The only thing I know is the original story.

So, I don’t know anything about what the main characters were doing before the story began.

Nevertheless, thanks to my sisters, I knew that two of the male protagonists were visiting Trovancha and approximately when they were supposed to arrive.

My question is, why are the two, who should only arrive a week later, already in Trovancha?

And why are they in the playground in front of our house?

“Sir, look at her size! How could you push such a small child so hard like that?”

My little unnie was scolding the blond man, Marius.

She was usually as gentle as a spring breeze, but she seemed quite angry now.

Meanwhile, my heart was pounding, and my body trembled.

Marius was a male lead who usually appeared easygoing but could turn ruthless at any moment.

I was worried he might get upset because of my sister.

“L-Little unnie…”

Stop it, please stop. unnie, that man is terrifying!

“If it weren’t for him, my sister would have cracked her head open or broken a leg. It could’ve been a disaster.”

“I’m sorry. I’m so sorry…”

Despite being the Emperor of the Empire, Marius bowed his head repeatedly, apologizing to my little unnie.

Though he had an easygoing personality in the original work, I never imagined he would apologize so earnestly to someone from Trovancha.

“Look at our youngest. She’s trembling in fear.”

My little unnie thought I was still scared and stroked my back, but the truth was, I was trembling because of the male leads.

“I’m fine.”

Even though I said so, my sister seemed to think I was acting mature for my age to reassure her.

She looked at me with a troubled expression before turning to Leopold to express her gratitude.

“Thank you for catching my sister. Thanks to you, it didn’t turn into a major accident.”

“It’s nothing.”

Leopold’s voice was even colder than I had imagined.

Peeking out from my sister’s embrace, I glanced at Leopold.

He was the kind of man with reflexes good enough to catch me mid-air as I fell off the swing.

In the original story, he appeared as a swordmaster who had honed his physical abilities to the extreme and later became the commander who led Trovancha and the Empire to victory in war.

‘Wow. He’s really big…’

All the male leads were much taller than average, but Leopold was exceptional.

His build and height seemed larger than our front door.

And those hard muscles I had felt earlier when I fell into his arms…

“Thank you, sir.”

No matter how scared I was of the male leads, manners were manners.

Leopold looked slightly startled as he stared at me before faintly lifting the corners of his mouth.

Next to him, Marius clapped his hands over his mouth and exclaimed dramatically.

“Oh my, what are we going to do with this little one? She’s just too cute!”

“Leopold, I’d like to thank you properly…”

“It’s fine. I’m just glad the child isn’t hurt—”

Marius cut Leopold off mid-sentence and butted in.

“Then, could you perhaps be our guide?”

“Huh?”

That strange sound came from me. What kind of ridiculous suggestion was that?

“You know how hard it is to visit Trovancha, right? It was really, really difficult to enter, but we need someone familiar with the area. Miss, could you help us out?”

Unnie, please, don’t fall for this!

I shook my sister’s hand to signal a refusal.

But my sister smirked and shook her head.

“What nonsense is that? If you have any conscience, you shouldn’t even suggest such a thing.”

Using a smiling face to subtly insult someone was one of my sister’s specialties.

Marius lightly nudged Leopold with a playful tone.

“Hey, Leopold wanted a guide more than anyone. Isn’t that right?”

“Indeed. If it’s possible, I’d like to humbly ask for your help.”

“Hmm…”

Hearing Leopold’s request, my sister seemed to contemplate, and I fell into my own dilemma.

Getting involved with these troublesome male leads wouldn’t end well, but my little unnie and older sister were bound to meet them eventually.

In that case, wouldn’t it be better to build a somewhat good relationship from the start?

Maybe this was an opportunity given by fate.

Before my sister could answer, I grabbed Leopold’s hand and shouted.

“Sure!”

If it’s come to this, my plan is to make the male leads friends with our family.

My little unnie ended up becoming their tour guide due to my insistence.

However, that didn’t mean she would guide them all around Trovancha.

Since I was young, physically weak, and slow, my sister decided to limit the tour to the local hotspots.

“Trovancha doesn’t have many accommodations for travelers. I can’t imagine where you’re staying.”

My little unnie, who had been ready to quarrel with the Emperor Marius earlier, had already reverted to her usual gentle tone. It was a sign that her anger had subsided.

“We’re staying at a small guesthouse near the Toban Beach.”

“Oh my! That area? I know it well! I used to work nearby.”

“Is there nothing worth sightseeing around Toban Beach?”

“By the way, Mr. Leopold, have you tried Trovanca’s traditional food? There’s a really good restaurant nearby.”

The little unnie ignored Marius entirely and only talked to Leopold.

Marius, however, didn’t seem to mind being blatantly dismissed. He kept interjecting here and there, but unnie remained one step ahead.

If there was any relief, it was that Marius wasn’t the type to go off the rails unpredictably like François Cassel.

“Ughhhh.”

As soon as we sat at the table of the famous restaurant unnie had brought us to, she let out a heavy sigh.

My feet were aching, and the stress of dealing with the male leads had drained me.

“Hahaha. Look at this little one sighing! Hey, kiddo, how old are you?”

“I’m six! …Huh? And I’m not a kid!”

“Sure, sure. If you’ve only been alive for six years, you’re definitely still a baby. A baby.”

“You… How old are you then, mister?”

“Me? How old do I look?”

Marius rested his chin on his hands and leaned forward across the table toward me.

And my heart dropped for a second. Male lead or not, he was stunning.

If Leopold exuded raw masculinity and François embodied beauty, Marius had the chiselled looks of a sculpture.

His dazzling blond hair caught the eye, but it was his sharp nose bridge, refined philtrum, and jawline beneath his forehead that truly captivated.

Could a person look this perfect? It felt almost unreal.

Though my heart raced, his playful blue eyes spurred me to tease him back with boldness.

“You look like you’re 550 years old!”

On impulse, I dropped the formal tone, but quickly corrected myself.

“…sir!”

“550? Kiddo, take another look. This face couldn’t possibly be that old. And if formal speech is tough, you can talk casually with me.”

Wait, am I really allowed to talk informally to an emperor?

Well, one thing was for sure: chances like this didn’t come often.

Might as well go for it. If it backfires, I’ll switch back to formal speech.

“Alright then, you’re 5,550 years old!”

“Hmm… 5,000 years, huh? Kiddo, you clearly have no eye for these things. But even if I were 5,000 years old, I’d still be the most handsome man, wouldn’t I?”

He grinned, his attractive eyes narrowing cheerfully as his white teeth showed.

It was the kind of hearty laugh that lifted everyone’s spirits, but when I stared at him with my mouth hanging open, it turned into a teasing chuckle.

Embarrassed that he’d caught me admiring him, I felt a surge of irritation.

“No! Uncle Leo is way better-looking!”

“What?!”

Leopold, who had been drinking water beside us, choked and coughed violently at my words.

He covered his mouth, his face flushing as if something had gone down the wrong pipe.

I puffed out my chest, lifted my chin, and emphasized my point again.

“Marius, you’re nothing compared to Uncle Leo!”

Leopold kept coughing, while Marius looked at me in disbelief, insisting I take a closer look.

“Kiddo, look carefully. There’s no way I’m less attractive than him!”

“Nope. Uncle Leo is the best!”

“Marius, calm down. The little one has already made her decision.”

Leopold said this with a faint smirk.

“Still, I must be the most handsome among 5,550-year-olds, right? Right?”

“Nope. Definitely not.”

Unnie, unable to stand it anymore, stepped in and patted my head.

“Well, our youngest has great taste.”

With just one remark from her, Leopold’s face turned so red it went beyond blushing to full-on crimson, reaching even his neck.

Was a compliment about looks really something to get this flustered over?

Then again, in the original story, Leopold was depicted as a shy and pure-hearted character.

And considering my older sister was one of the most beautiful women in the Trovancha Empire, it made sense that even a male lead would get embarrassed when she praised him.

“T-thank you, kiddo.”

“My name’s not ‘kiddo.’”

“If it’s not ‘kiddo,’ then it must be ‘acorn’?”

I tilted my head, not understanding Marius’s joke, so he explained further.

“You’re so small, like a tiny little thing. If not an acorn, then maybe a shrimp?”

“I’m not a shrimp!”

“Hahaha! Shrimp never admit they’re shrimps!”

“You… My name is Liliana!”

“Then your full name must be Liliana Acorn Shrimp.”

“No! I’m not an acorn or a shrimp!”

Ugh, he was teasing me again! How annoying!

I slumped into my chair in frustration, while Marius chuckled uncontrollably.

Leopold told him to stop teasing, but even he had a faint smile on his face.

Even my dependable older sister was trying to hold back laughter.

Ah, woe is me. The world is so unfair!

“Liliana, even if you’re small, you’re cute and adorable instead.”

“Sob. I want to be tall like my sisters too.”

“If you don’t leave behind any green peppers, spinach, or carrots, you’ll grow taller in no time.”

“I hate all three!”

Just then, the food arrived.

The older sister had ordered Barolo Brasato, beef braised in wine and spices, and Vitello Tonnato, veal marinated in wine and herbs, for the table.

“I heard that Imperials eat more meat than vegetables, so I focused on ordering meat dishes.”

My dish, as usual, was the children’s lunch special.

The delicious aroma made my mouth water, and I eagerly grabbed my fork to take a bite.

But before I could, Leopold spotted a new customer entering the restaurant and called out.

“François, what brings you here?”

At the unexpected name, I paused mid-bite, my head whipping around.

Was I some kind of magnet for the male leads in the original story?

Seeing François walk in, my jaw dropped even further.
