“You really shouldn’t do this to me.”

After a long struggle, Brody, who was tied up with a blanket, glared at Kyle.

But since she couldn’t even move her arms or legs, Brody’s appearance naturally wasn’t threatening at all.

Kyle snorted and ignored her, which only served to make Brody laugh by bringing up past events she had been reluctant to bring up.

“Do you know what Shiloh said to me after we fought?”

“I don’t want to know.”

Brody turned to Kyle who was growling his response angrily, telling him to listen even if he didn’t want to know.

“He told me to leave with him. He said that when we reached the forest, we should leave together.”

“But you know what I said back then? If you knew, you’d fall in love with me.”

Brody chuckled, remembering how righteous her answer had been.

But what really caught Kyle’s attention was not Brody’s answer, but the part where Brody said Shiloh told her to leave with him.

He wondered if that’s what they were talking about yesterday when they were whispering behind his back.

Kyle felt distraught when he realized this. But this distraught feeling was dispelled as if it were a lie by Brody’s words that he heard afterwards.

“I told him I couldn’t leave you, even though just the night before you called me a sly, disgusting rabbit!”

Brody was at a loss as she recalled what he had said to herself and became angry again.

Kyle watched Brody writhing and wriggling under the blanket in silence.

“You noticed my disappearance this morning and thought I had run off with Shiloh, right?”

Brody, who had been talking to herself, laughing, snorting and doing all sorts of other things, soon gave up and lay down, blowing air out of his nose.

Brody grumbled in frustration and blinked at Kyle, who had been staring at her silently since a while ago.

Kyle still didn’t answer. He slowly turned around and lay down, looking at the ceiling.

“Because you’re handsome.”

As Kyle sighed, Brody, who had been giggling, came over to him and spoke again, saying it was just a joke.

“There is no other reason. You are just loved because you deserve it.”

He didn’t feel the cold floor of the ice cave where he always slept.

The blanket was warm and comfortable, and the voice whispering to him to wake up in that warmth was sweet like the sunshine on a holiday morning.

But when Kyle opened his eyes feeling good, Brody was right in front of him.

“Are you awake?”

She looked at him with her eyes wide open and smiled, rubbing her forehead against his shoulder with her disheveled appearance.

Kyle, still half asleep, looked at Brody in a daze.

He felt comfortable. Waking up to the warmth and hearing her call his name this early in the morning.

But this peaceful state did not last long.

“Kyle, since we’re up early, why don’t we have some cozy time?”

Kyle, who had come to his senses due to Brody talking nonsense this early in the morning, pushed her against the wall.

Then he turned over and lay down under the blanket.
