A lifeless voice leaked from Viola’s mouth and her eyes turned slightly red.
“Are you pointing a knife at me?”
Viola slapped Tundra on the cheek.
Thump!
Tundra’s cheeks, which had collapsed helplessly, swelled red. Then Viola pressed down on him. It happened in the blink of an eye.
“This mongrel dog.”
Soon Viola pressed Tundra’s back with her knee. She thrusted her dagger into her mouth, crushing Tundra behind her back.
“Hmm. What would happen if I gave strength to the side?”
Arin’s consciousness screamed ‘this is not it!’ and struggled. Her body was out of control. It was as if she had lost her body to Viola.
‘I have to get it back again.’
She had to get her body back somehow.
‘Leave it like this…’
It seemed like something really big was about to happen. And Arin knew.
‘Tundra can resist if he wants to resist.”
It wasn’t that he didn’t do it because he couldn’t resist. Tundra’s talent and Viola’s talent were close to each other. Assuming neither had any education. It was not like a male lead to be so powerless.
“I am not resisting.”
Arin read Tundra’s mind.
‘I came all the way here, burning with vengeance… In the end, I just want to give up.’
She guessed he thought it was over. Arin knew that feeling well. She was like that when she was in middle school. Her mother died long ago and was not by her side. Her dad said he was coming, but at the end he abandoned her, and people around her whispered that she didn’t have her parents, and then she didn’t have much reason to live.
“I’ll be by your side.”
If only she hadn’t had a strong Joon. Arin was sure she might have jumped off the roof that day…
Tundra’s psychological state was clearly visible. He must already have a hunch that his sister was dead. So he would be afraid to go further.
He must have seen his father’s dead body. After that, he wouldn’t have the courage to even face his sister’s corpse.
‘So just, he’d rather die here.’
Her heart ached. It broke at the thought of what he was thinking with his face and body.
‘Uh? It moves.’
Her body moved. She just regained her consciousness.
Viola glanced behind her. There, Zenon stood there with a very pleased expression.
Vicen looked a bit lost. His lips were pouting.
“I-I can do that much too.”
Zenon smiled and said.
“It was a neat job, princess.”
Viola choked her chest. She didn’t expect to lose control of her body like that.
‘Is this a side effect of possession?’
She seemed to have to sort things out anyway she did now.
“Man, I liked it.”
She put her dagger in her bosom. It was fortunate that she came to her senses before she really stabbed Tundra in the neck. Viola pointed to him.
“I will make this my toy.”
* * *
In the carriage returning to the Duke’s residence. Vicen showed off his own strength.
“I killed seven bad guys”
It was not a very beautiful story to hear. She listened with one ear and let it out with the other.
“But Viola.”
“what?”
“Apart from me, have you applied drugs to anyone before?”
“Never before.”
“Then am I the first?”
“Yes.”
Vicen’s eyes narrowed.
Her groggy eyes caught her breath and looked out the window at her. She felt strange.
“Hmm.”
“What’s the matter?”
“Hey, Viola.”
Vicen did not hide his true feelings.
“Do not apply ointment to anyone other than me.”
“Why?”
“That, that.”
In fact, Vicen didn’t even know his own heart. He just hated it.
“You mean that’s a dangerous poison?”
Ointment was a dangerous poison? …Since when?
“My heart is pounding, and I think my body is floating. I’m laughing but crying. Ointment has very serious side effects.”
Oh, please.
“If it was a normal person other than Bellato, would it have been very dangerous?”
“A normal person?”
“Bellato is born with a blessed body and mana. It’s dangerous for me too, but what about normal people?”
Viola sighed and… sighed again.
“Why are you sighing?”
“Just…”
In many ways, her mind was complicated. She was worried about Tundra being carried like a load on a cart, and she felt sorry for Vicen, who sincerely thought the ointment was poison.
“Vicen. Are you my brother?”
“Yes, I’m your brother Vicen.”
At that, Vicen smiled brightly.
“Huh. Why?”
“Ointment is not poison. So it’s not dangerous.”
“It’s dangerous.”
Vicen was forcing it.
“It’s forced, you know, right?”
Vicen’s face turned red. As he talked to Viola, he seemed to realice. Why didn’t he like it?
“I hate how others feel.”
Vicen wanted to monopolize her mood.
“If you apply ointment, others will feel the same way.”
Usually, she didn’t feel that much about applying ointment. But Viola stopped at his words.
Then Vicen paired his palms!
“Ah! I got a good idea.”, he laughed
What if Viola put ointment on someone else?
“I can get rid of it, right? Then the only person in the world that Viola applied ointment to is Vicen.”
Upon realizing this fact, Vicen’s heart felt relieved.
A smile crept across his lips. He felt as though he had lost a tooth that he had been suffering from.

Viola returned to her room. There, Zenon lowered Tundra slung over his shoulder to the ground.
Tundra was still stunned. His wrists and ankles were wrapped in harnesses (magic engineering restraint tools) that controlled movement and mana, and were connected by chains. It was heartbreaking to see him harnessed to his hands and feet like a slave and even to his mouth.
Viola stared at Tundra in silence.
‘No. He is not Joon.’
Even though he was not, they looked so identical. The eyes were the only thing that was different, even if they looked similar.
Viola sat down in her chair at a distance. On purpose she arrogantly tapped her toes and saw her own reflection in her mirror.
She was a bad girl, but there was no such thing as a bad girl in that castle. She still didn’t know. Was this good or sad?
“What should we do with the toy, princess?”
Viola answered.
“It looks good, display it.”
“All right.”
As Zenon injected a little mana, the magic engineering chain swayed by itself! Unfolded, the limbs of Tundra spread out on both sides. It became like hanging on a cross.
Viola grinned.
“It’s okay. Then go out.”
“What are you going to do?”
“Well. Since it bit me, it must be disciplined, right?”
“If you need anything, call me anytime, princess.”
“Okay.”
Once she let Zenon out.
Having sent Zenon outside, Viola tore her hair.
‘Uh, maybe it’s good?’
What else did she mean by discipline? Although she was brought in to save him once. There was the sound of the chains moving.
Ugh
A faint moan was also heard.
At some point, Tundra began to come to its senses.
“Mu, mea (what, what)!”
Tundra, who came to his senses, was taken aback. He couldn’t even pronounce properly because of the harness that covered his mouth.
Viola sat in her chair and watched Tundra for a while, and Tundra glared at Viola.
“Daja Poorger (free me now)!”
Saliva dripped from his mouth. Tundra spirit didn’t die even after he had just been treated badly. When he first met Viola, he was taken aback because he met a little girl like that in that mountain. But now things have changed.
In Tundra’s head, Viola was the perfect enemy. The monster that started killing him by shoving her knife into his mouth.
“Mi na yaa (kill me already)!!”
Seeing that, Viola came to her senses as well.
‘That’s right. He’s not Joon.’
He always smiled in front of Arin. He stood by her side like a strong tree. But Tundra had the eyes of a wild animal and did not fret so much.
“You just look the same.”
She controlled her heart.
‘Okay. Only the shell is the same.”
Clap! Clap!
Tundra continued to struggle against, his harness rattling ferociously. He, screaming with excitement, looked as if he would tear Viola to pieces with just his eyes.
“Aaaaaa!!”
Whoa.
Viola took a deep breath.
‘Are you okay? Everything will be alright.’
Because she knew better than anyone what kind of character Tundra had.
“What is your name?”
“Aaaaaaaa! Pour this (free this)!”
Viola waited silently for Tundra to calm down.
‘Tundra is a rational and smart character.’
But now he was too young. He didn’t have a proper education. And he just lost all his family, and even got kidnapped, so he seemed to have lost his temper.
First, she had to calm him down.
“You went into the living room by yourself… How was the result? I only killed two of them, and suffered grievous wounds in an unsightly way.”
Viola deliberately dug through Tundra’s chest.
“Besides, you couldn’t do anything in the end, and you just hid in a corner and trembled. Even without seeing your sister’s death with your own eyes. I’m wrong?”
“Uuuuuuuuuu!”
Tundra screamed and cried.
“You would have wanted to give up everything. Cowardly. Maybe you thought it would be better to die. I did too. I was an orphan in the past.”
For a moment Tundra’s body stopped.
“My mother died, and my father abandoned me. Although now I was adopted.”
When she entered nursery school Kang Joon said this.
‘My name is Kang Han-joon.’
“My name is Viola Bellato.”
Someday he also said this.
‘You are abandoned.’
He did not always comfort her with warm words. He told her the truth with soft eyes.
Looking back, it was better that way.
‘Do you think your dad will come back someday?’
He thought she would be fine. The lies of the grown-ups gave her little and futile hopes, and her hopes made her even more miserable. The higher the top of the Tower of Hope, the more it hurted when it fell.
“Your father and sister are dead.”
There was another thing Kang Joon said to Arin, who thought the world had collapsed.
‘It won’t be okay. Still, I’ll be by your side.’
What did that mean? Those words made Arin stand up like magic.
“It won’t be okay.”
Although the situation was different, it was actually similar.
“I will still be by your side.”
What Kang Joon said to Arin. Viola gave it to Tundra.
