.

“I’ve met her several times. But due to the age difference, becoming friends is a bit challenging.”

“Ah, I see. It must be a bit difficult with a three-year age gap.”

Even if she were an imperial princess, a 10-year-old girl would likely appear quite young to a 13-year-old. With this excuse, Letticia redirected the conversation back to the study group.

“Now, let me explain our study group. I’m thinking of dedicating about two hours for review after classes. Any other suggestions or opinions?”

“Oh, I have an idea!”

Ivonne, always eager to contribute, raised her hand. Dolores and other students also seemed to have some thoughts.

“How about having a real tea time? Knowing the theory is important, but we should also practice in real situations.”

“That’s a good point. Let’s consider that. Dolores, what do you think?”

“Studying how to greet people and write letters could be useful too. We might need etiquette not covered in regular classes in the social circle.”

It was a basic lesson, but Letticia agreed, understanding that the other students lacked some common knowledge.

Various opinions were shared, mainly about what each of them wanted to learn.

When Letticia began to think about whether to call a tutor, as things like how to address, implicit politeness, and unwritten rules all came up, a student who was holding a very thick-looking book opened his mouth in a passive manner.

“Oh, I also have a suggestion, and it’s…”

“Yes, go ahead.”

“For the textbook… are we going to use this etiquette book?”

Upon seeing the thick book presented by the student, Letticia raised her eyebrows, wondering what it was.

“<Etiquette and Rules of High Society>?”

It was a book she had never seen before. It didn’t seem like something nobles would read, and it appeared to be a book for new nobles unfamiliar with hight society.

“Letticia, haven’t you read it? It’s currently the best-selling introductory book to the social circle. Most new nobles study from such books.”

As Dayna explained, Letticia took the book and briefly read the front part.

Etiquette for visiting, how long to stay, when to leave…

“What is this?”

Reacting to the absurd content, I found myself unintentionally muttering in an informal tone. Even though I only read a few sentences, the content didn’t make any sense.

“Informal visits should usually last 15 to 30 minutes, and even if you receive an invitation to stay longer, you should not. However, insisting on leaving is also impolite? What does that mean? Stay or not? What are you saying?”

“Um, Letticia?”

Everyone was perplexed by Letticia’s awkward tone, but she continued to be dumbfounded by the contradictory advice in the book.

“Shouldn’t we write down the current fashion at the ball, knowing it will change again in at least a month? At least write about the difference between party dresses and outing dresses! Are they selling a book and taking money for this? They’re not selling a book but their conscience!”

“Letticia…”

“And what’s this? You can’t be introduced to a ball without a chaperone. But you can’t just rely on a chaperone all the time? Are you kidding me? Who can’t use this!”

“Exactly! I was wondering what on earth that meant!”

“Me too. I wanted to point out that it’s absurd to teach noble etiquette and intentionally talk in circles.”

The students resonated strongly with Letticia’s words. It was clear they also struggled with the mismatched content.

“I can’t believe this is a bestseller. How did you study with something like this?”

“There was no other way. How else could we gather information?”

“Right. Our parents have never been invited to an high class social gathering.”

Even for these new nobles who haven’t entered the high society yet, it seems like a godsend.

However, as long as Letticia is teaching, learning from such a book is not acceptable.

“I’ll tell my mother and the household tutor to read this book. Maybe they can study from this book somehow.”

“Really? Thank you, Letticia!”

“It would be truly reliable if the Countess helps. Please express my gratitude later.”

“Yes, I’ll convey it to my mother.”

Everyone knew that expressing gratitude here meant more than just saying thanks.

Even if they still don’t know exactly what position the Count Sharon family is or how much power it has, since it is a family of the count’s level, it means that it will make a mark.

‘Well, in the end, it’s a win-win situation for both sides, right? If they become our clients in the future, my father might even give a bonus, perhaps. Seeking customers even before debut.’

When Letticia smiled with a rather calculating reason, Dayna asked.

“By the way, how did you come up with the club’s name? I just realized I haven’t heard it yet.”

“Ah, the club’s name. I completely forgot to mention it.”

Considering Camilla’s advice to pay close attention to the name, Letticia put thought into it. It shouldn’t be something like a sacred ritual praising and worshiping Letticia.

“‘March Blossoms’ is what I decided.”

“A great name! It feels like flowers waiting to bloom widely.”

“I chose it for that meaning. It sounds cultured and nice, doesn’t it?”

It wasn’t just because Letticia said it; everyone genuinely seemed to agree.

With a name in place and activities outlined, March Blossoms started smoothly.

Thanks for reading this storyyy. Me too, especially I can’t wait to see more interaction Letticia with Ez, but this story maybe will go slow for that

      1. Catherine says:

I want more interaction between Letty and Ez too! 😆 I already like him and think highly of him even though his part was small so far (only once). But I like how they don’t irrationally fall in love at first sight. She IS 13 yo 😅 and he’s at least 2 or 3 years older right? Since that’s his last year at the academy 🤔 and really, at this age boys don’t usually like girls very younger… would be creepy. I’m looking forward to how they slowly begin to like each other, what will make them think “ah… I really like that person”.
I also believe it will be a VERY slow, calm and unproblematic romance 😅 maybe some readers will be frustrated or bored. But I think it’s a very refreshing idea on romance stories, as well as the execution. It’s all so interesting and believable so far! I’m loving it!

        1. louyve says:

I think Ez is a person who will focus on his study and his work, so he will not really go for romantic things while interactions with Letticia for now (in academy). Yupp Ez is same age as Letticia brother if I’m not wrong. Since Ez is a Baron sons too, (maybe) he will have some unconfident or will be shy to show his love to Letticia (´༎ຶ ʖ ༎ຶ `)♡ thanks for loving it by the wayy 😍❤
