I Will Escape from the 'Flower of Trials'

IWEFTFOT Chapter 1.4

The male lead, Cha Ye-bin, was ridiculously ignorant and didn’t look at the surrounding situation when it came to anything related to Han Seo-ri.

He was even nicknamed “Unattractive Man”.

Park Eun-woo, the sub-male protagonist, was criticized for his inexplicable love for Han-seo-ri and his flirtatious behavior. Most

of the time, he was asked to please get out of his illusion.

Last but not the least, the villainess Cha Ye-ryun did something so stupid that it made you wonder, “was that even necessary?”

And the protagonists and the characters around them, who were completely oblivious to the blatant and obvious evil deeds.

All of this combined together to make “Flower of Trials” a truly epic Korean drama.

It even ends with Cha Ye-Ryun turning herself in and confessing all of her evil deeds.

What this means is that the main characters and the people around them didn’t even find any evidence of Cha’s misdeeds until she turned herself in.

Han Seo-Ri’s classic line is

“No way……, did Cha Ye-ryeon do this? If so, I will never forgive her. Never!”

But if I look at the articles about the drama, Cha ye Ryun’s best friend always said,

[Yes, Cha Ye-ryeon did it, but you guys only got to know about it now-]

[Oh, Han Seo-ri, please don’t forgive her or do something about it, anything is good; don’t just say that you want to forgive her for those things..].

“I still have a long way to go….”

I ran my finger down the events on the wall, one by one.

The drama is now in the middle. I sent the genetic test results of Han seo-ri and her father, Cha Se-hoon, to Han seo-ri’s adoptive parents last week.

Han-seo ri’s adoptive mother, who cares terribly for her adopted daughter, was furious at my suggestion that they go their separate ways.

She came to the office today and slapped me with a kimchi slap.

After this scene, we’ll spend the next two episodes with Han Seo Ri, who still has no idea about the results of the genetic test, suddenly crying and begging her adoptive parents to let her marry Cha Ye Bin.

“There won’t be any important scenes for a while, right?”

I stretched my arms long and hard, feeling like I’d dropped a huge burden, before stepping out of the shower in the bathroom.

Han Seo Ri would eventually find out that she and Cha Ye Bin were half-siblings when she overheard her adoptive parents talking in secret about it in the master bedroom.

She’ll be devastated and will leave for Busan, and Cha Ye bin will frantically search for her until he finds her with the help of the sub male lead, Park Eun Woo.

And then Han Seo Ri says,

“We’re siblings……!

And we’ll hear a huge secret: “We’re siblings, so Go away!!”

And thanks to Han Seo-ri’s snarky remark stating that Cha Ye-ryun revealed it, Cha Ye-bin rushes to Cha Ye-ryun in anger.

Cha ye ryun then tells him, “I only told you the truth, and you can never marry Han Seo-ri,” and her evil deeds take a break for the time being.

Of course, Cha Ye ryun already knows that Cha Ye bin is the adopted son, and not the father’s biological son. But she never tells him. Because she’s an evil woman.

She would never do anything that would help the protagonists’ love by kindly telling them the truth.

Then Han Seo Ri will enter the mansion as Cha ye bin’s father’s biological daughter and also as his half-sister to begin a hellish brother and sister life with her beloved Cha Ye Bin. From then on, I’ll be busy again.

I tore up the plot I had scribbled in my notebook and put it in the shredder.

No matter how much I rethink it, the hardest-working character in this drama is,

Cha Ye-ryun.

* * *

“So……. You’re saying you don’t know how she have gotten to the conference room on the 19th floor?”

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I don’t know!”

When I arrived at the company, I went to the security team to check how the sheep’s wool could have gotten into the company earlier.

After checking the CCTV, it turned out that Han’s adoptive mother had entered the main entrance of the company quite confidently and walked right past the security line that required

fingerprinting.

After checking, the security team looked at me with bloodless, white faces and bent down to apologize.

“Yeah, we really don’t know how she entered.”

Perhaps they were mesmerized, feeling nothing as they watched that lady going in.

This was a world where such things could be made possible if the drama required it, but not here.

“‘I don’t know’ isn’t the answer I want, you might have heard what happened today with the security team’s mistake, didn’t you?”

“I’m sorry, and they’ll be disciplined!”

I was fully aware that they had no choice, but I felt bad for them.

The least they could have done was tell her that no outsiders were allowed in.

“Look at that, you don’t even take their fingerprints, they just pass through the checkpoint so easily. How can our internal security be so lax? From now on, any vendor or passerby can come and go freely into the room and do whatever they want, is it okay with

you?”

I grumbled with a hint of resentment as I pointed my finger at the CCTV screen. I could see the faces of the security team members turning even paler with every word I said.

In this world, this nonsensical situation was acceptable if it was necessary for the drama, but in other ways, it was just like reality.

If I were to say nothing about this incident, I’m sure the company would discipline the security team.

Because an outsider just walked into the company and got one of the owners, Cha, to be slapped with kimchi.

I know that these people are innocent, and I know that I can’t let them be disciplined, so I just said a few words to them.
