Chapter 6: Must Exercise
To put it simply, I became obsessed with magic.
There was no other way to describe the situation I found myself in.
Every day, I couldn’t stop thinking about magic, whether I was awake or asleep. Learning existing spells was fun in itself, but in this world, the magic system allowed for the creation of new spells.
However, as someone who had just been reincarnated, I didn’t have the skills for that. My original spells were immature and far from practical, and there was still so much to learn.
That’s what made it enjoyable. I’ve always been a perfectionist, after all.

Suddenly, the maid Celestia appeared behind me.
I made a face like I had just bitten into a bitter bug in response to her words, delivered with a smirk.
Being in possession of Xenon’s body, I didn’t hesitate to adopt a slightly different personality, and I intuitively knew that in a world where conflict was rampant, I wouldn’t hesitate to hurt others.
Even the way I spoke with Xenon’s awareness no longer felt strange.

Anyway, for someone like me who used to be an indoor type, swordsmanship is tough. I’m prepared to hurt people, which is why I don’t hesitate to learn and wield a sword.

“Oh, wasn’t the debut of the third son supposed to coincide with entering school?”
“That’s right. If I were planning to enroll in officer school or a noble academy, I’d have already debuted. But I aspire to the Royal Academy, so my debut is still pending.”

As Celestia suddenly came closer and started rubbing her hands together, I couldn’t help but think she was an overly confident maid.
I heard the sound of history changing. Originally, Xenon wouldn’t have been able to ask her to come along, but he managed to persuade her with a mix of incentives and light threats. What a terrible way to handle things.
This information was supposed to be in the guidebook, but why is it picking up on these dark scenes that weren’t covered in the main story? It’s more like a Despair Book than a guidebook.
“Now then, let’s go to the city.”
Just as I was about to leave the room, my sleeve was tugged.
“Wait, wait! Are you trying to go alone? If I let my master go outside without any guards, I’ll get fired!”
“…I see, that’s troublesome.”
“Well, if I go with you, it’ll be fine. It’ll be a date!”
With her indigo hair swept behind her ear, Celestia smiled seductively.
But there was a mischievous look on her face. She was clearly teasing me.
Of course, I couldn’t let her have her way, so I chuckled and replied, “Haha, more like babysitting.”
“Ahhh!!! That’s mean!!!”
“Come on, let’s go already.”
“Mmm…”
Her sulking expression was unexpectedly cute.
