Park Eun-woo is more handsome, colorful, and athletic than that actor, and if the remake were to cast an actor with the same looks, there would be a lot of demands to replace him.
The character of Cha Ye-bin is a bit too bland for a male lead, and hence Park Eun-woo was much more popular.
