I Will Escape from the 'Flower of Trials'

IWEFTFOT Chapter 2.3

EPISODE 2.3

Yelling with a white face is a match made in heaven for Cha Ye Bin. Whenever he has nothing to say, he just calls my name.

“Ms. Ye Ryun. You didn’t care about that before. Why are you doing this all of a sudden?”

“Mr. Park told me that you wouldn’t treat him formally, so I thought I’d try to play the fiancée role now.”

“Ms. Ye ryun didn’t mean to argue with you Ms. Seo Ri.”

“I know. I just wanted to…….”

I loosened my grip on the horse and looked straight into Han Seo Ri’s pale eyes as she stared at me.

“I didn’t think you were on topic. I was just trying to let you know.”

“……!!”

At my blatant hostility, she jumped to her feet, her fists shaking as if she were about to punch me.

Tears filled her eyes. Cha Yebin stood up and hugged her as she began to shake and tremble, then glared at me.

“Don’t look at me like that. It’s the same thing for me to say it to

as well brother.”

“What?”

“I’m telling you to keep a hold on your girlfriend.”

“You’re acting like she’s cheating on me.”

“She might not be cheating, but I can’t stand to see my fiancée swimming in your girlfriend’s fish tank.”

“She’s not that kind of woman.”

“You’re the only one who thinks so. Oh, does that also include Mr. Park?”

I looked at Park Eun-woo with a smile on my face, and he was slowly looking at me with an unknown expression. A gaze that seemed to be observing.

“That’s too much.”

While Park Eun-woo and I were exchanging glances, Han Seo-ri began to whine in an annoying way that was characteristic of a crying child.

“I just want to be with Mr. Ye-bin, why are you bothering me like

this?”

“Seo-ri. Don’t cry.”

“Mr. Ye bin, Mr. Eunwoo. I’m so upset. What did I do wrong?”

Look at that. She’s asking them to take her side. I just told her to stop hitting on my fiancé, and here she’s is, asking him take her side, making sure to mention Park Eun-woo as well.

Cha Yebin patted Han Seo-ri’s shoulder and started to soothe her.

Isn’t she a fox? Doesn’t she know everything?

“Yes, Ms. Han. I want to ask you a question. How did I ever bully you?”

“Always, always, you’ve always been bullying me, hating me and…….”

“Isn’t it natural for me to hate you? To put it bluntly, you don’t belong in my family.”

“That’s the only reason you bullied me?”

“I don’t know why you set such a low standard. How did I bully

you?”

“You hate me! You oppose my marriage, point out to people in the company that I’m negligent on my work…… all the time, and are aggressive towards me…….”

Han tried to think of all the pain she had suffered and tried to keep talking.

But the more she spoke, the less and less she could speak.

Cha Ye Bin was also looking back and forth between Han Seo-ri and me with a strange expression.

It’s no wonder Han Seo Ri hates Cha Ye Ryun with a passion and treat her as an interloper in her life.

As the heroine of this drama, Han Seo-ri must have a villain who commits all kinds of evil deeds, and overcoming them to achieve love is what the heroine must do.

So while Han Seo Ri resented Cha Ye Ryun and had to overcome the trials she gave her, I also hated her and had to sabotage her future.

But there’s only one reason why Han-seo doesn’t respond to my sarcasm.

Because I didn’t do the evil deed that I should have done by unceremoniously bullying her.

Because the damned drama didn’t work out, and I took away all the unofficial things she’d been enjoying.

I hate myself for taking them away, but since they weren’t natural, they’re rightfully mine, and Cha Ye-Ryun bullied me into taking them, and I can’t claim them.

“And?”

I asked in a pleasant mood. What else did I do?

Han Seo-ri couldn’t continue. She just looked sad with tears streamed down her face.

Cha Yebin looked at me with a stony face, and Park Eun-woo watched with an uncharacteristically stoic expression.

In the silence, I was the only one smiling broadly in a joyful mood.

“As a member of the Jecheon Group’s patriarchal family, I have always fulfilled my duties as it befits me, and my engagement to Mr. Park Eun-woo was also a duty for me and a choice I made to make the Jecheon Group shine. I don’t know what your world is like, but I’ve lived in it.”

“Ye Ryun…”

Knowing what I was about to say, Cha Ye bin called out to me with a hint of bitterness in his voice. The anger in his eyes subsided and was replaced by pity for me.

“Because of a woman you chose to abandon our Jecheon Group’s interest, my mother collapsed, and my father was prescribed with a blood pressure medication by Dr. Zhang this time, even though he was in good health.”

“I’m sorry, Ye Ryun.”

“Don’t say you’re sorry. You knew I’d hate her from the moment you bought her in brother. You reneged your duty to me, insisted on marrying Han Seo ri like a bully. Is it my fault that I hate her for causing so much damage to our group and family?”

Cha Ye bin shook his head and said nothing.

I blatantly looked her up and down. Her innocent long hair, white skin, and delicate body stirred men’s hearts. Tear-filled eyes that triggered a protective instinct. No wonder men love her.

There’s not even a single aspect of Cha Ye-ryun that I see in her.

She’s a woman who can’t live without relying on a man. She can’t solve things on her own, and her incompetence makes her an embarrassment to the company, so she casually asks everyone about it.

For Cha, who prides herself on her abilities and has done everything herself without relying on anyone, Han Seo-ri is the negation of everything she is.

I deeply sympathized with Cha Ye-ryun in the original, who went crazy because she hated Han, who took everything that Cha Ye-ryun had built, not with her strength, but with the strength of Cha Ye-bin and Park Eun-woo.

I became miserable because I was left out for her happiness. So much so that I even hated Han-seo in this fake world.

“It’s the same with you, Mr. Park. Your engagement to me. You didn’t want it in the first place.”

I turned my head toward Park Eun-woo, who hadn’t taken his gaze off me since earlier without a word.

Even when Han Seo-ri cried, even when she didn’t stop criticizing me, he remained silent, looking directly at me. Suddenly, the silence began to bother me.
