Episode 126. Side Story 6

“Ah…!”

As soon as Elkais arrived in the bedroom, he set Eveline down on the bed.

She liked how urgently he pressed his lips against hers, so she wrapped her arms around him. Her chest had swelled just as much as her belly, so when his body touched hers, their chests brushed together.

He gave a short laugh when her soft chest pressed against his and held her shoulders. Then, rubbing their lips together roughly, he explored her mouth.

Ever since she got pregnant, they hadn’t even kissed much.
Because he was afraid it would lead to this.

Eveline knew very well how he’d avoided kissing her, only hovering around awkwardly. And she wasn’t unaware of why he’d been avoiding this kind of intimacy either.
She could feel it too—this was exactly why.

He was the kind of man who could hold back just fine, but once that door opened, everything exploded at once. So, when she had tried to comfort him with her hands before, she understood how much it meant that he had held himself back out of care for her.

“Mm…”

Eveline let out a small sound when Elkais gripped her breast firmly, but loosened his hold the moment she flinched. She couldn’t help but smile.

His hands were large, and yet, because of her pregnancy, her breasts had grown too big to fit in one hand.

She opened her eyes slightly to see her chest squished in his palm. Her body was so sensitive that even her clothes felt uncomfortable.

“Haa… El.”

“What is it?”

At her call, he pulled back just slightly and asked. A thin string of saliva stretched and broke between them. He wiped the drool off her chin with his thumb and looked into her eyes.

He seemed just a little tense, maybe worried she’d ask him to stop.

“I want to try being on top this time.”

“…Alright.”

Her words made him blush before he even realized it.

He rolled over to lie beside Eveline, then gently lifted her up so she could straddle him.

“How are you so strong?”

“Because you’re light?”

Elkais looked a little flustered as he answered her question.

Eveline was surprised at how effortlessly he lifted her but accepted it once she remembered he was the youngest Swordmaster and a Royal Alpha with monstrous strength. She rested her head on his shoulder and murmured,

“You make me feel so safe, I don’t even know what to say.”

“If you’ve got nothing to say, then shut me up.”

“With what?”

“Your lips would make me happy. Your chest would make me ecstatic.”

“And what if I use my bellybutton?”

Eveline teased, and Elkais chuckled.

“That part’s so cute, I might just bite it.”

Grinning, he reached for Eveline’s clothes.

He really liked the maternity dresses she’d been wearing lately. He had liked her uniform before they were married, but maternity clothes were his favorite now.
Loose-fitting yet subtly showing off her figure, they somehow looked even more seductive to him.

Whenever the wind blew and her pale skin peeked through the soft fabric of her white maternity dress, his thoughts would short-circuit like an Alpha in heat.

Of course, he’d never gone through a proper rut, but when they were stranded on that island, every day had felt like a heat cycle in itself.
And today felt the same.

Still, it was easier than back then. Back then, he’d taken so long just to figure out his feelings, and even after he knew, he couldn’t bring himself to say “I love you.”

But now, he could express it whenever he wanted. And every time he did, Eveline would look at him with eyes full of affection.

The aching longing and the heat rising in his body were bearable now—because at the end of it all, Eveline’s love was always waiting for him.

He slowly undressed her, taking in the changes in her body.

“Again with those lusty eyes.”

“Aren’t you used to it by now?”

“How could I be? You do it every time you bathe me.”

Eveline gave him a soft laugh.
Every time he bathed her, he looked at her like a black panther that hadn’t eaten in days and finally found prey.

Whenever he looked at her like that, she felt an odd sense of power—like she’d become his master.

“Then become ugly. So I won’t look at you like this. That should work, no?”

“You said the same thing last time when I was all swollen, El.”

“If you had three eyes and four noses, I might see you differently,” he said seriously.

But honestly, even if she had three eyes, he figured he’d just see it as one more pair of the blue eyes he loved, and he’d probably get used to it quickly.

“Extra eyes are kind of useless.”

“…”

“But noses…”

He looked at Eveline’s cute, dainty nose. With a nose like that, even four wouldn’t be so bad.

“No, mouths… hmm…”

If she had more mouths, maybe they could share even more mature kinds of love.
“Mouths might be a bit dangerous.”

“When you look at me like that, you seem like a criminal. It’s kind of scary.”

At her words, Elkais relaxed his expression and laughed again.

“Let’s pick up where we left off.”

With that, he gently removed her clothes and set them aside.

He was really glad that Eveline no longer wore corsets and negligees after getting pregnant. Instead, she wore thin, sleeveless long tees—cute enough to look like dresses.

He’d torn her corsets more than a few times in the past, and every time he did, Eveline gave him such a strange look that it made him self-conscious.

“Has it really been… seven months?”

“About that.”

He looked at her changed body with a blissful smile.
It was already a beautiful, curvy body—but now, with their child inside her, it was even more breathtaking. And the life growing inside her? It was his.

“Elkais, you take yours off too.”

“Alright.”

He undressed easily and looked at Eveline.

“Come here.”

Then he lifted her and settled her on top of him. As he stroked her cheek, his hand trailed down to her neck.

“Mm…”

He gently ran his fingers over her earlobe, then moved down to her chest. His hand cupped her full breasts, playing with them skillfully with his thumb.

Even though Eveline had taken the lead and climbed on top, she felt like she was the one being led again.

But the strange thing was… she didn’t hate it.
Even when he took the lead, she still felt like his master somehow—and the way he fixated on her chest with such focus made her feel both ticklish and good all at once.

She began to feel tension in her thighs from the growing pressure of his massive presence pressing against her.

“Eveline. Let me.”

“…Mm… Okay.”

The moment she gave permission, he laid her down.

Eveline could feel her red hair spread across the bed like a peacock’s tail feathers. She felt his body gently cover hers, burrowing close.

“My legs…”

“If it’s uncomfortable, just say so.”

“It’s not that. It’s just been so long, I’m a little nervous.”

Her body tensed up as he spread her legs and moved closer. It had been nearly seven months since they’d last made love.

Before the pregnancy, it had been frequent.
In carriages, during work, in the middle of the night… even when half-asleep at dawn.

They had nights where they went at it until they collapsed from exhaustion.

So it felt strange to be nervous and awkward now.
But more than anything, Elkais was being even more tender than the first time he held her. His eyes were deeper, more affectionate, and he looked at her changed body with even more desire than before.

In that moment, Eveline finally realized—no matter how she changed, no matter what she looked like—his gaze, his smile, the way he treated her… none of it would ever change.

His actions now spoke more than any of the reassurances he’d given her before.
His unwavering gaze, his gentle voice, and the way he longed for her.

“Why are you shaking so much, Eveline? You’re making me worry.”

“I-it’s just… it’s been a while, that’s all.”

Even as she trembled, she felt full—overflowing.

Then, meeting her eyes, he smiled warmly and kissed her neck.
Goosebumps broke out all over Eveline’s body—but not from fear. From the overwhelming sense of satisfaction.

She’d never felt this good before they even began.
As he gently bit into her neck, she dug her nails into his shoulder blades. His skin was so tough, it didn’t leave a single mark, even when she clawed at it.

“I really love your neck.”

“Haa…”

Eveline remembered how, even before she was pregnant, he used to cover every inch of her neck with marks. It was familiar, and still made her heart race.

His hard teeth pressed into her, then gave way to soft lips that caressed her neck.

Then he began to suck gently. Eveline knew what came next—he’d twist and grip her breasts.

Just as she remembered, his hands returned to her chest, then slowly made their way lower.

“Ah…”

“Your breasts are so soft.”

He chuckled, saying something that made her blush. Then, grabbing her hips, he pulled her closer.
