“Women’s help? What kind of help?”
“I need someone to help me prepare Dolorosa’s dress.”
The request was unexpected. If Cian was going to ask for something, she expected it would have something to do with politics, a scheme, or a conspiracy.
‘Preparing a princess’s dress. It’s certainly not an easy task.’
According to the original novel, Dolorosa had high aesthetic standards and a demanding personality. She used her uniqueness to transform the wild Graham into a gentleman.
Dolorosa must have found the process of preparing a dress very slow and cumbersome. It would’ve been too much for the busy Cian to handle.
Cian smiled awkwardly.
“I’ve been trying to choose the fabric and shape, but I thought it would be better to have a woman help me. If you feel uncomfortable, you can refuse.”
Cian seemed worried that Rachel might find his request burdensome, but in fact it was the opposite.
Rachel was thrilled.
‘I get to dress sweet little Dolorosa in all kinds of dresses! This isn’t a favor, it’s a reward! What good luck!’
She nodded gracefully, barely suppressing the urge to stomp her feet and jump up and down.
“No. I’m not the type of person who is well-versed in social trends, but I’m happy to help you if you need it. How many dresses will she be needing?”
“First, she’ll need one formal dress. Other than that, order whatever Dolorosa wants. I usually get around five to ten pieces. Oh, of course, you don’t have to worry about the cost.”
Shopping without worrying about cost! Is there anything more enjoyable than this!
Her heart did a happy dance as she realized she wouldn’t be bored for the time being.
“Leave it to me. I’ll do my best to help you.”
Cian smiled softly.
“I’m glad you’ll allow it. Dolorosa will be pleased, she’s very fond of Lady Rachel.”
“Really?”
“She’s been talking about Lady Rachel a lot since the last time she saw you. She told me you were a very kind person. It was the first time Dolorosa ever said anything like that.”
“But I didn’t do anything.”
In fact, Rachel had unknowingly given Dolorosa a lot.
Knowing that Dolorosa was the original female protagonist, Rachel looked at her with affection, and because she wasn’t originally from this world, she treated her without prejudice and without being swayed by the values of this world.
Dolorosa grew up among people who looked at her with subtle discrimination. Rachel was special to her because she saw her as she was and expressed her affection to a young but quick-witted child.
Unaware of the truth, Rachel was dumbfounded.
Cian smiled gently at her as she blinked in confusion. A tickling feeling filled Cian’s heart like a gentle breeze.

“…What?”
The servant who was reporting to Sigar was stunned into silence.
It was only two days ago that the previous servant’s head had been cut off. The previous servant had been beheaded for reporting something that offended Sigar.
Fortunately, Sigar hadn’t decapitated his newest servant. He twisted his lips into a wry smile.
“Say that again.”
“Yes, yes. There is news that His Royal Highness Archduke Cian Aisa Dicarsignac is hosting a party.”
“The reason?”
“That is… It’s supposed to be to show off some newly acquired artwork from the merchant…”
“Nonsense.”
Sigar leisurely rubbed his chin and muttered to himself.
Sigar, who stood at the peak of power, didn’t care what others thought and didn’t hide his true feelings.
“I can’t believe that Cian would open the mansion for such a trivial reason. He didn’t even throw a tea party on his own birthday or Dolorosa’s birthday, so what does he have in mind?”
The servant didn’t answer.
It was a wise move. This year alone, there’ve already been two servants who’d gotten their heads cut off after thoughtlessly responding to Sigar’s mutterings.
“I thought you were going to live like a rat, doing what you were told until you died of old age.”
He was intrigued because he hadn’t expected this at all.
Sigar asked.
“How have the nobles reacted?”
“Mostly, they’ve been very welcoming. They say there’s no guest list, and that anyone can come to the party as long as they bring an invitation. Everyone is scrambling to get an invitation.”
“An invitation-only party. The more I hear about it, the more I think it’s unlike him. How do I get an invitation?”
“They’re being handed out to the top clients of Iacobs. Rumor has it that there aren’t many of them and they’re hard to come by, so some people are trading invitations for a lot of money.”
“Expensive?”
“Well… there’s no set price, so it’s like an auction, and the highest bidder gets it. The last invitation that was traded went for five thousand gold…”
“Five thousand gold? Hahaha!”
Sigar finally burst out laughing.
Five thousand gold was the price of a small building in the center of the capital.
“That’s a lot of money to pay just to enter Cian’s house and look at some useless artwork.”
“Of course, the transaction was done in secret…”
“Cian’s party. I wonder what the purpose is.”
Even after thinking about it, he couldn’t come up with an answer.
With no information about Cian and no insight into his thoughts, it was impossible for Sigar to deduce the purpose of the party.
But Sigar was the emperor. Someone who could make Cian very uncomfortable, and someone who took great pleasure in making him uncomfortable.
Sigar tilted his head.
“My younger brother is having a party, so I shouldn’t miss it. I want you to get me one of those invitations. It doesn’t matter how much it costs.”
“Yes! I understand!”
“I’ll need at least three if Beatrix and Atreille are to come along.”
“I will obey the Emperor’s command!”
It was definitely a party held to celebrate something.
What kind of face would Cian make if Sigar appeared there?
He was already looking forward to it.

“Lady Rachel!”
As soon as the carriage stopped, Dolorosa jumped out and smiled brightly.
After exchanging a glance with Cian who exited behind her, Rachel greeted Dolorosa with a clear voice.
“Welcome, Princess Dolorosa.”
When Rachel smiled kindly at her, Graham puffed out his cheeks sullenly.
However, instead of making a big show of it like before, he calmed down and greeted them.
“Thank you, Master. And it’s been a while since I saw you, princess.”
Rachel and Dolorosa’s eyes widened in surprise.
“Oh my, Graham. You seem like a totally different person from the last time I saw you.”
“I know. I knew our Graham was more reserved than before, but I didn’t know it would be to this extent.”
“That’s pretty standard.”
Graham straightened his little body and Cian smiled.
“I see. You have the eyes of a knight now, it’s not just your swordsmanship that’s improved.”
“Thanks to you, Master.”
Rachel chuckled at the resolute answer.
While Cian taught Graham, Rachel decided to help Dolorosa fit her dress.
Rachel was excited for the next few weeks. Dolorosa’s hair was neatly tied up to take measurements.
‘She’s so pretty without even trying. She looks like a doll.’
Dolorosa had hair as black as the night sky, eyes that sparkled with gold, a pale face, and crimson lips that perfectly harmonized with each other.
She stood tall and proud, with a kind smile unusual for a girl her age, but her chubby cheeks made Rachel want to bite them. And how adorable were her neat little shoe nose peeking out from under her dress!
‘Graham is cute, but it’s a different kind of cute. I guess that’s why they say you should have both boys and girls. If only I had a daughter like her!’
Rachel clasped her hands together in front of her chest.
‘I’ll dress her in lots of pretty clothes! I’ll put ribbons and accessories in every color on her! We’ll pick out shoes and gloves together. I’m so excited to go shopping without having to think about my wallet.’
Now that she thought about it, Rachel hadn’t done any proper shopping since arriving in this world.
She’d been too absorbed in solving the problems of the Elrosa family and annulling her marriage.
‘There was no need. I wasn’t going out to socialize.’
Luckily, Rachel was never a social butterfly, so no one was suspicious of her being cooped up in the mansion.
‘Shopping and stuff like that can wait until after all the work is done.’
Rachel smiled brightly at Dolorosa.
“Well, then, Princess, shall we go inside? The wardrobe carriage will be here soon.”
“Great!”
“I’m going to practice swordsmanship with my teacher! Master, I practiced a lot. I’ll show you.”
Just then, another carriage appeared behind the Archduke Dicarsignac family’s carriage. She thought it must be the wardrobe carriage Cian had summoned, but the size and shape was unusual.
It was an imperial carriage.
“What’s an imperial carriage doing here?”
As Rachel muttered to herself, Cian and the children turned around to look.
The carriage slowed down and stopped behind the Archduke’s carriage. Several men dressed in flashy gold decorations got off and lined up on either side.
The man in the center unfurled a golden scroll and raised his voice.
“Glory to God! Lady Rachel, come forth and receive the royal order!”
Out of the blue?
Rachel was dumbfounded, but she hastened to comply.
The man watched as Rachel, Cian, and the children bowed, then continued.
“The gracious Emperor has decided to restore Lady Rachel’s lost family name and title! The title and nobility plaque will be awarded at the title award ceremony held in ten days!”
Ah, finally!
