Episode 44
Brody’s eyes widened at the unexpected news. Shiloh hesitated for a moment before continuing.
“I told you. Three years ago, my mother entered their territory to stop Rubinus’ rampage. Since then, the Red Fox Tribe has become more vigilant against outsiders. And the situation may have gotten worse when we kidnapped Rubinus’ child a few months ago. Rumor has it that any foreigner who enters Volcan will be captured as soon as they enter.”
“Really?”
It was terrible that she had to throw away all the plans she had made.
She also didn’t even know this fact and planned to walk into the wilderness of Rubinus.
“Then what do we do now!”
“Even if you tell me that…”
Brody yelled at Shiloh and then came to her senses when she saw his embarrassed look.
She quickly looked at the map. Since she couldn’t get through Volcan, there was only one way left.
Crossing over a group of mountains called the Crescent Mountains because they surround the Rubinus Wilderness in a crescent shape.
The Crescent Mountains have lava fields all over the place, so it was a very dangerous and time-consuming route.
Brody, who had also told Kyle about the Crescent Mountains when they decided to cross the wilderness, watched Kyle closely.
“What do we do, Kyle?”
But Kyle answered unexpectedly calmly.
“What can we do? We have no choice but to go through the mountains.”
Since he was always the one who insisted on the ‘fastest way, no matter what’, she thought he would get annoyed when the schedule was delayed.
However, Brody, who was a bit scared, was touched by Kyle’s unexpectedly calm reaction.
“Kyle, you… how did you become so understanding?”
Kyle glared at her as she mischievously told him how his understanding had previously been rock bottom.
But soon he picked up the meat skewer that was next to him and held it out to her, who had barely eaten earlier, and said.
“Eat it. Starting tomorrow, I won’t stop even if you whine and ask for rest.”
“…Oh, okay.”
Brody realized his intentions and took the skewer in disappointment.1she was disappointed that he wasn’t really considerate of her as he planned to starve her again.
Thus, after finishing the meeting about the newly changed journey to the Half Moon Mountains, they sat by the campfire, filling their stomachs for the next day.
“Excuse me….”
Several women from the White Fox tribe approached Kyle.
They pointed to a dance floor already set up around a bonfire and asked if they wanted to dance together.
Brody looked at Kyle with great interest, because they were obviously pretty girls.
Kyle Roden had finally grown into a man who could get along with other women, even if only a little.
It was an opportunity to confirm that.
Brody nodded for him to hurry up and go, raising her elbow and poking him in the side.
“What are you doing? Go quickly!”
But Kyle refused by agitatedly throwing down the skewer he was holding.
Then, he looked straight at Brody, ignoring the women who were running away in surprise.
“You want me to go quickly?”
He had a face of bewilderment at the sight of her behaving like a friend of the same sex, not a lover.
But Brody just pouted, thinking that he was annoyed at being bothered.
She just wanted to see Kyle hanging out with other girls a little more, as they were becoming quite friendly with him now.
But she felt regretful when she saw him still not even looking at a woman other than Zelda.
“No… I just did that because the ladies would feel embarrassed.”
And true to her word, Brody happily stood up when men asked her to dance.
“Oh, that’s great! Let’s dance together!”
Brody followed the men and motioned to Kyle to watch and learn her manners, but in Kyle’s eyes, she just looked like a rabbit who was excited to be hanging out with a bunch of handsome young men.
Actually, it was true that she was excited.
While Kyle was looking at Brody with a displeased look as she disappeared into the dance floor without hesitation, he didn’t even realize it.
Shield, who was watching this whole scene from the side, said with a laugh.
“It’s so weird.”
Kyle frowned at the sudden sound. Of course, Shiloh saw it but was not discouraged. He continued talking while drinking the wine in his glass.
“It’s obvious that the woman loves the man more and chases him… but strangely, the woman doesn’t get jealous, and instead, the man who doesn’t love the woman gets jealous.”
Kyle realized that the ‘woman’ was Brody and the ‘man’ was himself.
At the same time, the eyes looking at Shiloh became fierce.
He thought it was ridiculous. There was no way he could be jealous because of a rabbit.
Kyle just thought Brody was being a jerk and getting into trouble because she was so obsessed with men. That careless guy… he was just worried about what might happen because of the rabbit.
And most importantly, he had a woman he loved, so he couldn’t be jealous of who that d** rabbit was with or what she did. Kyle gritted his teeth.
After sending a warning look to Shiloh, his gaze turned to the bonfire.
But soon, he started to look up nervously to find a woman hanging out with other people.
The woman danced with her snow-white hair fluttering.
The woman resembled a rabbit as she was smiling brightly with her face flushed by the firelight.
In those twisted eyes looking at her, there was a discontent that only he could not see.

Brody took a long bath and went into the small tent that the people had prepared for her.
They had originally intended to lend Brody an entire, spacious and comfortable tent used by the White Fox tribe.
But Brody didn’t want to inconvenience the people who originally used the place, so she decided to sleep in a small tent they had simply prepared.
The tent was small enough to fit only two people, but it was cozy and warm because of that.
Brody cried out in happiness as she finally lay down on a proper bed that wasn’t on the cold snow, or in an ice cave, or in the slippery, smelly belly of a whale.
“Oh my God. Is this heaven?”
But the moment she pulled up her warm blanket and tried to take a nap.
A dark shadow appeared over the tent along with the sudden sound of footsteps.
Soon, a large figure pulled aside the cloth covering the entrance to the tent and lowered its large body to come in.
Brody was startled and was about to scream, but her eyes widened when she saw that the man who had come in was Kyle.
“What is it, Kyle?”
Clearly, his tent was right next to Brody’s. But he came in without saying anything even when Brody spoke to him, as if he had come to the wrong place.
Then he rolled Brody, who was in the middle of the bed, to the corner and lay down next to her.
What was this situation?
Brody was taken aback when she saw Kyle come to her tent and lie down, even though he wasn’t drunk.
But soon the corners of her mouth rose.
Could this be a signal?
A sign that he wanted to merge with her!
Brody, the rabbit, who was overwhelmed by her heat, realized this and her body immediately turned hot without any warning.
“Kyle, you finally opened up to me!”
Brody was so touched that she couldn’t contain herself, walked up to him and hugged him tightly.
Then, as she was waiting for him to finally embrace her, rubbing her head against his strong, thick arms, and feeling everything melting away…
“Hey.”
A low, muffled voice came from above Brody’s head.
“Get out of my way while I am still speaking nicely to you.”
After saying those words, Kyle slammed her into the corner again.
Brody’s mood instantly plummeted after she hit the wall.
She lay there with a shocked, stoic face, then suddenly raised her head and shouted angrily.
“What the heck! Why did you come into my bed when we’re not even going to sleep together?”
“Wake up, you **** rabbit. Does lying down together mean we can sleep together?”
Trying to act cute, Brody would try to hit him with a pillow and tell him to get out if he wasn’t going to sleep with her.
But Kyle ignored the sullen bunny girl who was throwing a tantrum and just folded his arms and lay down.
In fact, the reason he came into Brody’s tent instead of his own was because of the anxiety he felt.
The anxiety caused by Shiloh kidnapping Brody this morning.
Brody said that she was asleep and didn’t even know that Shiloh had kidnapped her.
He bit her and ran all that way, but she just fell asleep.
When Kyle heard that, his blood pressure rose and he almost bit the back of her neck.
She was a rabbit that was really careless. So when Kyle went into his tent, he couldn’t sleep because he was worried about the rabbit and came out.
He couldn’t sleep because he was worried that something might happen if he slept too deep in this unfamiliar place.
But given Kyle’s personality, it was absolutely unthinkable for him to share a blanket with someone like Brody…
He calmed down and said that since she was someone he needed, he could put up with this kind of thing.
He never wanted to go through the same thing as this morning, looking for her, ever again.
At that time, he was so angry that he couldn’t even think, but on the other hand, he was also worried that Brody might really have abandoned him.
It was not the anxiety of losing a guide, but the shock of the empty space left behind by someone who seemed like they would be by his side his whole life.
Of course, Kyle thought that he was so out of his mind in such an urgent situation that he felt such useless emotions.
“Get out of here, you **** wolf!”
“Just keep your mouth shut and sleep.”
“If you were just going to keep your mouth shut and sleep, why did you come into my tent?”
Kyle ended up yelling at Brody for constantly nagging him.
“It’s because of you! If you hadn’t been sleeping soundly this morning, I wouldn’t have had to run around looking for you!”
Brody, who had been grumbling, blinked when she heard Kyle’s words.
Even though Kyle was losing his temper like that, she realized that it was because he was worried she would get hurt or get kidnapped again like this morning.
“Kyle… you’re worried about me, that’s why…?”
Brody, touched, quickly became a shy girl, covering her blushing cheeks.
“I didn’t even know that…!”
She was so moved that she couldn’t control her emotions and hugged his back.
The moment their bodies touched, Kyle jumped up in surprise at the feeling of her body rubbing against his back.
“This is crazy, seriously!”
“Whoa!”
The situation inside the tent, where one of them was angry and the other was trying to seduce them while fighting, was war itself.
But they did not know that the appearance of the tent shaking from the outside was suggesting something quite different.
I can´t believe it, I´m so embarassed for them.
